Rose sat in the coffee shop.
She quietly gazed at the guest.
She pitied the girl.
She wanted to hug her,
To tell her it's alright.
But it wasn't alright.
The girl's best friend was dead.
"I found the note, or should I say notes on her bed a few days later." Rose sighed.
"There were piles of them. Hundreds."
"Suicide letters." Muttered Leslie.
"Suicide letters." Nodded Rose.
Both of them sat quietly as their coffee became forgotten and cold.
"If only I found the notes sooner...I could've saved her..." Rose wiped away a loose tear, clenching her fists afterwards.
"...but you didn't." Whispered Leslie.
"Yeah."
"I wish I had known..." The girl choked out.
"Me too."
