Rose waited outside her car.
She waited for him.
She waited until the bell rang.
And that's when she saw him.
He looked over.
He blinked.
He strolled her way.
"Get inside."
She motioned to the car.
He looked over his shoulder,
Staring at the crowded high schools,
Who raced out the main doors,
And gathered in their groups.
He then nodded at Rose,
And quickly slipped inside the passengers seat.
Rose sat behind the wheel.
She shut the door,
Sighed deeply,
And faced her enemy.
"I can't forgive you yet.
Understand that please.
You f**cking bastard ruined my life,
But perhaps over time....
A lot and lot of time.
It could take years even,
Before I can forgive you."
She blubbered on.
He nodded sadly.
"Rose..."
He whispered passionately.
"No, Brandon.
I don't love you anymore.
I can't love you.
It was long over."
She shook her head fiercely.
Her fists tightened, then loosened,
Tightened, then loosened.
"I know." He sighed in defeat.
They sat silently next to each other, neither had the guts to say anymore.
"I guess this is it." He mumbled finally.
She nodded.
"Believe me, I truly am sorry.
For everything."
He apologized.
Then, he swiftly exited her car,
And calmly walked away,
From her life,
And from her heart...
