Hey there! If you're reading this book, then you probably want to know more about potatoes. And if you are one of those people who thinks a potato is a small, brown, shapeless lump of whatever that grows in the dirt, well YOU'RE WRONG!
First of all, potatoes do grow in dirt, but, the dirt is a special kind of dirt called Rainbow Soil that is watered by unicorn urine and the potatoes grown there are fertilized with a special kind of unicorn feces. Potatoes are each born with different faces and 2 eyes, unlike their impostor cousins.

The "wrong" potatoes were originally made to look like the real ones (except with ears and whiskers; they were called meowtatoes), but when a meteorite hit the earth in -1 B.C. it struck the meowtatoes. Because of their adorable cuteness, a rainbow force field would've been created to protect them from harm, but the meteorite also contained tiny organisms called Bubbas. The Bubbas ate the force field and the meteorite crashed down, sucking all the cuteness out of the meowtatoes and turning them into the shapeless, lumpy things we have today, or more commonly known as the potato.
Disclaimer: these facts are NOT REAL!!! I simply am bored out of my mind, bored enough to make ridiculous stories about potatoes. Got it?
