timeless girl, unexplainable eyes;

i once saw a rose continue to bloom in complete darkness,
void of sunlight or water or hope,
and it goddamn made me fall in love.

six years of falling didn't let me hit the ground.
(i am still falling.)

if anyone asked me to describe her,
i'd tell them about the hairpin curve of her smile
and her princess braid
and the way she always used to overflow with lively vibes
and the way she was the only real thing in a word full of illusions, and -

- how does one even describe a miracle?

miracles are hard to forget.
i captured you in my mind like the clicking of a camera
over and over and over again.

playing an audio tape in repetition ruins it's quality.
trying to remember your face blurred the image of you in my mind.

the camera showing me crystal images now turned into a faded polaroid, and-
{father forgive me for I have sinned}

- and I cannot picture you anymore.

(but somehow, I'm still falling.)

COVER AT THE TOP BY @abhayaveluru THANK YOU IT LOOKS GORGEOUS.
