Chapter 6
White Dragon
Going in a journey with the Legendary Knight Cha Seungwon…is beyond Kris’ imagination. Cha Seungwon is known to have won battles against forces of darkness that threatened the Kingdom…He is the best of the best of Knights…He is also known for his scholarly knowledge that won him to be the right hand of the King for many years…15 years ago…he left the palace…And never returned…
Nobody can say why the great Knight left…but he is now waiting with them on top of Mt. Yukjun. What happened the past 15 years…why did he leave the palace?
“It’s taking a long time for the lady to come ba …it’s going to be dark soon, Master.” Said Sulli
“What if she never comes back for us?” asked Chanyeol
“White Dragons might be the most unreachable in terms of hospitality…They maybe the coldest clan, but they value honor.” Said Master Cha
Coldest? Sulli chuckled. She has met the coldest person ever..and he’s not a white dragon. Sulli looked at the shadow man standing like a statue at the tip of the creek.
Yup…that’s him all right!
Suddenly a swooshing sound was heard and 4 men arrived together with the lady.
“Our Elder Faha, invites your presence.” Said the Lady
“We would love to meet your Elder, Lady. But how will we go up there?” asked Chanyeol scratching his head.
The lady smiled making Chanyeol drop his hand.
“I have with me some of my dragon brothers to help you. We will carry you up.” Said the Lady
“I am happy that Elder Faha still remembers me. Thank you for your help.” Said Master Cha
“He was extremely glad when he heard your name.” said the Lady “I am elder Faha’s niece. I am Ariyah.”
“Nice to meet you Lady Ariyah.” Said the Knight who was quick to take her hand to kiss.
This Knight is a playboy.
Each of the white dragon men stretched their arm and wings spring up from their back. The wings are majestic white…
“Angels….” Said Chanyeol
“Dragons.” corrected Master Cha
Each of the men went to them so that they can carry each of them. But one of them stopped a few feet from Minho.
The man looked at Ariyah with uncertainty.
“The man is with you, Mister Cha?” asked Ariyah
“Yes, he is part of the Circle.” Said Master Cha
Ariyah looked at the man closely.
“I have instructions to bring you all up.” Said Ariyah “We can’t leave anyone behind.”
The white dragon man nodded and went to Minho.
What’s with that? Did the White Dragons also feel what the wolves did when they first met the shadow man? Were they also threatened by his…aura?
The Lady went to Sulli and wrapped one of her arm around Sulli’s waist.
“Hold on tight.” Said the Lady
Sulli closed her eyes. She felt it when they left the ground…but it was a gentle feeling…when she opened her eyes…it felt like she is floating…it’s like she’s just blending with the wind…just being carried by the natural movement of it…it felt as though there is no force at all…it’s just like the wind is carrying her up…like a kite….
“It feels…good.” Said Sulli
“It’s a joy to fly.” Said the Ariyah
The Lady doesn’t look so cold right now…she started to smile when she went back to pick them up…maybe because Master Cha knows the Elder.
The floating island is really like a paradise…there were water falls...streams…lush greens….
They were brought to what looks like to be the central temple or palace…. It’s the largest structure….
They were brought inside to the main hall. The Elders of the clan was already waiting for them…there were around 5 of them.
“Thank you for bringing them Ariyah.” Said the one in the Center. He has a long white hair…and beard…But he doesn’t look old at all...None of them looks old…
“It’s my honor, Elder Faha.” Said Ariyah
Are they the Elders?! Really?!
“It’s been a long time my friend.” Said Faha.
He stood up from his seat and went to hug Master Cha.
“You have changed a bit.” Said Faha
“You didn’t change at all, Faha. You still look like the first time I met you. ” Said Master Cha
“Our kind ages very slowly compared to other beings.” Said Faha
“So I heard…but seeing you like this proves it the more.” Said Master Cha
“Who have you brought with you?” asked Faha
“I have brought the Circle of Diamond.” Said Master Cha
Faha walked back to his seat
“Ariyah, why don’t you tour our visitor around? I need to catch up with my old friend.” Said Faha
“I will.” Said Ariyah bowing
“Please follow me every one.” Said Ariya.
The others went out with Ariyah leaving Master Cha alone with the Elders.
“You’re here to disrupt the peace that our clan has.” said one of the Elders
“We have stopped associating with humans and other creatures outside our clan. We expect that you would return that favor by not showing up here and pushing your way into our clan.” Said another
Master Cha tried to calm himself….the Elders are not happy of the Circle’s presence.
