Tay and Ellie finally together again! ^
I paced around the apartment, and tore my fingers through my hair.
The door swung open and Izzy appeared in the doorway.
I let out a relieved sigh,"Hey, um, can you watch Theo for a little while? I need to go see Eleanor"
"Yeah, of course." Izzy said and plopped down on the couch
Theo was crawling around on the floor, Izzy kicked his boots up on the coffee table and closed his eyes.
"Uhm." I cleared my throat
"It's okay, Taylor. I'll make sure Theo's under supervision." Hannah said and shot Izzy a glare
"Ah, thank you!" I smiled and quickly darted out the door
I walked down to the bar that Elle started working at, she also moved out of the Gunner's house, and let Molly stay with Duff.
I straightened my skirt out and walked in, I searched the room and found Elle behind the counter; all smiles.
"Ellie!" I squeaked
Elle looked around, her eyes landed on me and she lit up.
"Taylor fuckin Isbell!" Elle shouted, jumping over the counter and running up to me.
She slammed into me and pulled me into a tight hug.
"You're back! I missed you so much! How long have you been here?"
"I just got here yesterday, I'm gonna stay here. I miss it."
"Thank god! It's hell out here without you." Elle smiled and looped her arm through mine.
She took me to the bar and handed me a drink, leaning her elbows on the countertop.
"So, Duff?" Elle said
"No Duff. Not yet." I said and took a drink
"Alright, I get that. But, lemme tell ya what a fucking loser he's turned into." Eleanor laughed
"Are you sure, I would think that he'd be hanging around with his new girlfriend." I scoffed
"What? No! Duff hasn't even looked at another girl since you've been gone."
"Really?" I asked sarcastically
"Yes, dumby!" Elle giggled
"I'm serious though, he's never really been around any other girl. He misses you."
I rolled my eyes, "Whatever."
"Have you seen the guys yet?"
"Yes, today actually." I grinned
"How's Slash?" Elle winked
"Oh stop that, Slash is great."
"Has Steven been around?" I asked
"Yeah, here and there. He'll probably be at the house for the party this weekend." Elle said
"Party?" I furrowed my eyebrows
"Iz didn't tell ya? Well the dudes are throwing a party, I'll be there. Hell, everyone will fucking be there." Elle snorted
"Oh, yeah I guess I'll be there then." I mumbled
"Don't be so glum." Elle said with a half smile
"I'm not, just-" I stopped, and sighed deeply
"It's complicated." I finally said
"I can only imagine." Elle said quietly
"To have the person you love the most, fall apart right in front of you. It's gotta be tough."
I nodded my head and looked down at the beer bottle.
"I dunno, part of me is excited to see him, but then again I don't know what to say to him." I said
"Anyways, I need to go." I said, standing up
"Where are you going?" Elle asked
"I'm gonna go see Slash." I stated and walked out of the bar
I made my way to the familiar house. I used to live and share a room in the large house. There are lots of happy memories in this house. I knocked on the door and Axl appeared.
His lips curled into a smile. "Hey Tay."
"Hello." I said softly
"Duff's not here, I dunno where he went. What's up?" Axl asked, pulling me into the house
"I came to see Slash." I said and looked around the house, it still looked the same as when I left, a bit messier, but still like home.
"Oh, he's up in his room." Axl said, looking a bit hurt
"Thanks." I smiled and made my way up the stairs, the door was halfway open and I pushed it open. I quietly stood in the doorway, Slash was hunched over his desk, scribbling something on one of the various papers on his desk.
"Hey." I said softly
Slash's head sprung up and he whipped around. His dark curls swayed and revealed his dark, swirling eyes. The corners of his lips twitched up into a grin.
"Hey." Slash replied
I never really noticed how beautiful Slash really was, I was always so caught up with Duff, and too dumb to ever notice. His tanned skin looked glowy, and his eyes gleamed with happiness; they were so dark but beautiful, and his plump lips. Oh how soft they looked.
"Come in." Slash said
I walked in and plopped down on his bed.
"What're you doing here?" Slash asked
"Why? Are you not happy to see me?" I teased
"No!" Slash said almost immediately
"I'm always happy to see Tay Tay Isabell." Slash chuckled
I laughed, Slash came over and sat next to me. I lay back on the bed and stare up at the ceiling. Slash's room is one of my favorites in the house. It's clean, and quiet.
Slash stretched out next to me with his hands behind his head.
"Do you reckon Duff still want's to see me?" I asked
"Of course he does. That's all he wants." Slash snorted
"Don't you think he's probably mad at me?"
"I dunno. Maybe, but he'd still like to see you again. I mean, the dude's never been near another girl since you left." Slash said
"What about you?" I asked, tilting my head so I could see Slash's face
"What about me?" Slash asked
"Are you mad at me?"
"Hell no, why would I be mad at you?" Slash said, looking down at me
"For leaving so abruptly." I explained
"No, for a while-" Slash stopped
"I was sad and a bit confused. But I knew why you had to leave." Slash said and shifted his body so that he was on his side, with his head propped up with one arm
I smiled, "I missed you."
"I missed you too." Slash grinned and took my hand in his
His lips turned into a smirk, "You're so tiny." He held my hand up against his
"Just petite." I giggled
"Whatever you want to call it, but to me you're tiny." Slash smiled
The room fell silent, I looked back up at the ceiling with my "tiny" hand in Slash's. I could feel his eyes on me beneath all those curls, and my stomach felt high. I snuggled closer to Slash, he was warm and his skin so soft. I could feel my eyelids getting heavy and I struggled to keep them open. Slash's presence made me feel safe and protected. Mostly because I knew that Slash would do almost anything for me.
I could feel Slash's fingers tangle in my hair as he spread my hair out on the bed, making me feel even sleepier. I inhaled deeply and shut my eyes, letting myself drift in and out of sleep.

A loud crash from downstairs woke me up suddenly, I quickly sat up from the bed, as did Slash. He rubbed his eyes and groaned quietly, he must've fallen asleep too.
"What was that?" I asked
"I have a feeling Duff's home." Slash said sleepily
"What? I can't see him now! help me sneak out." I said with pleading eyes
"Oh alright. Come on." Slash took my hand again and I felt a breath get caught in my throat. Slash quietly led me to the staircase and peered down. Duff was yelling at Axl, who noticed us. Slash and Axl seemed to be able to talk with their eyes, because as Duff was about to turn around Axl put his hands on his shoulders and held him still. Slash took no time in racing down the stairs and sliding down the hallway that led to the backdoor.
"Thank you." I sighed with relief
"No problemo. You're coming to the party this week right?' Slash asked
"Yeah, I'll be there." I said
"Good. Anyways I guess I'll see ya then." Slash said
I smiled and stood on my tip toes and pressed a kiss to his cheek before making my way back to Izzy's.
