Kageyama stared up at the ceiling, the ticking of the clock in his room slowly making him more relaxed by the minute. It had been a few hours since lights out, and even though Kageyama had been trying to rest, he couldn't.

Out of the corner of his eye, he could still see the signed volleyball perched on the table next to his bed.

His chest clenched with pain at all the kind words, because even though he knew no one meant no harm, they would never know how much pain Kageyama was in. They signed it, writing words of understanding, and Kageyama tried to feel thankful and not hateful.

He turned his head to look at the clock right above the door.

It signed 0:27.

Kageyama sighed. He had gotten off the oxygen mask and the machine, thankfully, and now was only on the IV drip. But it wasn't like it mattered, since Kageyama couldn't move anyway.

He would never move again.

Kageyama closed his eyes and breathed deeply.

Stupid fricking goddamn car.

-

Hinata pedaled faster and faster, his fast breaths forming clouds of mist in the musky air of the night. He was almost there. Almost there.

Hinata kept his eyes on the road for any cars or potholes he may fall into. If he got injured on his way to the hospital, would they let him in easier that way?

Hinata shook his head, clearing the thoughts. He wanted to have all the time in the world with him, so he would have to sneak into Kageyama's hospital room.

Hinata had stared at Kageyama's window long enough to memorize which window it was, so as soon as he was within a block of the hospital, he ditched his bike and locked it somewhere and began running.

And the hospital was then right in front of him.

Hinata stood up straight, his breath coming in slight pants.

Now the problem was how to get up there.

Hinata stood there and thought for a while. But since he was not very smart, he thought of a not very good idea.

"Guess there's no other choice but to climb," he said proudly.

-

Kageyama sighed as he continued staring at the ceiling. He was completely bored out of his mind.

He hated not being able to move. He couldn't even watch YouTube videos without help.

Kageyama licked his dry lips and glanced over at the nurse sitting in the corner. She was busy filling out documents for the hospital, and writing emails.

He didn't want to bother her for a glass of water. But then she suddenly stood up and left so Kageyama regretted not asking her.

As Kageyama continued staring at the ceiling, he heard a clatter from outside.

But it came from the direction of his window.

Kageyama glanced over warily and saw that the window was opened. He frowned and was about to call out nervously, but then a bag flew through the window, followed by a familiar orange haired boy.

Kageyama's eyes widened as he saw who it was and his mouth opened a little.

Hinata sighed as he dusted off his clothes in case there was any dirt when he made eye contact with Kageyama.

There was silence.

There was just silence.

The only thing happening was a spark that flickered in both of their eyes.

"Hey, Kageyama..." Hinata said awkwardly, scratching his head. His nervous voice broke the silence in the room and shook Kageyama out of his daze.

He hadn't seen the other for so long.

He realized that he missed Hinata, yes, but he didn't realize how much he had really missed him.

"Hinata...." Kageyama responded back. "Why didn't you come through the door?"

Ah, why'd he have to ask the blunt question?

Hinata let a small smile onto his face. "Well, I figured I needed to talk to you for a long time, so I thought coming through the window so the nurses wouldn't know I'm here would be the best option."

Talk to you...

Those three words echoed through Kageyama.

What did Hinata have to talk to him about? Kageyama was the one who had the talking. He had to apologize for everything he had done to the other, and all of it was only his fault. So why did he have to talk to him?

Hinata turned around to close the window and opened his mouth as if to say something, but then he grabbed his bag and dove under Kageyama's bed.

The only thought going through his head before the door opened was "This kid is really weird in the head."

The door opened and a nurse stood there with an apologetic smile. "Hello, Kageyama-san," she said. "I'm sorry but it's time for lights out. Are you feeling all right?"

Kageyama frowned. "Yes, I'm feeling alright. Why do you ask?"

"Oh, it's just that I thought I heard you talking to someone in this room," the nurse said sheepishly. She flicked the light switch, and stepped outside. She whispered an awkward "goodnight" before closing the door completely.

There was a complete minute of silence before Hinata decided to slide out from under the bed. Kageyama then wondered how on earth did he hear the nurse coming?

Hinata stood up and brushed himself off. In the dim light of the city outside, Kageyama could barely see him, but licked his parched lips as he saw Hinata stare at him, his wide orange eyes glistening in the dark.

Kageyama swallowed, a little bit nervous, and decided to say something before he lost his nerve. He took a deep breath and immediately said, "Hinata, I'M SORRYYYYYY..." The last two words ended up in a wail and Kageyama was soon struggling to hold back his tears.

... F*ck.

-

Hinata turned to stare at Kageyama and was about to say something when he heard Kageyama inhaling and exhaling deeply. He figured he should wait a while if Kageyama had something to say to him.

The next thing Hinata heard was a wail coming from the person on the bed.

"I'M SORRYYYYYYY~" came the voice of someone crying.

Hinata stiffened, a little confused and weirded out. "K-Kageyama?" he asked warily. He heard sniffling and didn't think about it anymore. He headed over to Kageyama's side and wrapped his arms around the other's neck like it was the most natural thing in the world.

Because it was.

Hinata had no idea how it was natural but he didn't want to question his "humanistic instincts." There was no way his instincts could be wrong.

Especially when it came to Kageyama.

-

Kageyama stopped crying the moment Hinata's arms wrapped around him. He stiffened up and licked his lips again.

Wait.

Was Hinata...

Hugging him?

Kageyama glanced up at the other and pursed his lips together when he could only see the nape of Hinata's neck and a few wisps of orange hair.

Why was Hinata hugging him? Why was he not yelling at him for all the times he had verbally abused him? Why was he not angry at him? Why did he not keep his distance?

"Hinata... " Kageyama whispered." What are you doing?"

"Shut up and let me hug you," Hinata retorted. "And if you want to add anything else or cry or anything, do it now before I do."

Kageyama inhaled sharply, his tears beginning to spill over. "I'm sorry, Hinata," he sobbed. "I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry for hurting you so much. I'm such an asshole for realizing this now, but I'm so sorry..." Kageyama babbled on and on as his tears flowed and all Hinata did was listen. "I'm sorry I hurt you and I promise you I'll never do that again, so please, just please forgive me. I've been so wrong this entire time, and I've been in denial with my feelings and when I confessed to you, that wasn't a lie. I was completely serious and even though you don't love me back, I just wanted to let you know that I did, and that I'm so sorry for acting like an elementary kid for verbally abusing you instead of facing my feelings. Please, please forgive me I'm so sorry..."

But that was all they needed.

When Kageyama had finished his crying for a moment, Hinata pulled away from him. Kageyama almost whimpered from the loss of contact. He stared up into eyes of orange, and a smile as bright as the sun appeared.

"Kageyama," Hinata said all of a sudden. "I love you." And he leaned in and pressed his lips against Kageyama's.

And they were happy.

THE END

-

So, that's the official end of I Trust You, and I realize that it really didn't have a lot of trust crap in it, and there are a few curse words, so sorry about that. I named this story just because it needed a name, so I hope y'all will be okay with that.

Anyways, the song up top, or to the side, is Got7's Mayday, and if you play it right at the perfect moment, you'll hear Yugyeom's singing "I'm sorry" right when you read Kageyama's wailing. If you don't, haha, sorry lol

I hope you all liked it, and I'm so sorry for the wait in between parts. I realize that this book could've been so much better, but I hope y'all forgive me because I wrote this when I was a lot younger.

Again, thanks for reading, everyone, and I read most of the comments everyone leaves because they crowd up my inbox XD, but it's so nice to see that everyone seems to enjoy this book.

Have a nice day, guys~
