I woke up surronded by the boys all of which had worry written on their faces.
Louis's arms were engulfed me protectively.
Pounding interrupted my thoughts.
My hands slammed against my face blocking the light, the sound around began to return.
"Back away!"
"STOP!"
"NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY PLEASE."
"Autumn?" Louis leaned in toward my head, practically shouting.
I grunted in response the energy escaped my body.
"SHES AWAKE!!" Niall chimed his accent rich and prominent.
"Please, Earth. Just swallow me up." I murmured leaning my body towards Louis.
A chuckle ruptured through Louis body shaking me in the process.
"Cmon. Lets go."
Louis leaned back pulling me with him, a soft grunge left his chest as he stood up quickly.
"BACK AWAY."
"GET AWAY."
Security shouted at the press clearing a walkway.
I placed my hand to my eyes blocking out the world.
Jeez what the hell happened?
I opened my eyes, soft red glows took place of the harsh white ones.
A loud clunk of the car door gave me some idea of where we were.
Louis set me down on the soft leather of the vehicle and scooted in pushing me slightly.
My hand fell from my face as I took in my surroundings.
"What happened?"
Louis pulled his lips into his mouth, taking in my face.
Bodies slammed against the car on the other side, more flashing.
I turned my head at the noise.
Harry was leaning against the door talking to some cameras.
"You fainted, I think?" Louis picked his arm up resting in it on the door. He covered his mouth with the other attempting to wipe his sleepiness from his face.
I refocused on Harry's silhouette, he turned around grabbing the door handle nodding calmly.
Zayn, Niall, and Liam filled in the backseat as Harry sat on the other side of me.
"Can we head out now?" Harry practically demanded the driver.
"Yes sir." The man nodded and began the slow process of getting out of the park lot.
Silence.
The sound of bodies slamming against the car and more flashes.
Flashes, flashes, and flashes.
I kept my head up, staring straight forward ignoring the press.
I need to apologize but im not sure how I could.
I basically managed to screw up their chance to clear everything I had caused.
If I hadn't come the boys wouldnt be in trouble.
What is their manager gonna say?
Think about all the troubles I caused the boys
"Im sorry."
The lump of what was Louis turned toward me.
"What?" His voice seemed to boom compared to my whisper.
"I said... I'm sorry." My voice wavered.
Fuck.
Dont cry. Dont cry.
The boys sat in silence.
Guess that wasnt worth a response.
"Im sorry for everything." I whispered, staring straight ahead.
Silence.
"Im sorry for coming with you guys. Im sorry for ruining your image. Im sorry for messing up your chance to get it back. Im sorr-" My voice cracks.
Immediately I shut my mouth and bite my tongue.
Silence.
The car stops.
My body is getting hotter every second I became dizzy.
Everything in my body shouted for me to run.
I needed to leave, now.
My arm reached across Louis and pulled the door open, I quickly jumped out his arm reached out and grabbed the back of my shirt. I threw myself forward breaking free of his grasp.
"AUTUMN!" Louis shouted. His voice blended in with the background of the rest of the world.
I landed on the road with an umph.
Rocks stuck into my hands and legs, I stood up quickly dodging the cars that awaited the light. I sprinted to the other side of the road wiping the rocks off of my body.
The street was busy, cars whizzed by. Some turning their headlights on as the light of the sum left.
I ran and ran.
My feet padded hard against the ground, every step giving me more energy than the last.
Every emotion, every feeling inside me exploded. Tears began to blind me.
I rub my hand across my face wiping the tears away.
The day became darker.
Cars seemed to become more sparse.
Eventually the roads became less and less recognizable. I was lost.
My legs ached and my breath became erratic. I stopped and cried.
My hands ran through my hair pulling on it harshly. I tucked my elbows toward my face hiding from the world.
The skin on my knees rubbed against the floor as I met the ground.
As much as this makes me a weenie I couldn't handle anymore.
Crying was the only option.
Breathing became harder and tears came faster.
Everything seemed to get worse.
I cried for what seemed like hours.
One single gasp was all it took.
A single gasp to slap me out of my crying fest.
I glanced up, taking in my surroundings.
The was a small brick building down the road, 'Church of God' the sign read.
A soft glow surrounded the building.
My legs wobbled as I rose.
The gravel around the church scattered away with every step I took.
A few feet away from the door. A little girl came up to me holding a pamphlet, a small smile stood on her face.
"Hello, Im Julie. Welcome to the Church of God!"
She wore a small pink dress and a white bow, she about seven or six.
"God?" I asked her kneeling to her height.
"Yes god, He's the good guy!" She smiled larger.
"Good guy? Who's the bad guy?" My voice was hoarse and dry.
What kind of a church was this?
"We dont talk about him."
I took in the little girls features.
Looking into her I remember when I used to go to Sunday school, I remember all the ideas the church filled my head with.
Church was not for me.
I stood up and turned around, And began walking away.
"Lady! You forgot your pamphlet!!" The little girl ran after me and thrusted the small pamphlet in my hand.
I nodded and continued walking the way I came from.
Every step hurt more than the last.
The streetlights were spread out further than I'd wish and my eyes were swollen.
I dropped the pamphlet on the street and slowly trudged my way to the next light.
Where was I even going?
I couldn't go back to the boys, they wouldnt want me to go back.
I have no home. No where else to go.
When I made it to the next street light I sat down. The cold concrete provided me the most comfort than anything else could.
I pulled my messenger bag in front of me and dug through it.
I have enough for a night at a motel? That should do.
Unfortunately that would mean walking another few miles into the city.
More walking I suppose.
Eventually a small motel came into view. A sigh of relief left my mouth.
I wasnt sure I could continue much longer.
The office smells of death and oatmeal, everything seemed to be a pale green color.
I talked to the lady doing everything necessary for a room (which wasnt much)
I grabbed my key and made my way across the parking lot toward the small room labelled '6'
My fingers fumbled with the rusty lock until it finally budged.
The carpet was multicolored which matched the beige walls and sheets.
A small wooden chair with a matching desk stood off to the side of the room next to a dresser that held an ancient television.
I shut the door and sat on the bed, a loud squeak left the mattress.
The rats thumped against the chipped walls.
Home sweet home.
