I walked in the house and all ready could hear Nina screaming.
She ran down the stairs and hugged me "Daddy Teo"
She had on eye liner lipstick and a bit of concealer, i knew my makeup
"Hey Hyper where's mom" i asked picking her up and walking in the kitchen
"At her job picking up something" she reached for the cookie jar i pulled it away from her the last thing she need was candy
I'm so surprised that she was here alone Ny would never ever leave her here alone especially after what happened
"Whos here with you?" i said taking a cookie for myself
"Auntie Jade"
"Oh where she at"

"Cookie please" she asked reaching for my cookie then taking it and running
I chased her and she ran into the guest door opening it. Jade was in there putting her hair up.
The first thing I noticed is that she has a bump on her stomach like she is really really pregnant and i never knew Jade as letting herself go and getting fat but I'm not going to say nothing.
"She went to pick up her laptop she left it at work" she mumbled through a bobby pin between her lips
I scratched my head "When you get here?"
"Last night, my dad kicked me out" she put the bobby pin through her pony tail and pulled down her shirt
"Not that its my business but are you pregnant" she frowned
"Are you calling me fat? You better be lucky i am" she said punching me in the arm
"What pregnant or fat" she laughed and started to chased me through the house
She is losing breathe on every step. I didn't stop thou, i looked back and i ran into something and heard a big crash
"MATEO GOD DAMN IT" Ny' Ome screamed picking up her computer that her dad sent her when she was 13, she is crying "Bae you broke it" I frowned and tried to pick it up

She sighed "Its okay, why are you running" she wrapped her arms around my neck and pecked my lips
"I was fooling around my bad, i know a guy that can fix it" i was felt so bad, she put her hand up and waved me off
"Its okay I'm glad your home" she put the computer in a bag and put under our dining room table
"I'm glad too"
Nina came running interrupting our kiss "She's having the baby on the floor" she pulled my arm and ny ran past me
I knew enough to stay down here i never saw a birth before

I ran to the guest room she had two hands on the dresser and breathed hard her hair is all sweated out and her face is red as a apple. She reminded me of myself going into labor with Nina.
I ran to her and supported her back "Are you okay, Jade" i started to rub her hand, she nodded and filled her checks with air.
"Is it supposed to hurt like this"
"Afraid so, lets get you in bed" i said helping her to her bed
"Oww" she whispered I tucked her in and picked up Nina
"Want some McDonalds or anything to eat?" she shoke her head " Call me if you need anything were getting food" i pointed to the house phone beside her and left

"Okay just act yourself and tell us how you wanna win the pageant" the camera woman said to Nina while fixing her shirt
It was our third day of acting for 'T nd T's' and tomorrow is the pageant. We had to be on a plane to Texas by five in the morning, we all are beyond tired.
"My name is Nina and I'm five and I'm gonna rock that stage" she got up from the chair and started to milly rock "my coach miss Keisha taught me that she said I cant do it on stage thou" she got back into the chair and fixed her hair "I'm gonna win a tiara and beat the other girls"
They put me on the chair next, i had to talk about Nina and stuff
"This is Nina's fifth pageant we started two months ago cause so many people suggested it" i laughed "They say oh Nina's so cute and i should put her in a pageant at first i thought a two year old with ADHD on stage oh no I'm good" i smiled at Nina "But i never would of thought she'd win the highest title the first time"
After that they wanted to follow us around with cameras like we've been doing for the past couple days. They thinkin Nina is not acting herself but I told them she's always this crazy.
The doorbell rang abs Nina ran to the window.
"GRANDMA HERE" Nina yelled I ran to hug my mom, she was holding a envelope.
I looked at her hand "Whats that mom?" she handed it to me and i opened it on my way to the kitchen
She followed "Its from your father" I stopped in my tracks and so did Nina and Teo, who was play fighting

I thought my real father was dead all these years. Okay here's a little background about the subject. When i was five my mom and father had a big argument because he got a girl pregnant when i was three. His name was Melvin and he was bipolar and had multiple personalities. His mom left him when she was a baby so my mom basically raised him when i got old enough my mom started going back to work and she left him with me and we played games. Meanwhile my dad was MIA, one day we got the call that he was gone. He died in a plane crash and they toke Melvin which was a relive my mom and me moved to america with the help of my step dad, after all that and never got to go to the funeral. The guy i saw in heaven was my step father he lived me more (my mom has a thing for Chinese men). I would never consider him my father only a sperm donor
"He's alive and in america he wants to see you" she grabbed my arm to comfort me i pulled away
"Nothing against you but i need space" i marched up stairs to my bathroom and shut the door behind me
I deiced i would open the note.

