I didn't know I could become invisible. When I was younger, in class I would sometimes sneeze. My teacher would turn around from the board and look at where I was sitting. She would say, "Where is Gryffin?" The whole class would turn to look at me and wonder the same thing. I-being an introverted person-never said anything while no one could see me. They would all turn around again and go about their business. I sneezed again. When the teacher turned around again, I was back in my seat.

I didn't think anything of it until my junior year of high school. I was sitting in a park with my best friend, Jess. We were talking about our theory that ducks are going to take over the world when I sneezed.
"Gryff," she said,"where'd you go?"
"What are you talking about, Jess? I'm right here."
"While you were there one second," I sneezed again," And now you're back. That was weird."
"Very."

The next day was mid-terms. I was sitting in my Spanish classroom when the two agents from the Area Capital came in. The were about 6' 6" and wore fancy suits. They seriously looked like the guys from the Men in Black movies, sunglasses and all.
"Can we see Gryffin Liam Clarkson?" The first man said to my Spanish teacher.
"O-of c-course you c-can, s-sir." My teacher said, looking scared to death.
I slowly stood up and walked out the door with the two men. When we were out of view of the classroom door and it had fully closed, they started to speak in hushed voices. "We are from a secret branch of the Government in charge of researching strange behaviors in humans and animals," the second man said.
"We were told by an anonymous source that you are able to become invisible. I apologize, but you must come with us for further testing of this skill," the first man said. I wasn't sure what was going on, but I knew one thing for sure: everything was about to change.
