Waking up this morning was a drag. Having to go to school to impress people that you don't even really like makes it even less worthwhile.
I'm Acacia Taylors. Not to be confused for Acacia Clark, the famous tumblr girl. I'm way less attractive and un-social than all the rest of my friends. I'm in Sixth form and I graduate this year.
I live in Doncaster and it sucks living here. Where I live, everyone knows everything about everybody.
I drag myself out of bed and into my bathroom where I do my morning routine of getting ready. I grab a soft dark grey shirt and black skinny jeans. I put on some plain converse, grab my bag and head downstairs. I grab an Apple, yell goodbye to my mom and start my walk to school.
As I walk into school I spot my two friends, Louis and Niall. They just recently came out as bi and they were accepted really well. Of course them coming out just made more people go after them as Louis is the football captain and Niall is the Lacrosse captain.
I walk up to them and greet them.
"Hey guys" I said and waved.
"Hey Kay!" They said excitedly
"Why are you guys so excited? It's just another day of school." I said wary.
"Well we are excited to see our new Maths, English, and Music teachers." They exclaimed
The previous teachers were caught up in a drug ring and they were all sent to jail for 20 years. So we were to get new teachers today.
"Aren't you excited Kay?" Louis asked with confused eyes.
"Of course I am!" I replied with fake excitement
If you haven't gotten it by now, I really don't like school. I mean I like some of the learning and some of the people but the rest is irrelevant to my life. When we found out that Mrs. Bowers, the English teacher was in that drug ring and that she was fired, it just made school worse because she was one of the only chill teachers here. But I guess I just have to wait and see what these new teachers bring to the plate.
"Well that's great because we get to have the first class with one of them!" Louis later on added
Just then I realized that I had first period Maths.