I know how this sounds but I'm alive. I'm reaching out to you not only cause i love you but also because I'm dying and i need to see you. The reason why i did not reach out sooner because i fell into a bad situation and i didn't want you nor your mom to be apart. I know your English has progressed like mines but you can't for get 사랑해 (i love you). Your my only daughter and my little princess. I would love to here from you I'm stay at the Right way hospital and I'm expecting you. I only have four days. Even if you don't come i wrote you in my will.

I forgot all about the fucking spare key, i could've really just grabbed it. I couldn't hold back my laugh but i didn't let him hear it. A few seconds later the door knob twisted and he walked in. I just handed him the envelope

"Ny'Ome baby make sure you get all your shoes" my mom said stuffing her thing in a bag
"What about my princess bed?" i knew i was getting annoying but i didn't expect my mom to cry when i said this
"Your fathers gone baby" she sat on my bed and hugged me tight

"Are you going to see him" i nodded my head
"I gotta see him" i wiped my eyes "He's in Texas only a couple minutes away from the pageant, I visit him after" i shrugged and walked out the bathroom
"I think that a great idea you should take Nina too she deserves to see her grandpa"
I shrugged "Maybe"
"Okay meanwhile a plane is waiting for us"

"Howwdyyyyy" I scolded Teo and Nina, Nina was so happy we just got off the plane and went straight to the mall
"Y'all better stop before these white folks shoot our black asses" Nina busted out laughing
"We all light skinned we good and blending in" Teo popped his fake collar and picked up Nina
"You got a point there oouuu look shoes" i said running over to a store called 'Gorjuss' which was the country Forever 21 I'm guessing.
They had stuff for kids to, so i had Nina puck herself up a couple out fits and put them on Teo's arm while i did the same.
"Ugh baby you didnt even try these things on yet" Teo put the stuff on his shoulder and whined
I flipped through some shirts" i know what size fits me imma model"
I could tell he highkey was hungry, thats what we came from.
I placed my hand under his chin "Lets check this out and then get you a outfit after we eat" he nodded
"Nina come on. Is these all 3ts? " she nodded
If its anything my baby know how to do its shop she know her shoe size and all that.
She got all red shirts." You a blood nah" she glared at Teo then shook her head

"Cause she know what it is" Teo toke a bags from my hands and we made our way to the food court
All you could smell was chicken and grease. I didn't really mind and it didn't look like Teo or Nina did either they fat asses was hungry.
"Nina what you wanna eat? " i lookee down at her
She shrugged "Its doesn't matter everything smells like chicken" she looked over to the side and pointed to something she pulled me right away
"What are you pulling me for" she paid me no attention she kept pulling then i saw it
"KITTENS" she squealed
I shook my head "No you know daddy is allergic to them" she shrugged and kept walking there was about seven rabbits in a cage all red eyes. She looked at me, I shook my head fast as fuck. " This no nit a no its a hell no" i pointed to my face
I'm so so scared of rabbits, bunny's are okay but i hate rabbits.
"Mommmy i want a pet" she whined, i saw the temper tantrum in her eyes she was not about to embarrass me
"Okay Okay dont start your shit" i pulled her head to my hip and we walked in the pet store

"To the Right way hospital" I said tapping the Uber driver
We made a sharp turn and parked right in front of a hospital.
"Remember Car rentals, Pharmacy for meds, Dress pick up, Hotel then ill call you when we ready" i picked up Nina's car seat and kissed him

"Okay Dora" i mocked shutting the door
We made our way to the lobby and Ihad Nina car seat in my arms and her holding my hand.
"Mum who are we seeing again"
"Your grandfather" we stood in front of a young girl with long brown hair
"Hello ma'am we are here to see Romeo Evans?"
She eyed me and typed in her computer "Ny'Ome Evans?" she put on a smile and typed again "This floor room 21" i nodded
I pulled Nina towards the room on the first floor.
