Y/n's P.O.V:
I woke up this time feeling rather sick, the room had an odd smell. V greeted me right then
V: Good morning Y/n! Today's a wonderful day isn't it?!
Y/n: Um okay. Why are you so happy today?
V: Oh nothing, I'm just happy because today fortunately for you it'll be a great one!
Y/n: Okay whatever you say
V was acting strange today, not because of the cheerful mood but the thought that there were no ligit reasons for being happy is what bothered me. I changed and had my breakfast, I'm usually early at school so it wasn't surprising to be one of the first few students to enter the class. Today my first class was with Jimin so I was quite happy, he probably is my only friend here so yeah.
Jimin: Good morning Y/n
Y/n: Good morning Jimin!
Jimin: Hey why does your eyes look like their being stressed?
Shit! I completely forgot I cried myself to sleep, I guess I was a bit tired
Y/n: Oh it's nothing. I'm just a bit stressed out
Jimin: Why? C'mon tell me!
Before I could reject the teacher appeared, he had a pale face on and looked rather sad about something
Teacher: Guys I have some bad news. *long sigh* if you all remember B/n well I just got news from the principal. He will not and a matter of fact never be joining us in class or anything. It's a sad story but you all must know that B/n is no longer in this world. I'm sorry to say but the police had found his body at his house covered in blood last night after a neighbour reported sounds of screaming. They said he committed suicide, it's quite sad and I'm sure you all are pretty devastated too. Well then let's put that a side and start the class shall we?
What? Even though I hated him it was pretty shocking to hear. Why would he kill himself anyway? I just had the worst feeling yet, and it totally distracted me during the class. I tried to forget the incident and get on with life, Jimin and I were going to hang during lunch again. It was nice to hang out with real people for a while and I think me and Jimin were becoming good friends too.
The next period too Jimin was in my class, we kind of sit together from now on
Teacher: Okay class that's it for now, I'm giving you guys an assignment and you'll be in groups. Of course I will be deciding the pairing
Oh god no! I wish I don't get stuck with someone horrible
Teacher: Yoona and Kris, Y/n and Jimin
Did I just hear that right? Yes! Thank god I'm with Jimin and no one else, I can just imagine what things would be like if I got paired with Sana or someone like that *sigh*
Jimin: I guess it's fate, where do you wanna do this?
Y/n: How about my place? My grandma would love to meet you!
Jimin: Oh, I didn't know you lived with your grandma
Y/n: Well I don't like to talk about it but, my parents died when I was really young. My grandmother raised me up ever since
Jimin: I'm so sorry, I-I didn't know
Y/n: It's okay, we haven't known each other for that long either
Jimin: Y/n if you don't mind, I would like to know more about you. Can we meet up sometime? Just you know hang out?
Y/n: Oh um I don't know, I guess we could
Jimin: Great but you can take your time to think about that, I won't pressure you. So we can start on the assignment on Sunday?
I nodded. Maybe I could hang out with him, it'll be a first but I'm sure V won't like it if I don't ask him first. It was the last period now and V was right, this day was pretty good. Sure it had its ups and downs but no one really bothered me, yet.
I had science class and someone gave our teacher the idea that outdoor study would be a great way for learning. So there we were standing on the field studying about insects. I didn't like any of the insects other than the butterflies, they were the prettiest and weren't scary or dangerous. We were doing this in groups and my group consisted of Taeyeon, Sehun and Vernon. They weren't all bad, I kind of got along with Taeyeon and Sehun but the Vernon guy gave me a bad feeling
Taeyeon: So you don't like bugs huh?
Y/n: They're scary, I just like butterflies that's all
Me and and Taeyeon were studying the white cabbage butterfly which was quite common in this area. Just then Vernon and Sehun called me
Vernon+Sehun: Hey Y/n!
Y/n: Yes?
They both had a sheepish smile and Vernon seemed to hide something
Y/n: What is it?
Vernon: You like butterflies right?
