King's pov
i was so caught up in my arguement with my mom that i didnt even notice angel had left with the kids.
"shit " i mumbled under my breath. i looked at my dad and my mom as they continued to go back and forth.
not wanting to hear anymore i exit the room. when i make it back to me and angel's room the kids are both sleep while angel angrily flicks through tv channels.
"baby" i say quietly.
"dont baby me " she snaps.
i sigh and sit on the bed." look im sorry about what happened. i just dont know how to be civil with my mother. all my instincts tell me to bite her head off every chance i get" i explained.
angel rolled her eyes." oh please. your not even making a real effort" she said.
i pout my lip as i crawl between her legs. "dont be that way babe" i said kissing her inner thigh.
she moaned before pushing me away." stop it king. i know what your trying to do" she said.
i grip her thighs and smirk." im not doing anything. i just wanna make my baby feel good" i said.
angel bit her lip and avoided my gaze." im not having sex with you our kids are right on the next bed and im still mad at you" she said.
"ok baby but at least let me make it up to you " i said picking her up.
"king what are you doing?!" she said.
"making it up to you " i said walking in the bathroom.

as angel sat on the toilet i ran her a bath. "do you want bubbles?" i asked.
when i didnt get a response i turned around to see a naked angel standing before me.
my growing member instantly became hard. "i thought you said no sex" i mumbled.
she smirked and walked past me." yeah i did" she said.
i watched as she climbed in the tub and sat down." but you can join me in the tub" she said.
even though my hormones were raging i decided to accept her offer. its been awhile since me and angel had a minute to ourselves.
i strip my clothes off and slide behind her in the tub. she leans her head against me and sighs.
we sat there in comfortable silence before she spoke." king i really want you to make a effort with your mom" she said.
i sigh." ill try to be cordial baby, thats all i can do right now" i said honestly.
"ok ill take that for now... theres something else i wanted to ask as well" she mumbled.
i kissed her neck and rubbed her shoulders. " what is it baby?" i ask.
" what if armani is odell's?"

Angel's pov
"what if Armani is odell's? " i felt king's whole body tense up.
"i dont know its up to you. i already told you ill still take care of her even if she isnt mines" king said.
"i want her to be yours so badly " i said.
i felt king's massive arms wrap around me and hug me tightly. " i dont care what anybody says armani is mines no matter what. and so are you and micah" he said.
i smile shyly." really?" i say.
king grabs both of my breasts and squeezes lightly." yup all this is mines " he said.
i giggle and shake my head." get off of me you perv"

after having some alone time with king we both washed up and got dressed.
by the time we made it out the bathroom the kids were already up. " its time for dinner you two" i told them.
micah pouted." mommy how come daddy gets to take a bath with you" he whined.
king chuckled and grabbed my waist." because she was mines before she was your mommy" he said.
micah glared at his dad and hugged me tightly." no daddy. mommy is mines, right mommy?" he said.
i chuckle." yes sweetie im yours" i said picking him up.
he smiled triumphantly at king. king rolled his eyes and picked Armani up.
"you can have her, i got my princess Armani " he said.
Armani babbled happily and grabbed king's face. i couldnt help but to smile, i was so lucky to have a guy like king. i cant believe how many countless times i let him slip through my fingers.
15 minutes later
"there you guys are" grace said setting the table.
i looked around and noticed everyone was here besides karen." wheres karen?" i asked.
" probably still in her room feeling bad for herself" tracey said.
i gave king a knowing look and he sighed. " fine ill go get her" he mumbled.

King's pov
as i knocked on the door i heard faint sniffling from inside the room.
"who is it? " my mother mumbled.
i sigh. remember your doing this for angel." its king " i said.
a few seconds later the door swung open revealing my mother. " king what are you doing here?" she asked.
"i came to get you for dinner" i said.
"really?"
i roll my eyes." yes" i say. i turn my back to her preparing to leave when she stops me.
"im sorry" she mumbled.
i froze in place. i swear shes like a broken record." look karen, maybe you are sorry but that means nothing to me. a sorry cant fix all the bruises and hungry nights i endured because of you. these scars cant heal with just a sorry. theres a saying a mother is god in the eyes of a child, but in my eyes you were the devil" i said.
i could act cold and heartless all i wanted but the truth was im still that frightened little boy who just wanted his mother's love.
thats why i vowed to be the best parent when micah was born. i never wanted him to feel neglected or deprived of a parents love. i can admit i havent been the best parent lately but my kid can never say hes never felt love from both his parents.
"i know king, what i did to you was horrific. and ive had to live with that for all those years i was locked up. but i swear to you im really trying to make a difference. i know things may never be better between us but i at least want to be apart of my grandkids life" she said.
all my instincts were screaming no but i knew this wasnt about me. it was about my kids growing up knowing they are loved from both sides.
"ill allow you to be around the kids but with supervision" i said.
karen smiled and nodded her head." thats fine... thank you king" she said.
"dont thank me thank angel"
