"The Moon's Allure"
A silver sliver hanging brightly in the sky
Illuminating dark depths of galaxies up high
Light reflects onto the heavens below
A tiny beacon of hope embellished with a glow
But beneath that beauty of the shining facade
Lies darkness unknown, a shadow of fraud
The dark side of the moon is cloaked in suspense
Bathed in crescent gloom, where mysteries commence
The veil of mysticality is but a masquerade
Hiding every little secret in a cloud of shade
But when reality strikes the once-beautiful image
All of its glamour will soon diminish
Fear and destruction intertwine into one
Creeping beneath the moon; nighttime has begun
The ghost of the skies, a mist of terror and fright
Buried deep within a false image of light
The evil of the moon is all that remains
Latching onto your soul with shackles and chains
Horrors clawing at your heart, the epitome of vice
A whirl of wickedness and dread trapping you in ice
But with the blink of an eye, the beauty has returned
The devil has vanished; in ashes he has burned
Although evil still lingers, tiptoeing in the moon's core
Disappearing until next time, always yearning for more
