Upon walking in, I am overwhelmed!
Many scents, sights, and sounds of delighted people talking about the shop.
Plop! Plop!
Balls of dough get dropped into boiling oil until they are a nice, golden brown,
Being drenched in a sticky, clear, sweet glaze.
Others with small, rainbow colored candies, some with chocolate!
Friendly workers decorate these delicacies with splendid flavors and designs.
A young fellow comes up and asks which one I would like.
They’re all talking to me, saying,
“Pick me! Pick me!”
So many diverse flavors, fillings, shapes, toppings,
I can’t decide which one is best!
But in the end, I know there will be only one way to decide.
Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe.
