IT'S FRIDAY YAY!

"Aw, look how cute they look!" squealed Cynthia.
Weiss rolled her eyes as Ruby joined in.
"I know! They are just adorable! They are perfect for each other!"
Weiss pinched the bridges of her nose as she let out a frustrated sigh.
"You guys mind telling me why we are stalking these two? Just let them have their lunch in peace!"
Ruby looked at Weiss and pouted.
"Aw, come on Weiss! You gotta admit that they look adorable together!"
Weiss looked over to where all the fuss was about.
There sat Blake on a bench as Yang was laying down on her side and was using Blake's lap as a pillow. Blake was using one hand to read a book and was using her other to affectionately scratch Yang's head. Yang looked as she was sleeping and looked happy.
Weiss had to admit that they did look adorable like that and she even felt a bit jealous as well.
Why can't Ruby and I do things like that? Am I really afraid of what will become of my reputation?
Weiss shook the thought out of her head and looked at Ruby then looked away as she tried to hide a small blush.
"I suppose that they do... Look cute..."
Ruby grinned.
"You know it's cute when you try to hide your blushes" Ruby got closer.
"I- I am not..." Weiss looked away trying to hide yet another blush but was failing miserably.
Ruby kept getting closer and closer as Weiss began to back up. Soon enough, she was back against a tree so she could no longer back away.
"Yes, yes you are" Ruby whispered softly in Weiss's ear.
Ruby used her thumb and index finger to lightly grip and move Weiss's chin so she could face her. Weiss's eyes widened as Ruby's lips came into contact with hers. She felt like her heart was melting, her stomach had butterflies, and she began to kiss back a little.
Cynthia just grinned widely at the site before her.
"So, the Ice Queen CAN be melted"
Weiss stiffened as she had remembered about Cynthia's existence, quickly broke the kiss, and looked away from embarrassment, blushing furiously.
"Way to ruin the moment Cyn" Ruby glared a bit at her.
Cynthia giggled.
"Sorry, It was cute I couldn't help it!" she winked.
Ruby shook her head and continued to look at the Bumbleby pair.
She smiled softly at the sight before her.
"I hope that things can continue to be the way that they are..."
Weiss looked at Ruby.
"Why is that?"
Ruby was silent as she watched Yang do Nora's signature "Boop" on Blake.
Blake shook her head but smiled softly. She put her book down knowing that Yang was asking for some attention. Yang sat up and whispered something in Blake's ear and Blake blushed furiously. Yang laughed at her for it and rubbed the back of her neck.
"It's moments like these that Yang was never able to have or cherish... I mean... Sure, she has us. But, before we met you guys she has had a tough time... I think Blake is the final piece of the puzzle that can fill the hole that was in Yang's life all this time..." Ruby continued to stare at the Bumbleby pair.
Weiss and Cynthia just stared at Ruby, amazed at her wise, kind words. Who knew the young teen could be so mature?
But they both smiled, happy with her answer.

"How long until you think that they notice that we know that they're there?" Blake asked.
Yang chuckled.
"It won't be long. I'm surprised that you didn't hear them. Aren't you suppose to have good hearing?"
Blake glared at her.
"I wasn't exactly trying to listen for anyone... But, yes. I should have heard them from the start. I guess I must have let my guard down..."
"Oh? Are you saying that you feel safe when you're with me?" Yang smirked.
Blake stiffened and blushed.
"Shut... Shut up..." she looked away.
Yang snickered.
"So..."
Blake looked at her.
"So?"
"I realized that... I don't really know a lot about you..."
Blake tilted her head to show her confusion.
"I mean like... I don't know where you're from or anything like that"
Blake looked away and was silent.
"Your guess is as good as mine..."
Yang's eyes widened.
"Wait... What do you mean?"
Blake looked at Yang but then showed a bit of hesitation. She opened her mouth to speak but Yang covered her mouth with her hand making her unable to say what she was going to say.
She looked at the bushes then at Blake again.
"You can tell me your story when you're ready. Plus, we have terribly hiding bystanders"
Blake nodded.
Yang removed her hand from Blake's mouth and scratched her cat ears.
Blake purred and rested her head on Yang's shoulder.
Her ears twitched.
"AW COME ON KISS ALREADY!" Ruby jumped out of the bushes yelling in frustration.
"Ruby, you dolt!" Weiss scolded her.
Ruby froze as she realized that she had revealed themselves.
