"God damnit Pan this cuff is starting to bug me!" I whined to myself. I was still wearing that obnoxious leather cuff thingy he put on my wrist just before he kidnapped me that first night in my room. Not that I knew how many nights it'd been. Seeing as time stands still in Neverland, it never seemed to be daytime. The moon was always dominant over the sun.

"Get. It. Off. Get it off. GET IT OFF OF ME!" I started yelling. He still wasn't back from whatever it is Peter Pan does and I was becoming more and more agitated by the second.

"Adelaide!" I glanced up at what sounded like a distant yell. During my silence I didn't hear anything, so I went back to angrily trying to get the damned cuff off. I leaned back on the headboard again and continued to fidget with the cuff.

"Adelaide!" It was slightly louder this time, as if it was getting closer, and I looked up again. Shrugging it off, and ripping at the bloody cuff again.

"Adelaide!" My head shot up again and this time I stood up and walked to the little entrance way. I bent down and started to walk down, but then I was stuck by a yellow glow holding onto the cuff around my wrist.

The rest of my body could get through. But from the cuff and to the tips of my fingers, I couldn't go down any further. That's when I remembered Pan had cast a spell to keep me in there. Turning my head, I saw something moving in the bushes.

"Adelaide!" It was in panicked screams and I looked around with wide eyes, trying to see what was running around towards me. The voice sounded oddly familiar, yet I couldn't place my finger on it.

Out of nowhere something came sliding out of the shrubs. There, in front of me, out of breath, stood my brother.

What the heckin' bamboozle.

He looked me up and down, his eyebrows furrowed at my appearance. I was nearly his height now, and was practically his age- seeing as he was 17 when he was captured, and now I'm 17 and captured.

"Corey?" I question, my eyebrows also knotted together and my expression equally as confused.

"Adelaide?" He asked, realizing it was in fact his sister. Last time we saw one another, I was 5. I couldn't blame him for being surprised. The tall boy was panting and had scratches and dirt covering his whole body. He wore black jeans and a blue t-shirt that didn't look as nice as it would have when he was first taken from me in the woods.

"You've aged,"

"You haven't aged,"

We said it at the same time while just staring at one another.

He started to walk towards me, reaching out, but almost instantly something was in front of me.

There stood Pan, and before Corey could stop and run away, he was being strangled by Pan. The older, much-much older boy, stood there with his feet planted firmly in the ground. His whole body was tense, and I could see his perfectly defined arms as he held my brother by the neck with his one hand. His profile was a strong frown, and he looked pissed as all hell.

Corey on the other hand, was lifted of the ground, his feet dangling as he struggled to try and pry Pan's fingers from his neck. His face was red and he was struggling to breathe.

"How did you get out?" Pan muttered darkly. Corey, obviously didn't answer, and simply kicked his legs around and tried to reach for Pan's face to try and stop him.

"Stop it!" I yelled. But Pan didn't look at me. He kept his eyes locked with Corey's, his face a page written all over with fury.

My brother was choking for dear life, I had to help him.

"Stop it!" I yelled again, trying to move from where I was stuck on the steps into the small treehouse.

I managed to grab Pan's wrist on his free arm. His hand was firmly clenched into a fist, but he still didn't acknowledge me.

"Stop it! Please! Stop it you're hurting him!" I wailed out. You know how people scream at someone when they're dying in the movies? Well picture me that, while Pan didn't give a damn that he was actually killing my brother.

I started blinking away tears that were pricking at my eyes, and grabbed his wrist even tighter, pulling on it and trying to get Pan's attention again.

"Pan, Pan please! You can't kill him! You couldn't do that!" I begged and begged, but he didn't even blink. Meanwhile Corey's face had passed the point of turning bright red and now he was getting paler by the second. That's when I said something I would learn to regret.

"Peter, please, don't be the monster that I think you are!"

I tugged one last time and he finally turned his head to look down at me. He saw the tears in my eyes, the terror on my face, and from looking into his eyes, I thought it meant something.

Out of nowhere there was another flash of white and then I was standing in the room again.

I turned to immediately be faced with a slap. My check was burning and I was now halfway to the floor. When I went to stand up again, I was slapped again. And this time I was all the way down on the floor, my palm face down and part of my messy hair covering my vision.

"Adelaide- how dare you!" He sneered. I shook my head in utter confusion.

"What?" He paced away angrily as I asked.

"How dare you try to leave," he paced back again.

"I heard my name being called and I thought it was you!" I lied.

I sat up and let my legs rest at an angle next to me, holding my cheek and looking down-so I could only see his feet. He stopped walking, I could see his boots planted firmly on the ground, and I have a feeling he was glaring at me.

"Lies," he spat.

He started pacing again.

"How in the hell did he manage to get out of that box," he started questioning, his arms probably waving around. I still didn't move, just breathed slowly; I was still trying to process that he slapped me. "I didn't even know where the box was so obviously I didn't let him out," he rambled at a fast pace.

"What did you do to him," it was more of a statement than a question that escaped my trembling lips.

"Excuse me?" He stopped pacing directly in front of me, his voice bitter.

"You're in here with me, and Corey isn't, so obviously you did something to him!" I said it rather coldly, still looking at the floor in shock.

"Don't speak to me in that manner," he spat once more. He was silent for a few more moments until he spoke again. "Adelaide we've been over this,"

I just continued to look down, still holding onto my probably red cheek.

"You look at me when I'm talking to you," I didn't move an inch. Just breathed heavily and letting my eyes flicker back and forth between his feet. I probably looked absolutely crazy.

I yelled out in pain as he picked me up from my face, his thumb and his fingers digging into my cheeks. One of my cheeks hurt more than the other, seeing as I had been slapped literally less than a minute ago.

No, I wasn't lifted off the ground like Corey was, he was holding me beneath him so it looked like he hand more power over me, but still he was using one hand. Damn this boy strong.

"You look. At me. When I'm talking. To you," he emphasized the words pausing for what I'm assuming was a scare tactic. Which was working, by the way. I was terrified.

My fingers wrapped around his wrist and I stared him right back in the eye.

"Do it. I dare you. I've been through enough pain already," I said bitterly.

He laughed. Freaking laughed. It wasn't maniacal. It wasn't like a witch. It was more like a mixture of a soft laugh and a booming chuckle. But he laughed at me.

"Oh my dear sweet Adelaide," he started. "You think you know what pain is?" He batted his lashes, with a little grin on his face, then his expression went cold again.

He stared me down. "When I'm done, Adelaide," he paused, leaning in so close that I could feel his hot breath on my face.

"I'll have you longing for something a sweet at pain,"
