The lovely red rose

in my garden, a single rose blooms. It is as red as a ruby, beautiful like a jewel. Its beauty amazes me as the dew slides down its marvelous petals and the golden sun shines upon it. As beautiful as it is, predators fear it. The rose defends itself with its thorns, which act like guards protecting their queen. no matter what they do, bite, scratch, pick up, a drop of blood pours down from the pain it caused itself for being so foolish. Oh lovely Rose, how i love thee.
