Randhir came back home.
Usually he finds Sanyukta in living area in evening
"Where is Sanyukta, Maasa?" Randhir asked on not finding her
"She is in room Randhir" "She is sleeping..." "Even skipped her food..." Renuka informed
"Why?" "I mean skipping food is not good" Randhir said
"I went to her in afternoon" "But she was in deep slumber" "Even in evening I took badam milk for her...but she didn't had it..." Renuka said
"I'll see..." He rushed to the room and found Sanyukta siting idle on bed
She was lost in deep thoughts.
"Jaaaan..." He sat in front of her
"Sanyukta..." He called her again and she came out her thoughts
"Haan..Randhir...when did you came?" She asked
"Are you fine Jaaan?" He cupped her face
"Yeah..." She forced a smile on her face
"Why did you skipped your meal?" "You were in room for entire day...sleeping" "Whats wrong Sanyukta?" "Ain't you feeling well?" He asked
"Randhir...I was not hungry...I didn't feel like eating" "I had little more breakfast in the morning...so..my tummy was full" "And...had a little headache...so...was sleeping for whole day" She lied
"Hmm..." He replied blankly knowing she is clearing lieing to him
After sometime SanDhir got down for dinner.
Raghuvir was waiting for them to join in.
They had dinner together.
"Randhir...Sanyukta...I need to talk to you" Raghuvir said
"Sure...Dadasa" Randhir said and SanDhir joined him in living area post lunch
"Randhir...have a look at this" Raghuvir handed him a file
"What is this Dadasa?" Randhir asked
"Hmm...its a gift from me to my great grandchild" Raghuvir said
"I have transferred our land and some properties in my grandchild's name" "Shekhawat's heir deserve it..." "I know you've already started planning for your baby but its token of love from me " Raghuvir said
"But Dadasa...This all i mean....I want to give my child a normal life" Randhir said
"Ofcourse...but who know how much I will live...so I want to ...'
"Dadasa please don't stay this..." Randhir stopped him immediately
"My prince ..." Raghuvir hugged him
"Dadasa...you are gonna live long okay..." Randhir said and broke the hug
"I want yours and Sanyukta's sign in this papers" Raghuvir said
"Sure..." Randhir signed it and gave the file to Sanyukta to sign
She thought for a while.
"Shekhawat's heir..." The word was ringing in her ear and head
"Sanyukta...sign it" Randhir said
"hmmm..."
She signed the papers
Later that night
Sanyukta hardly exchanged words with Randhir.
Randhir knew something is troubling her but he thought of giving her time.
Sanyukta could hardly sleep that night.
Randhir had his hand kept on her belly which gave a bit relief from her thoughts.
Finally she caught some sleep in early morning.
Next Morning
Sanyukta was still sleeping while Randhir got ready for office
"I need to talk to her" "There is something bothering her" "I can see in her eyes..." "But what exactly happened?" "Her reports are normal everything is fine...then what's troubling her" Randhir thought
Soon he saw her getting up slowly.
"Morning..." He wished her
"Morning" She replied and slowly got off from bed.
She grabbed her towel and clothes and dashed inside washroom.
"Its not normal..." He thought
Sanyukta splash some water on her face.
She looked at her image in mirror.
She caressed her baby bump for while.
One can see fear and tension on her face.
She came out and silently stood in front of mirror.
She combed her hair and tied them in lose pony tail
She wore mangalsutra around her neck and decorated her partings with pinch of vermillion.
Randhir was looking at her.
She wasn't smiling or looked happy.
She looked disturbed,lost,tensed,worried.
"Sanyukta..." He called her to seek her attention.
"Hhmm...you want something?" She turned around
"Yes...your smile,happiness...." "Whats wrong Sanyukta?" "I know something is wrong...something is bothering you" He went to her
"No Randhir...nothing...I am fine...I told you I had headache last night..." She said
"That was last night...but what about today?" He asked
"No ....nothing..." She said
"Okay...I won't force you" "Whenever you feel like sharing it with me...just give me a call" "But don't let this thing affect our child and your health" He ssaid
"Hmmm..." She replied
"Lets go down...everyone must be waiting for us for breakfast" He said
They got down.
Servents served them with breakfast.
"Sanyukta...eat beta" Renuka insisted
"Yes Maasa..." She looked down and concentrated on food
Randhir was getting worried for her now.
This is not so normal behaviour of Sanyukta.
Once he was done with breakfast he informed his subordinates to handle all the work for the day as he would be unavailable.
Morning turned into afternoon while he was busy in noticing her and her actions.
She got up and was about to get inside washroom just when her leg slipped and she was about to collapse when a strong a strong pair of arms saved her from falling down.
"Where are you Sanyukta?" "Where are you lost?" He held her shoulders
"What?" "Whats bothering you?" "Do you even imagine what could have happen sometime before...Ha..." "What happened Sanyukta?" He made her sit on bed
Sanyukta was afraid.
Her leg just slipped from the doormate.
She could have fallen down and...her baby
She started crying.
"What happened Jaaan?" He cupped her face
"Tell me Jaaan...whats troubling you" "Since yesterday you are like this" "What happened tell me..." He said with concern
"I am worried for you...tell me Sanyukta" "Tell me dammit..." He kinda shouted
"Ra-Randhir...I...am scared" She fumbled
"Scared of what?" He asked
"Randhir..what if...Randhir...I am very scared" "My baby..." She hugged him tightly
"Jaaan speak up...say something please" He hide her face in his embrace.
"Randhir..." She broke the hug
"What?" He cupped her face and kissed her forehead
"Whats troubling you Jaaan tell me..." He said
"Randhir...what if...what if I give birth to baby girl..." Sanyukta finally let her fear come out.
