Death stands holding a blood red rose
Her heart shall be forever froze
A black gown tattered and torn
When she comes people will mourn
A crystal tear from her emerald eye
Consumed by grief she’ll sit and cry
She cries for those who are lost
The rose she holds is covered in frost
Death grieves more than us all
She cries whenever they fall
Over time her warm heart froze
She stands holding a blood red rose
As blood pumps through her frozen veins
We realize all of her pains
When her pain is finally set free
A frozen heart it will no longer be
She found someone who warms her heart
When winter ends spring will start
Death breathes life into a blackened rose
Her heart is no longer froze