“We have no intention to destroy your peaceful living.” Said Master Cha “We are merely here to fulfill a prophesy…we need your help to find the next bloodline. You may not need us…but the Kingdom needs you.”
“The next bloodline…the King?” asked Faha
“It is something the Princess Dhara is trying to hide from the people for now to control the people’s reaction…But we need to find the next bloodline soon.” Said Master Cha
“We have heard of the south’s soil losing fertility…crops dying.” Said one of the Elders
“And so it has began.” Said Faha
“And thus you see we can’t just let the Kingdom perish…and we can’t let the kingdom suffer more….In the end…if the Core does not feel the next bloodline’s reign…everything will be destroyed….EVERYTHING….the circle HAS to be formed” said Master Cha.
“Why do you seek our help? What can white dragons do when we have lived a secluded life hidden from Zaruum’s eyes?” asked the other Elder
“It is part of the prophesy that we would find one of the Circle member in your clan.” Said Master Cha
“Then…perhaps we can give him one of the students.” Said one of the Elder.
“The prophesy is calling for a specific individual…we can’t choose who he is…he has been fated to be part of the Circle from the time he was born.” Said Master Cha
“That is true…” said Faha “Since the time the prophesy was created the Elder prior to me has known about it and has his eyes on who the white dragon might be….but the bloodline continued for a long time until the Elder became complaisant.”
“You mean you do not know who in your clan is the circle member?” asked Master Cha
“Yes…But I have a couple of people in mind.” Said Faha “What about we go for a walk, Seungwon?”
“I would be glad to.” Said Master Cha

The place is lovely…full of wild colorful flowers….
Sulli, Chanyeol, Kris and Minho was led by Ariyah to an arena. This Arena…there were a lot of audience…the battlefield is full of grass….
“A battle?” asked Sulli
“We are fond of practicing our fighting skills. It’s what keeps us in shape and ready for battle when we need it.” Said Ariyah “It’s also like a competition. We get to know who is strongest when we do this.”
“Can we watch?” asked Chanyeol “We have fights too in our clan…but we do not have an arena.”
“Of course.” Said Ariyah “But there is nowhere to seat…”
“We can stand, my Lady. Don’t worry about us. But you and Sulli should find a seat.” Said Kris
Kris was able to find the 2 Ladies seats.
He really is a gentleman! It’s good to have a Knight around.
Master Cha and Elder Faha also arrived at the Arena…but they went to a room on the top overseeing everything.
“Your circle members seemed to be interested.” Said Faha pointing at Minho, Chanyeol and Kris standing on one of the step of the arena.
“Yes…I’m sure theya re curious…You still have these….” Said Master Cha
“It’s a tradition.” Said Faha “If you have a way to know who among these people is your Circle member, then you better start doing it now….”
Master Cha chuckled….there are hundreds of Dragons in the Arena..audience and fighters….Where will he start?
In the center of the Arena is a tall white Dragon man. His hair is long white. And his hand is crossed over his chest. There are 4 dragons surrounding him. They are all in their human form.
“Four against 1?” asked Master Cha “That doesn’t look fair.”
“Oh for TOP? For that young man TOP, having a 1 on 1 fight with any of the clan member would not be fair for the other dragon.” Said Faha
“So he’s a strong one.” Said Master Cha
“He’s one of the gifted ones….He’s one of the potential Elder…only if he cares more about the clan…right now…he doesn’t want to mind anything about the clan…” said Faha
The 4 fighters attacked TOP at the same time. They all turned ran around TOP fast until they were able to create somewhat like a tornado. TOP is inside the raging wind they created.
“Wow….” Sulli doesn’t know what to say….this clan…can control wind?!
“They wanted to trap TOP inside.” Said Ariyah
“TOP?” asked Sulli
“He’s one of our best. The 4 knows he’s a strong opponent.” Said Ariyah “Just watch.”
The four went into the tornado. But in just a matter of second, the four flew away crashing to the ground. And then the tornado they created vanished.
Only TOP stands in the middle of the Arena.
“He is so strong.” Said Sulli…scary strong….He should have been weakened by that tornado…but it did not have an effect on him…the 4 attacked him eve…but it seems TOP wasn’t even scratched!