Blake removed her head from Yang's shoulder and blushed. Yang just looked at her baby sister and grinned.
"Bout time. We were wondering when you were gonna come out"
"Crap..."
"Oh, guess we been spotted. Oh, no" Cynthia said sarcastically.
Weiss shook her head as she pinched the bridges of her nose.
"So, Yang. Are you and Blake gonna go to the dance?" Cynthia asked.
"Oh! That's right there's a dance this weekend. Weiss let's go!" Ruby said.
Weiss was going to tell Ruby that they should focus on their studies. But, as she looked at Ruby she saw those adorable puppy dog eyes that she couldn't resist. Once again she looked away to hide a blush.
"Well, I suppose it could be fun"
"YAY!" Ruby jumped with joy.
Yang chuckled.
"Well, I don't know if I'm going to the dance. But, Blake you should definitely go"
"Huh?"
"The dance. You should go"
Blake looked at Yang with a bit of confusion and hesitation.
"I'll... I'll go if... I'll go if you go..." she looked down.
"I think that's her way of asking you to go to the dance with her Yang" Cynthia winked.
Glints of pink showed on Yang's cheeks.
"Uh... Yeah... Sure, Blake. I'll go if you want me to. Plus, I was kinda planning on it anyway" Yang rubbed the back of her neck.
Blake nodded in confirmation.
"You know what this means right?" Cynthia said.
Everyone looked at her in confusion, waiting for an answer.
"Shopping" she grinned.
Yang and Ruby both groaned.
"Nooooooo! I hate shopping for fancy clothes!" Ruby pouted.
"Well, you aren't going to the dance looking like that" Weiss said.
"Why not?"
"It isn't formal"
"Why do we have to look formal though?" Yang joined in.
"Because it's homecoming!" Weiss gave a stern look.
"But I hate dresses! You know this!" Ruby shot back.
"Same" Yang said.
"Well, if you guys don't want to wear dresses then at least wear a Tux" Cynthia suggested.
Yang and Ruby looked at Cynthia and thought about the idea.
"I mean that's what I was planning on wearing from the start" Yang shrugged.
"I would rather wear that than a dress. Is that okay with you Weiss?" Ruby looked at Weiss for approval.
"Well, as long as it's something formal I don't care" Weiss rolled her eyes.
"Yes!" Ruby did an air fist bump.
"Well, I guess that settles then. Blake, you're coming with Weiss and I to look for a dress. Yang and Ruby will go shopping for Tux's" Cynthia smiled at Yang.
"Why do I have to buy one? I said I was PLANNING on wearing one. I never said that I would wear one. Why can't I just wear what I normally wear?" Yang groaned.
"Again, Yang. It's Homecoming. HOMECOMING. Do I need to spell it out for you?" Weiss growled, trying to control her temper.
"Homecoming isn't even that big of a deal though. I mean if it was Prom then that would be a different story. But, this isn't Prom, isn't it? It's Homecoming and I don't really see a reason to wear anything formal..." Yang put her hands behind her head and leaned back on the bench.
"Well, daddy- "
"Don't call me that" Yang Immediately shot daggers at Cynthia.
"I'm just messing with you, calm down" Cynthia chuckled.
"As I was saying. I think what Weiss was trying to say is, dress formal for Blake's sake"
"What?"
"I mean, it wouldn't be fair if Blake got a dress that made her look absolutely stunning if you wore something that didn't make you look as good by wearing a Tux or something similar to that. If you ask me I would be kinda insulted knowing the fact that even though I tried to look good for you, you didn't try to look good for me"
Yang sighed as she realized that Cynthia had a point.
"Fine" she simply said.
"Good" Weiss said.
"Speaking of Homecoming... Has the court been decided yet?" Ruby asked.
"It has" Weiss said.
"Do you know who they are?" Cynthia asked.
"Well, for freshman it's Mathew Goss and Taylor Lutz. Sophomores it's Antwone Flenning and Tori Henning. Juniors it's Manuel Mendez and Whitney Windgade. Last but not least for Seniors it's..."
Weiss got quiet.
"They are?..." Ruby said.
"Well, I guess you can say that we're with them right now" she simply said.
"Could you be more specific please?" Cynthia asked.
Weiss sighed.
"I know this won't make sense but... Yang and Blake"
.....
"Eh?"
"But I'm a Freshman... Wouldn't I be representing the Freshman?" Blake asked.
"Apparently, Ozpin... Made slight adjustments..."
