The ball where every she-wolf was excited to be apart. Where the little girl who always dreamt about her knight and shinning armor to come and dance with her. Its where you are supposed to meet your true love and live happily ever after. It was meant to be your fairy tale come true. But in real life it was waking up alone and being terrified. In real life its being use to be being on your own. In real life things are not a fairy tale and your knight and shining armor isn't always the one you want it to be. In real life people fall in love and they fall out of love.
I was here watching everyone dance with their mates having the time of their lives. Smiles on every ones face except mine. Now you're wondering why am I alone and miserable? Well it started when my father banned me from seeing my fiancee. Since it is Nebula's ball they refuse for us to be together. This place is useless and I am miserable at best. I wanted to be one of those girls for once, spinning around showing all her friends her dress and dancing with the man of her dreams. In real life things are more complicated then that. From the corner of my eye I saw my knight he looked equally as miserable.
"You know you can be out there dancing right?" As soon as I heard that smooth voice my heart melted.
"I would love to but only with you"
"Then lets show them they cant have the best of us?" He asked holding out his hand. I quickly grabbed it and followed my knight to the dance floor and started to dance to Nightingale by Demi L. as we swayed from side to side and followed each others pace I knew my night just got better. I opened my eyes and looked around I saw all my friends and old friends dancing with their mates holding on to them as if it were a dream and they would loose them any moment. I even watched the evil witch Lizeth and Kol dance together. Even though it was supposed to be him I think the Moon Goddess realized she made a mistake. I want this guy in my life to love me til my dying days, but I know I am terrified of him. I am scared he will leave, I don't want him to leave me.
"What are you thinking about pretty girl?"
"How I am scared you might leave"
"Don't think like that, I will always be here for you remember?" Pat replied kissing my forehead softly. I didn't reply I just let my head rest on his chest as I closed my eyes living in the moment.
"You know we have rules for a reason, when I ban you from someone its only for your own protection" I heard my dad angrily say ruining my moment. I don't know if its because I was so tense and stressed out at the moment from being around these people but my Vamp side took full effect and I lost complete control.
"Don't you ever tell me what to do! You shipped me out as if I was nothing you sent me across the fucking world! Then you have the nerve to ask me for help, do you realize who the hell I am? I am Alpha of the most feared pack, I don't need to be taking orders from you daddy dearest!" I roared making everyone in the ballroom stop and stare. I flashed him my fangs and let my eyes change to the color of blood because at that moment all I seed was RED.
"What the fuck are you? What did you do to her?" My dad started yelling at Pat and I. I launched at him but was quickly yanked away from my prey from Pat, he rushed me out of there before I drained each and everyone of them for the delicious blood that ran in their veins. I know I would have to explain to my pack and this was going to be toll on them, but if they were loyal as they said they were they should't be fazed.
"What were you thinking Sophia? Do you even think about our pack and what will happen to them because of that immature out burst you just had?"
"Don't you dare blame me for that Patrick, I didn't ask for this. You know how they have been stressing me out yet you still begged me to come to this hellhole, for fucks sake they are lucky I didn't kill him on the spot"
"You aren't the same Sophia I don't know whats going in through your head any more. We were supposed to go through this together but everyday I feel you shutting me out even more then the day before."
"Leave her alone Patrick, look at her she is broken" Taylor cut in to my rescue.
"No Taylor this is happening more then normal lately, she is loosing control and can't suppress her vampire side any more. No offense Taylor but you don't know that feeling she is giving into it. Once we let her we will loose her"
"Stop talking about me as if i'm not here!" I yelled feeling myself slip deeper into the dark hole that was taking over me.
"Turn your switch off Sophia. Let me out, let that useless pack know who Francesca really is. I want out, let me out!" I heard whispers in my head chanting over and over. I ran away from the arguing boys and zipped in and out of people around the yard til I found the one person I was looking for Nathan.
"You know sneaking up on me and spying is very not like you Soph"
"I just needed normal for a minute, you were once my best friend so its normal right? But in all seriousness I need your help."
"You okay?"
"No I am going crazy Nate, I don't know what to do. Something in me is snapping and I cant control it any more. I am loosing myself to my blood lust" I replied tears flowing out of my eyes I fell to the floor trembling from the break down I was having.
"Blood lust? I am sorry but isn't that for vampires?" He asked helping me up to my feet and holding me trying to comfort me.
"Yea about that, I was bit by a vampire in a fight his blood didn't kill me like the stories say it would. I changed instead I am this hybrid half wolf and half vamp. I am slowly loosing control of it and I know we haven't been close as we use to but I need you" I whispered feeling the red slowly creep upon me.
"W-what do you want" Nate slowly responded as I slowly walked to him pinning him to a wall and whispering in his ear.
"I need your help to kill my dad. My pack won't allow me to and I know I am Alpha but when I am on my blood lust sprees I kinda loose my Alpha abilities. All mind links are blocked no one can enter my mind or get through to my wolf. I need someone who will help me get in that place. Its full of guards now since my out burst and I know you have every key in that building let me get to my daddy dearest and my mate oh how I want to see my beloved mate" I hissed. Nathan gulped and slowly nodded his head afraid if he said no I would kill him on the spot. We didn't say another word after that and he just led me to the back door and unlocked it for me as I followed him through the halls all my senses started to enhance and my mouth watered I wanted their blood.
"This is it. Sorry I cant go any further I am not allowed in. I was banned from Kol." He stated I quickly gave him a hug and thanked him. He gave me a small smile and wished me luck and walked back down the hall we came from. I listened carefully to find where my prey was.
"I am sorry for our Alpha, she has been fighting her inner battles lately. We will talk to her and try to open her eyes once again" Patrick spoke sadly.
"What she done was unforgivable she could have killed me. Know when I said you are not to see her its for her own good she needs her mate"
"I am sorry sir but she is MY girlfriend we are going to get married with or without your permission. We came to help out not to fight now I am not trying to start more problems but you will butt out of our relationship"
"Oh no I think you don't understand boy, you will be the one staying away from my daughter"
"And if I decide not to?"
"I'll kill you"
"Like hell you will" I ran to him pinning him to the floor, I heard screams and crying from everyone around us. This time Pat didn't stop me he stood there shocked to see me.
"I am doing this for your own good!"
"No you are not! Sorry dad but tell mom I said hi."
"She is dead what are you talking about?" He made the mistake of questioning me and I sunk my teeth into his neck he screamed and tried to fight me off but my thirst was more stronger. I stood up and threw my head back and licked my lips and evilly smirked.
"WHAT DID YOU JUST DO?" Kol shouted getting ready to try to fight me
"You done this to him Kol, you rejected the one thing that was going to keep me locked away for good. Thank you because of your hate and his she lost control and gave in to the darkness. I am Francesca her inner demon or what ever you call it these days. I made her who she is today and you killed the good that was left in her." I replied

"Patrick do you really think that is going to work? She is lost right now look at her she has just been staring at that same wall for hours. She is like possessed or something"
"You should have locked her up a long time ago"
"Maybe you shouldn't have been a dick and rejected her, you don't even know what she went through and what I had to do to bring her back"
"I done it for her own good. Do you think I wanted to reject her? I loved her I always did but it was for her own good"
