5 months later.....

Phil's POV
"Come on Isabelle, crawl to daddy!" Dan said placing pieces of cereal on the floor as Isabelle sat on the rug facing Dan, her cute round hazel eyes watching Dan place small pieces of cereal on the floor in hope she'd crawl over to him.
I rolled my eyes and smirked.
"Oh for gods sakes Dan, she just started crawling. Don't push her too much." I told him as Dan sighed brushing his fringe out of his eyes.
"I know, she was just so adorable when she crawled to me for the first time. I just want her to do it again." He frowned slightly as I put down my mug of coffee and crouched down next to him.
"She just need some encouragement, not cereal! What is she a dog?" I asked him as he laughed slightly nudging my arm.
I couldn't believe Isabelle was now five months, her head was full of brown hair and her cute little eyes were now wide open, her beautiful little brown eyes were filled with happiness and cuteness.
Every time she smiled (which was a lot) it made my heart skip knowing that she was always happy whenever she heard me, Dan or Jess speak to her.
"Okay Sherlock, what do you suggest since apparently she's YOU'RE baby!" Dan laughed as I punched his arm as he protested in pain.
"Shut up, just watch." I told him as he rolled his eyes but smirked.
"Come here izzy, come to uncle Phil! Come on, crawl!" I smiled at her holding out my arms but she just stared at me like I was a complete idiot, Dan then started laughing.
"Wow, great encouragement." Dan said sarcastically and I groaned.
"She's broken!!" I protested and Dan scoffed getting better up and picking Isabelle of the ground as she babbled and made cute little noises.
"She's not broken, she's perfect." Dan said kissing her cheek lightly as I got back up.
"You're right, don't worry Dan. She'll crawl again when she's ready." I told him sympathetically and he sighed but nodded.
"Thanks Phil, I know. I just miss it, it was the cutest thing I've ever seen." Dan smiled at Isabelle who looked at Dan, smiling widely showing her bare gums.
"When do you think she'll start talking? I mean, she's said a few baby words but I mean properly." Dan asked me and I shrugged.
"I'm not sure, you'll have to ask Jess when she comes home." I told him and he nodded as Isabelle smiled up at me, wrapping her hand around my two fingers as they went red slightly from her squeezing them, but I didn't care. It was the most amazing feeling in the world.
"Hold her for a minute while I get her bottle ready please, Phil." Dan said as he handed her to me and I bounced her slightly.
"Don't drop her Mr clumsy oaf!" Dan said and I rolled my eyes but laughed slightly as Dan walked out of the living room.
"Whenever I'm alone, or if I'm feeling grey. There's one place I can go, to brighten up my day........" I sang quietly to Isabelle as I bounced her slightly as she giggled.
"NO PHIL!!!!" Dan shouted from the kitchen as I laughed slightly, he always hated when I sang the Internet is here song to her. But I didn't care, she liked it and smiled or laughed every time she heard it.
If I could bottle her cute little giggle I would, it was the most precious thing I've ever heard.
"Hi five! Come on izzy, hi five!" I said as Isabelle giggled hitting the palm of my hand as I cheered picking her up rocking her slightly.
"Woah woah! Phil, careful I just fed her I don't want her being sick over her dress or you're clothes." Dan warned as I handed her back to Dan and he kissed her little nose.
"Yeah I don't really want baby sick all over me today, not after the incident at the park." I said shaking my head as Dan laughed slightly.
"It's you're fault! You gave her a blue slushy, what kind of person feeds a five month baby a slushy!?" Dan proclaimed as I scoffed and rolled my eyes.
"She asked for it, plus; it made her little tongue go blue." I said smiling as Dan rolled his eyes but laughed slightly as he sat Isabelle on his knee, bouncing her up and down lightly as she laughed.
The door unlocked, knowing that Jess was know home.
"DAN? PHIL?" Jess called out she sounded out of breath and tired.
"IN HERE!" Dan yelled out as Jess walked into the living room.
Her face was flustered and she looked out of breath as she wiped her forehead with the back of her hand.
"Jesus, did you run there and back?!" I asked and Jess chuckled.
"No, I was carrying the pram up the stairs because it was left downstairs." She breathed out.
Dan's eyes widened, "Why didn't you tell me, I could have helped you." Dan asked and Jess shook her head.
"It's fine Dan really. You can be so sweet, but I got this. Really, don't worry about me." Jess said smiling putting down her purse and walked over to Isabelle.
"Hello princess, mummy missed you." She cooed picking her up and kissed her cheek.
"Was she okay? She wasn't too much trouble was she?" Jess asked and Dan shook his head grinning.
"She was as good as gold, I haven't changed her yet so she might need to be." Dan said as Jess nodded.
"Okay I'll do that, has she crawled again yet?" Jess asked and Isabelle started babbling and talking gibberish which made us chuckle.
"No but Dan put out cereal in front of her trying to make her walk, it's like the scene from monsters inc where he put cereal on the ground to get the little girl to go to certain places." I said laughing and Dan nudged my shoulder as Jess laughed placing her hand on her hip.
"Dan! I told you about that, don't force a child to do things." Jess said smirking and walked out scuffing Dan's hair as she giggled and Dan groaned in annoyance.
"You still love her don't you?" I asked him, frowning slightly looking down at the floor.
Dan's leg bounced up and down as he sighed twiddling his thumbs.
"Yes, I do. But what can I do Phil!? I can't be with Jess because of her father and I don't want us to be together just because we have a baby." Dan sighed and I patted his leg in sympathy.
"I know, but you need to tell Jess how you feel. I know she feels the same way, just be honest with her." I told him and he sighed slumping back.
