I could not take my eyes off the movie. Even while eating, I continued to stare at the screen in a trance. I can't believe I ate all the popcorn and honey barbecue chips we have. That's odd considering my sister eats more than me on a daily basis.

Anyway, that was the best movie I've seen in a while. Sure it's no Breaking Dawn, which some might be into, but I am not. I don't hate the Twilight saga, but I just don't like it either. I still don't understand the whole 'Teams' for Twilight like Team Edward or Team Jacob. How people can get so into books and movies is beyond me. I haven't seen a movie since mom died.. Until now, that is.

I don't care what people think! That movie was inspiring. It had everything in it. I mean everything. Could I start making a difference like Trevor did? He's only twelve, but he did so much to better people's lives. He just might be my role model.

Oh no, I'm starting to sound like my sister! Even if I do help make the world a better place I don't want to have to die like Trevor did...

"Earth to lol! Do you hear me?" Morgan said while prodding my side.

I jumped in response and glared.

"What?" I asked.

She was waiting for something. Then sighed and rolled her eyes.

"For Christ sake! How did you like the movie?"

"Oh. Yeah it was OK.." I said hesitantly. What would she say if she knew I actually loved that movie.

She gave me an almost invisible frown. Then got up from the couch and plainly said, "Ok."

She gathered up all the junk food lying around on the living room table then went to dispose it in the trash.

I looked down at my clothes noticing I was still in my clothes from last night. Then looked at the clock to see that it was 6 o'clock at night. Figures. I traveled from the spacious living room to my temporary room. My room had clothes scattered on the floor. My un made bed in the center of the room along with a closet. Light brown carpeting and white walls surrounded me and a window gave me a good view of my environment outside. Sure the room was a mess because of me, but it was everything I needed and more.

Way better than working on the street as a clown or being a hobo (or a homeless person as my sister corrects me) or something to that effect. I went and put on my Fox hoodie and a pair of jeans. Then while trying to find my shoes I searched my entire room. I made more of a mess of the room than I already had.

I went to look for them out in the kitchen when I heard the shower running. When I finally found my shoes under the table Emery was gnawing at my shoelaces. I smirked and pick Emery up. Emery always meows. Sometimes she sounds whiny like she is saying "Pet me now!" Other times it sounds like she is talking to you. That's what she sounded like now.

"Does my shoelace taste good?" I cooed. She answered me with a happy meow. I petted her a little while longer before putting her down. Why am I talking to a cat? Sure some people do, but still.

I threw on my Axion Heritage shoes and left a note on the table.

Dear Morgan,

Yes. I have my cell phone call me if you want, but do it after you read this message. I am going for a walk. Yes I know 'it's dangerous at night with all the druggies' etc etc. I'll be fine. I am just going to do something with my life or my health I should say. For once that is.

Sincerely with love and all that other crap,

Landon Otto Lawrence (but you already knew that)

Then I bolted out the door. Finally doing something feels nice. I can't tell you how many days I thought about running just for the hell of it. Luckily I was far from being chunky, but I wasn't a body builder or a marathon runner. As I ran past cars and people I waved. A few people waved back.

Running at night just felt right. I feel like I could do it forever instead of sitting on a fluffy couch for the rest of my life. Not that it did not sound like a relaxing idea. Yet, I feel like I'm missing something and I don't think it's a job. I am missing that too, unfortunately.

I took a detour in the park. It was actually nice this night, although it was kind of chilly out. So glad I had a hoodie on. I decided to stop running after thirty minutes to catch my breath.

How far had I ran? I looked behind me and realized civilization was a bit too far off for me to see. I must've zoned out pretty good. Just Fan-fucking-tastic. I can't believe there are woods around here. Half the time I've been around an almost city environment. There was some country side, but not too much. The area was in between being a rural and urban community.

I turned around and started running back, hoping to find my way to my sister's house. No I wasn't lost I just didn't know where I was going. Oh well, better suck it up and start running. After about ten minutes that seemed like hours my cell phone started to play Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana. Morgan was calling. I contemplated even answering as I clicked the talk button.

"Hello?" I asked trying to sound casual. Not like I was running around not knowing where I am. You think I'd know where I was, I lived here for a couple of years.

"Hey Landon where are you?" Morgan asked. Uh oh. She used my first name this must be serious. Ok think! Was it something you said? Something you did? Or something you forgot to do uh... Shoot did I forget to clean the bathroom again?

"Oh, just out for a walk like I told you." I paused seeing if she'd say something before asking, "Why? Didn't you get my note?"

She merely sighed. There was a long pause on the phone, so long I checked to see if she hung up on me.

Shit! What did I do?

"Hello?" I questioned. She is normally not like this. Is she on her period or has stupidity taken over my brain?

"I told you two days ago.. Our cousins are coming over for dinner.  They should be here in twenty minutes." I heard through the cell phone in my vise like hand, but it took awhile to register.

"Ok. I'll be home soon..Hopefully. Love you sis. Bye."

"Wait! What do you-"

I cut her off by hitting the end call button on my phone.

Maybe I should've asked which cousins.. Oh well its too late for that!

She didn't need to know I was lost like some kid in a store. Minus the crying for their parents' part. She tried to call me two more times, but I did not pick up. I couldn't lie to her and only her, period. Over the phone or in person did not matter. She'll hear this story another day.

When I finally made it to civilization I stopped running momentarily. Needing to catch my breath and trying not to make it too obvious. I really should run more often. C'mon I do not have Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis or something! That really long word is for lung cancer caused by breathing in volcanic ash and trust me I've stayed far way from any volcanoes. See I am not that dumb for a jobless guy!

Then not paying attention I ran into a woman and knocked over her and several grocery bags. She gave off a scream and I started picking up the groceries apologizing rapidly.

"Ma'am I'm so so sorry. Are you ok?"

She looked up at me with wondering chocolate eyes. Or rather wandering eyes. Her dyed hair looked almost singed and she reeked of smoke. She looked about in her mid thirties and wasn't dressed in Fall clothes. A tube dress and six inched heels has too be uncomfortable. It isn't Summer there is no reason to show that much skin. Oh god, again I sound like my sister.

She got up and ran her hand along my arm and her body got a little too close for my liking. I flinched noticeably and backed up a little feeling awkward. She chuckled trying to sound sexy and not succeeding in my eyes.

"Why thank you young man. The name is Angel and I think heaven has put us together so you can have a taste of paradise. Why don't you carry those bags on to my place and you can have all the sweets you can eat."

Something told me 'Angel' was far from what this woman really was.

"Um.. I am terribly sorry Angel, but I have to go. It was nice meeting you, but I have plans tonight."

Her disappointed face showed as I practically threw the bags into her arms. I started walking away at a pace worthy of a gold medal.

"Wait! At least tell me your name stranger. Don't be rude!" She called to me.

I don't know if I should have even answered, but I did.

" Otto!" I called back looking over my shoulder watching her as she stood where I left her. I gave her my middle name, yes, but it was still my name. A small smile fell upon her peachy lips.

"I'll remember. Maybe I'll see you again!"

I didn't even bother answering her. Honestly, I hope she did forget my name.

Did a prostitute just hit on me?

About thirty minutes later I arrived at my sisters’. Hopefully Morgan won't be too mad.. I wonder how my cousins have been. I also wondered why they are here. Wait, which cousins? Our family has a lot of.. well interesting people in it.  Oh well, I'll figure that out for myself at dinner.
