Welcome to our very first contest!
To start things off, what's better than to start with the reason we are here: writing.
We are looking for short fiction entries of 700 words or less featuring a writer, writing. Capture the writer's struggle, or the writer's pleasure, or the writer's dream, or whatever comes to mind. How would you make the literary experience anew for our readers?

They must be original, written and posted on or after October 1st.