"Not yet, but I will." He sighed and I nodded.
Jess re-entered holding a baby monitor.
"She's asleep, she'll be out for a while since she was up all night last night." Jess said huffing and slumped back into the sofa.
"So what were you guys talking about while I was gone?" She asked smiling.
"Just our latest videos." Dan said as I smirked at him and he shot me an evil look.
"Oh yeah, I loved the newest sim video. It's so adorable." Jess giggled and I nodded awkwardly.
"So how was shopping in town today................"
We talked for a while and we decided to be lazy and order pizza while Isabelle was still fast asleep.
".........but then, I turned to Poppy and said; joey told me it was meant to be on Tuesday instead of Monday." Jess stated and Dan gave her a confused look.
"Which one was joey?" Dan asked and Jess rolled her eyes and groaned but smiled pushing Dan slightly with her foot.
Jess's face softened and she looked down at the floor and frowned.
"You okay Jess?" I asked and she nodded putting down a slice of pizza.
"Yeah, I just........." She trailed off and Dan gave her a concerned look.
"Just what?" Dan asked as she sighed biting her lip.
"I need to tell you guys something." She said as me and Dan looked at each other but turned back to Jess.
"I found a house, it's about ten minutes away. It's near a local school, it's a really good school and the neighbourhood is really safe and nice." She said quietly and Dan's face dropped and looked down at the table.
"That's great, when do you leave?" Dan asked and Jess sighed.
"In two weeks. I'm so sorry, but if I didn't move in by then I'd loose it. I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner." She said sadly and Dan rubbed her arm.
"It's okay, I'm happy for you. Well try and help as best we can. Do you have furniture and stuff for Isabelle?" Dan asked and she nodded.
"I ordered everything we need, and the sofas and stuff are from Oliver's old house that he's giving to me." She said and Dan nodded.
"Dan, you can come and see her anytime you want. You can have Isabelle on the weekends, but you can one hundred percent see her!" Jess reassured Dan and he forced a smile and nodded.
"Thank you, do you want the stuff from the baby room?" Dan asked and Jess shook her head rapidly.
"No, no thank you. I have everything." She said smiling and Dan nodded as he pulled her into a hug.
"Than you Dan, thank you too Phil. You guys have helped me with so much and I'm so grateful." Jess smiled at both of us.
"Of course, we'll always here for you." I told her and she hugged me tightly.
"Thank you both, I'm going to miss you both." She admitted sadly and Dan looked upset but forced a smile.
"We will too, right Phil?" Dan said his voice slightly croaky.
"Of course, we'll miss both of you." I said sadly twiddling my thumbs together but forced a smile but but my lip trying not to look upset.

Two weeks went by fast. Too fast.
We'd helped Jess with boxes and moving things around and now the day was here when she and little izzy will move into their new house, Dan looked extremely upset and had his arms folded trying not to look upset, but I know his heart was broken.
Jess out one last box inside of the taxi as she held Isabelle with her free hand, sitting on her waist.
"Guys, thank you so so much for everything. We'll miss you, but I'll call you as soon as we get there. And remember, Isabelle's coming to stay on Friday I'll drop her off." Jess said and I nodded and Dan forced a tiny smile.
"We'll miss you too." Dan said and Jess's eyes became blurry with tears and hugged me tightly kissing my cheek.
"Thank you for everything Phil, we'll see you Friday." Jess said and I took Isabelle and hugged her, kissing her tiny forehead.
"It's okay Jess, we'll see you then. Bye bye izzy, uncle Phil will miss you." I cooed to Isabelle as she grabbed my glasses which made me laugh as Jess removed her tiny hand from my face.
"Dan I-" Dan interrupted her but hugging her tightly and kissing her nose.
"I'll miss you, both of you." He admitted and Jess sighed kissing his chin.
"I will too." She croaked out as she handed Isabelle to Dan and he hugged her gently kissing her tiny cheek multiple times.
"Daddy loves you honey, I'll be thinking of you always." He whispered to Isabelle as she smiled at Dan pointing at him.
"Dada!" She squealed out pointing her tiny finger at Dan.
My heart stopped, and my hands clasped to my mouth.
She just spoke!!!? She said her first words!?
"She spoke!!!?" Dan said shocked as Jess's mouth was wide open in shock and put my hand to her mouth.
"She said 'dada!!?' Jess breathed out and Dan hugged Jess while holding Isabelle.
"I can't believe it!!? She called you dad!!!" I cheered and Dan rubbed his face as his eyes where widened with shock and excitement.
"I'm so so so proud of you baby girl!" Dan said kissing her little head.
It's like she knew that things were changing and she wanted to let Dan know she loves him.
And you know what. I think she did.
Walking back into an empty apartment was emotional enough, now that Isabelle spoke for the first time is even more emotional and heart breaking.
I saw Dan sitting on the floor in Isabelle's room leaning against her cot, holding a little rattle toy that I brought her when she was born.
"Are you okay bud?" I asked sitting next to him and he shook his head.
"I miss her, she said 'dada'. My name, she spoke and I feel so emotional and overwhelmed." He admitted and I put my arm around him in comfort and sighed.
"We'll see her again, she's coming on Friday. Everything's fine, everything will be okay. I promise." I told him and he looked at me forcing a smile.
"You're a good friend Phil." He smiled at me and looked down at the floor and I stared at the wall as we sat in icy silence.
This life is confusing in so many ways, but this one is by far the hardest I've ever experienced. I can't even describe what Dan is feeling.
Heartbreak, emotional, confused, upset, angry?
I honestly can't tell.
After everything we've been trough so far, were ready for anything that hits us.
