Last night was the best night of my life. I hung out with my best friend (since like ever) Jack Barakat and his band backstage.
See, I'm Austin Carlile's beauty, and he and i are literally inseparable. And Alex occasionally tests Austin's jealousy rate (which is extremely high) by flirting with me. Then I always say that he's a all time jackass, at his all time low, which still makes Austin crack up.
Of course, Alex was being girly with Jack, and I was watching after the concert in Austin's lap. That is my usual routine, of course. Jack always invites Austin and I to see the shows when we're free, and then we all hang out backstage. "Okay Austin," Alex said in his odd girly voice, "don't you Be getting all sexual with like, the totes heart of this like group!" "Omg, don't worry Ally cat, Ro Ro is like totes safe!"
Jesus. That stuck when I met Jack in the 2nd grade. He called me Ro Ro, since Rosali is a completely hard name! And that is apparently now Austin's pet name for me!
I laugh hard when Alex starts twerking, and we all laugh when I say "Oh yea, work it Miley!" Then my phone rings, and I hurry to pick it up.
"Hello?" "You sound the same bitch! Words out, I'm a free man. I'm coming for you and your singer friend too. You better watch your back, Vends. Or I'll throw a knife in it." The line goes silent. I have heavy breaths. The man I threw in jail when I was a cop.
"Rosali? Ro are you okay?" Jack is looking at me with a very concerned look. All I can mutter with fear is: "he's out, Jack. Damon is out." He now looks as scared as I do. "What do we do?"
See, before Jack was a rockstar, he was a cop with me. We put away a man with an accusation of murdering 19 people, which turned out to be true. So, this was our first case, and we got him. He held a grudge against Jack and I.
"We put him away again. Just like what we did last time." He nods. "Boys, put the concerts we have scheduled on hold. We have a criminal to catch."
