Thing that I want to say is that I draw really weirdly like I hop around with it and do multiple tasks at the same time? Idfk
1.
First I sketched //realized I had to take a pic before lining but uh//
My sketches are really messy, so I usually first sketch on a normal paper before tracing it over onto my thick and good paper ((I just trace it by window aND WHEW MY ARMS ARE NOODLES AFTER THAT LEMME TALL YA))

This is the first layer of lining, since I can line up to 3 times

Second lining. A lot of ppl skip this, mostly bc its not their style. Try it though, it helps fixing up messy lines as well as makes it pop out more.

Roughly explaining how I shade
First layer of shading - very soft just to make some deepening effect ((it looks better kay I have no clue))
Sightly darker color
This is the part when most ppl stop and is satisfied with ^ that shading on the wing. Me, who is never satisfied will always go a step further
So
I don't have a darker red but
I do have brown
And in my experience brown works really well with shading red ha
((I've started shading the blood here lmao))

The blood splatter is one if the most fun thing I'd say
I've had people asking how I smudged the blood and
I use my good old pal the finger
Pretty much just draw of the finger and go ham with dabbing it on the paper
Then I use my colorless 'blender' ((don't use it to blend colors I swear it does not work just pushes the color around))
Gets rid if the fingerprints

I cut the shit out and add some more highlights to make it pop out