I nodded with an eyebrow raised
Vernon: Well then you'd love the baby one too!!
I screamed as Vernon threw a caterpillar on me, I fell on the ground shaking and tears on my eyes while the two buys laughed at me
Taeyeon: You guys, that was not nice at all!
Sehun: It was Vernon's idea!
Vernon: Oh my god!! You should have seen your face! It's too funny!
Y/n: YAH WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!!! You knew I hate insects and still?!!
Vernon: Hey I'm sorry but your face was too- Oh my god hahahaha!
I ran crying again, and I thought today would be such a fine day. Who am I kidding, things will never be good
Author's P.O.V:
You had left school early without notifying your teacher, Vernon was still laughing
Taeyeon: Yah! Vernon can't you just mind your own business?
Vernon: Why do you care? I can't help if she's a cry baby
Taeyeon stomped off leaving the two boys
Sehun: I guess you went a little too overboard
Vernon: Yeah well what is she gonna do? Tell on me?
Sehun: Dude why are you being such a jerk?
Vernon: I'll be whatever I want, or is it that you have a problem?
Sehun: Nope! No sir!
Vernon: Good. Anyway I'm going to apologise to her tomorrow with bubble tea
Sehun: Bubble tea!! I want it too!
Vernon: Sure sure, let's go school's over
You came home only to hug V in your arms
Y/n: Oh V, it was horrible!
V: Don't worry, tell me who did this
Y/n: I-it was t-this Vernon guy, he threw a caterpillar on me even when he knew I don't like insects.
V: Such a cowardly act can only be done by a jerk, I can't stand your pain, I will erase all that hurts you
You thought it was cute and thoughtful how he wanted to comfort you
Y/n: You're the only one who's there for me, we'll be together always
You smiled and wiped your face, what you didn't know the things that were happening behind your back. It was midnight with a full moon, you were sound asleep while V had already left your room and found tracks of his next victim.
Vernon was trying his best to sleep but couldn't, something or someone kept him fidgeting on his bed for hours now
Vernon: Why can't I sleep? Is it me or its hot in here?
He could barely stay still now, sweat dripping down his neck he sat up and noticed something odd about his room.
Vernon: That's strange, I remembered the window was open
He got up and opened it only to let in stormy gusts even when the sky was clear. He closed it immediately and fell back in surprise
Vernon: Woah what was that?!
Right then he could feel someone breathing behind him, he gulped and turned around to find a ragged doll smiling at him.
Vernon: What the? I don't remember having a doll-
Just then a sound of screaming echoed from downstairs
Vernon: What's going on here?
He forced himself to go downstairs only to find pure darkness. He walked slowly towards the kitchen where a loud sound banged causing him to crouch down. The sound of bullets echoed but Vernon gathered all his courage to go in. He went in to find a man holding a gun facing his back
Vernon: Dd-da-dad? W-whats g-going on? I heard s-something and, *gasp* M-mom? MOM!! W-what h-happened?!! Oh NO! Mom wake up!!! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?!!! OH MY GOD mom no! Please don't do this to me!! YOU MONSTER YOU-
He swallowed all that was going to come out as the man pointed the gun towards the terrified boy. The man's eyes showed no sign of life, his skin pale grey
Vernon: D-dad why? WHY DID YOU DO THIS?!!! HOW COULD YOU KILL YOUR OWN WIFE?!! Were things that BAD?!!
Before Vernon could finish the sound of the gunshot banged hard. He fell to the floor which was now a pool of blood, the last thing he saw was the same doll smiling. The man possessed by a disturbed soul ended up holding the gun on his head and falling just like the other unfortunate residents in the house. V had left the dying man's body and turned into his spirit self
V: I take my job very seriously
And with that he left the bodies rotting, he came back and returned to the doll's body. He smiled at your sleeping form
V: I promise you will never cry again, I love you Y/n
You were in your dream land and little did you know, your doll was committing crimes for your sake.
