I woke up, but my eyes were still closed as I laid there unmoving trying to fake sleep I heard the faint moving of footsteps back and forth
"Mommy, Tor not coming to school with us? , she's not waking up"
"Why are you asking me if she's not waking up I'm not her"
I still laid there waiting for her to ask what I'm going to do I've got the answer all figured out
But.... She never did
Instead I heard
"Kelly let's go!"
I heard her grab the keys and left
She's locking me in here what the flying fuxk
Seconds later I heard her walk back in the keys jingled proving she set them down, slammed the door and left... For good this time
The tears then streamed down my face when it came to realization that she actually left without saying a word
so this is what feeling unwanted is like

I rolled out of bed, wiped my eyes and quickly searched for the paper with all my phone numbers I got before my phone got trashed
I found the number I was looking for my other aunt.
I quickly dialled the number
"Hello"she answered on the second ring
"Hello?"
"Its Tor" I said
"Oh hey, I was wondering whose number this is, I finally got Brenda's number so what's up?"
"She doesn't want me to work for her anymore" my voice getting heavier with each word
"She says I'm too soft"

Laughing lightly she said

"No today is my day off remember I have Tuesdays and Wednesdays off"
"Oh I forgot can I come stay with you later?"

I hung up the phone and took up the newspaper article with employment opportunities

Why do I need to call back in ten when I already have a paper and pen in front of me?

I called the number
Hey I can do that
"Hello?"
"Is this the place that needs an office attendant?"
"Yes do you have any experience"
"Uh, no... But am well rounded and I can adapt"

"Ugh! If company or organizations don't give us experience how are we supposed to have it when every place I call won't give me a chance!" With that said I ended the call irritated and started digging in the fridge for something edible

I grabbed some yogurt and started eating, remembering the previous place I called said to call back I quickly dialled the number hoping for a change
"Hello? You told me to call back a couple minutes ago"
"OK do you have the pen and paper?"

"OK my name is Kay, do you know where Tavares Gardens is?"

"Yes"
"OK its located behind the plaza downtown, interviews at 4pm today bring your resume and high school diploma also you need to bring one hundred dollars for registration"

After the call I dialled my sister's number to tell ask her about the call that I just made about a job
With the little dignity I had left going down the drain
I called three times but they all went to voicemail

Probably ignoring the disappointments call...
So with the little dignity left I called my aunt
"Hello" we both answered at the same time
"So I was going through newspaper articles for vacancies, do you know where Tavares Garden is? The lady on the phone said that I should come prepared to work"
"Yeah I know where it is but that sounds like an agency because I mean you can't just call and get a job, you'll probably even have to take a test and pay them and chances are you won't even get the job"
"Oh because I was thinking that was kinda weird"
"Yes trust me I've been through it when I was looking for a job normally you send out resumes and stuff and wait for them to call you and from there you go to interviews and so on."
"Oh well I have sent out resumes but I haven't heard back"
"Yea they may take a while to get back to you"
"Oh okay well I'm going to get ready see you soon"
I went into the bathroom and started playing music on my little cousins nabi took off my clothes and went into the shower

Pausing from my moment singing in the shower I heard the telephone start to ring
Dang it why did have to be as I stepped in the shower errr
Wrapping a towel around me I turned off the pipes and stepped out and into the bedroom
Stupid phone stopped ringing
Heading back in the shower I slipped and fell, when I got up my were sore, I cursed under my breath ugh!
Twenty minutes later I was putting on my clothes the phone started ringing
"Hello?"
"Did you call me?"
No
"Yes, I wanted to ask you something"
"So you don't want to ask me again?" She said clearly irritated
"No"
Should I tell her I'm leaving?
"I'm g-"

I was going to tell her I'm leaving
That I'm going to her sister I don't think she'll care how long I'm there I'll just drop off her keys at the school
I went to the bathroom again brushed my teeth and applied lipstick along with lip gloss
Lining my eyebrows and applying some mascara I packed my bags and headed for my sisters school
Taking the bus was very uncomfortable seeing that they were plenty school children there
"Hey stop looking at me! You ugly b*ch"
A mentally ill person said while I walked past with greater speed than before, I hated walking to get to her school but if I take a bus to get there I won't have enough to take the bus to my aunts house and I won't ask her for money to get there.
Approaching the big metal gates large crowds of students gathered in there cliques both inside and beyond the gates seeing as school had just come to an end
"How can I help you" the security guard ask
"I'm here to see my sister, Ms Schylock"
"Is she expecting you?"
"Yes"
Nothing else said I walked through the gates heading straight ahead for my sister's class
The smell of pencils and stale food slapped me in the face upon entering the noisy classroom all heads turning as I stepped in
Extra lessons...
Seeing as only a few pupils were in the class I figured she was teaching extra lessons, not wanting to interrupt I sat and waited until she finished the topic
When concluded I got up and fished the keys out my knapsack handing them to her
"I'm going over Angela" I said my voice breaking
Be strong don't crack under her piercing stare
Taking the keys she said Angela said she'll call you when its okay for you to leave because she left the house not too long ago
I guess Angela notified her before I did.
I need to purchase a cellphone.
F*ck I'll have to stay here until she calls that's just great!😑