“If this keeps up…TOP will surely be bored of the competitions…He has always stayed on top for years now.” Said Ariyah
“I would not want to fight with that one.” said Chanyeol
“I totally agree with you on that one.” Said Kris
“We can’t stay here all day….” Said Minho
“Yeah but how do we find the circle member?” asked Chanyeol
“The prophesy said he has a mark on his arm.” Said Kris
“Almost all of them has their arms covered” said Chanyeol
“And also the Mark only appears on certain occasions too.” Said Kris “My mark is not even visible now if you look at my back.”
“Right….this is hard.” Said Chanyeol
TOP noticed the 3 foreigners…what would the Elders be thinking to bring those creatures here?
And who is that beside Ariyah?
“Ariyah!” called out TOP
“You have an interesting person with you. Is he a fighter?” asked TOP
“I am.” Said Sulli
Ariyah closed her eyes.
“I don’t think it was good to let him know that you are one.” Said Ariyah
“Oh…so you are a fighter? Then come down here. I want to test your strength.” Said TOP
“I told you it wasn’t a good idea…He really is already bored with the dragon fighters.” Said Ariyah
“I don’t think it’s right to challenge a lady into a fight.” said Kris
“Oh…so she’s a lady?” asked TOP
Almost everyone in the Arena laughed.
Sulli felt hot on her cheeks…it’s embarrassing.
“So what if she doesn’t look like a girl? She’s still a girl.” Said Chanyeol
Chanyeol did not help Sulli feel better. He made her feel worse.
“Then one of you can fight me.” Said TOP
“Oh…” Kris suddenly ran out of words.
“A Lion versus an air-bending dragon….is not a good match.” Said Chanyeol
“Are our foreigner fighter friends not confident of their strength? Are you saying the white Dragons are stronger than your clans?” asked TOP
TOP felt a sudden presence behind him. He can feel the wind blowing his hair from behind.
The man was fast…TOP did not even realize the man has left those 2 coward’s side…
Sulli is shocked….behind TOP appeared… Minho!
Sulli looked at Chanyeol and Kris’ side but Minho is no longer there.
“Who is he?” asked Faha
“He’s a mysterious one.” Said Master Cha
“I can feel…an enormous energy from him…and it’s…of the DARK….” Faha’s eyes are widening
“How can you bring a creature like him here? He’s a threat to us…” asked Faha
“He is part of the circle…where we go, he goes.” Said Master Cha
“Do I need to ask my people to vacate the arena? A creature of the Dark versus a creature of the light…This fight…might turn out ugly.” Said Faha
Sulli knows the shadow man is strong…and this TOP dragon guy is also strong…This is just a friendly match…but Sulli’s heart is beating fast.
TOP turned around to see the man behind him.
“What is your name?” asked TOP
“I am Minho, servant to the Princess.” Said Minho
“And I am TOP, the best fighter of the White Dragon clan. Prepare to embarrass the Royal family Princess BOY.” Said TOP
“You’re going to regret that.” Said Minho
“I have never regretted anything in my life.” Said TOP
Top jumped towards Minho. In his arm the wind is slowly forming what looks to be a sword.
Minho was able to duck and slide pass TOP. But TOP ran towards Minho. Minho caught the wind sword by his hand.
Sulli closed her eyes….no….
Minho gripped the sword hard until the sword disappeared…everyone in the arena was shocked…nobody has ever overcome TOP’s weapons before….
“We’ve got to stop them” said Faha
“Is that the best?” asked Minho
TOP is getting irritated! His sword was gone just like that?! What kind of creature is this man?
Wind slowly rippled from the ground near TOP’s feet up to his waist. TOP gathered the wind and created a large Ax.
TOP threw it to Minho but Minho jumped and wasn’t hit. TOP pulled it back just when Minho is about to touch the floor but in the split second that the ax almost hit Minho’s back, Minho disappeared.
Before TOP could reach his ax, Minho appeared behind him. Minho’s hand on TOP’s neck ready to chop it off.
TOP closed his hand into a fist.
Suddenly Minho felt her neck burning…He noticed the blue light coming out of his neck…The pain is starting again…why at this time?!
Minho moved back a bit ready for the white dragon to attack him at his weakness. But the white dragon fell on his knees…
TOP gripped his arm…a burning feeling…that painful burning feeling on his arm again….
And then light came out of TOP’s arm…blue light….
Master Cha stood up.
Could it be…
Faha can see the light from Cha’s eye…Even Chanyeol and Kris has parts of them glowing with blue light.
“What is happening?” asked Faha
“The one called to be part of the Circle…Has showed himself…Your fighter TOP…is the one.” Said Master Cha
“That man…TOP” said Sulli “He’s what we came here for.”