"Well, I think it's cute. Congrats Blake, you deserve to be nominated for Homecoming court. I hope you and Yang win" Ruby said gleefully.
"So, I'm guessing that Yang was selected for the male part? I mean it makes sense after all" Cynthia said.
"Yes, Yang is basically representing as a male senior" Weiss confirmed.
"Why did people choose me though? I barely know anyone ..." Yang mumbled.
"As I recall, there was a time when we weren't here when you did something a bit brave in front of everyone in the cafeteria" Weiss smirked.
"If that is their reason for choosing me then that's stupid. That's not a good enough reason to choose someone to represent the Seniors Homecoming Court" Yang yawned.
"Why is that?" another voice that wasn't theirs said.
Everyone looked towards the sounds of the intruder.
Cynthia's eyes widened when she saw who it was.
Emily Harper...
Emily glanced at Cynthia quickly but looked back at Yang.
"Cynthia"
"Em..."
"If you really must know why you're a representative Yang it's because of me" she simply said.
"Why?"
"Believe it or not, Yang... You brought good into this school... And to others... When you stood up for Blake that day the Faunus Bullying dropped. I know that Blake is the only Faunus in this school but in the other schools that have Faunus that are near here have dropped" She looked at Blake and smiled.
"They dropped by 30% and believe it or not that's a lot"
Blake was shocked to hear this new information.
"You were chosen, Yang. Because you made a change and stood up for what was right. That is a good enough for any reason for you to be the Male Senior Representative"
Yang was quiet and just started at Emily.
"You're all idiot' she chuckled.
They looked at her, caught off guard.
"I never said I didn't want to be chosen. You guys sound like you're trying to stop me from resigning or something. I just simply wanted to know why I was chosen and I got the answer" she stretched.
"What about me?" Blake asked.
"Why am I representing the Seniors when I'm a Freshman?"
Emily scratched her head.
"Honestly I don't know... Ozpin was the one who made that choice. He didn't tell us his reasons but... But I'm sure they are very good ones"
Blake nodded.
"Alright, since Homecoming is in a couple of days then we should go shopping after school!" Ruby said.
"Right. Since Yang and Ruby are going to be wearing tuxes or something at least formal then Cynthia, Blake, Emily and I will go shopping for our dresses. Sound like a good enough plan?" Weiss said.
"I didn't know I was invited..." Emily said.
"You were automatically invited" Weiss grinned.
"So, sound like a plan Cynthia?" there was no answer.
"Cynthia?"
Cynthia wasn't responding.
She was staring at Emily.
"Helloooo? Earth to Cynthia!"
Cynthia jumped and broke her gaze from Emily and looked at Weiss.
"Yeah, sorry. I spaced out a bit. Sounds like a plan!" she smiled.
"Good"
"Alright, Rubes I guess we're going shopping" Yang stood up and stretched.
"Now?" Ruby asked.
"Yeah, now"
"Yang, you have classes and so does Ruby. You can not miss your classes" Weiss scolded.
"I don't care. If you want to stay here Ruby then you're welcomed to stay but I'm leaving. Plus, Ozpin won't mind with the grades that I have" she grinned.
"You never go to your classes but yet you have straight A's. I don't understand you" Weiss shook her head, rolling her eyes.
"Well, I'll see you guys later" Yang waved while walking away.
Ruby looked at Weiss.
"No"
"Can I please, Weiss? Yang is good at picking out attire believe it or not. I think she can help me find a really good Tux to wear!" Ruby used her puppy dog eyes.
Weiss blushed and cursed herself for witnessing it. She looked away.
"I- I suppose this one time..."
"THANK YOU, WEISS!" Ruby hugged the older girl.
"Come on Rubes or I'll leave you behind" Yang yelled as she got on her bike.
"COMING!" she yelled back.
"I'll make sure that we'll both look good when we're together. Hopefully, you'll reward me for the effort" Ruby whispered in Weiss's ear.
Weiss became flustered at the thought, blushing madly.
Ruby ran to Yang who was now putting on her helmet.
"Sorry Rubes I still haven't bought another helmet so you'll have to just hang on tight" she turned on her engine.
"I trust you, Yang. So it's fine"
Yang grinned and drove away to make their way to the mall or a store that sold formal wear.
Ruby held on to her sister tightly .
But as she held on she made a devilish smile.
Just as we planned...

I was hoping I could do the whole Homecoming Arc before my Homecoming but sadly I was too late. Oh well. Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter! What did ya think?
