Chapter 14
Eryn’s POV
Opening the gym doors I was surprised to see everyone still there, I figured training would have been done by now. I spotted Daniel helping one of the CrystalNight pack members with his stance and made my way over to him. Passing a group of guys on the way I smirked as they moaned and groaned about Daniels techniques.
“It would make so much more sense fighting in wolf”
“Why do we even need to train? We are the best in our pack”
“That guy is bitch; he doesn’t know what the hell he’s doing other than wasting our time”
I whipped towards the guy that said Daniel was a bitch. How dare he! If anything Daniel is wasting HIS time on these good for nothing losers. I stalked towards the group of little boys.
“You think this is a waste of time? If anything you are all wasting OUR time! You don’t think we have better things to do than sit around here going over easy shit we already know? … huh?”
I waited for them to answer me, glaring directly at each one until they diverted their eyes… a sign of respect. The big guy, I think his name is Jason, smirked at me before taking a step closer.
“Listen girlie; you friend over there” his finger pointed towards Daniel who was still trying to help the guy with this stance “Is a bitch. We don’t need to learn this shit; we are the best fighters in CrystalNight pack. We don’t need - his eyes went from my feet and slowly trailed up to my face – a little girl telling us how to fight… Or a wanker like that guy over there”
Little girl? Wanker? What the hell is this guy’s problem?
“Let’s show him how to really fight Eryn”
Smiling up at him, I cocked my hip out and twirled my hair around my finger. Making my eyes go wide I made sure to speak in my whiney voice.
“Tell you what, that wanker taught me everything I know. Let’s make a deal hmm? I challenge you to a friendly duel. If I win, you come here every day keep that big yap of yours shut and do the training with a fucking smile…”
He looked down at me with dirty smile, he has never seen us fight… this is going to be too easy.
“And if I win?”
“If you win… you don’t have to train… at all”
Looking him up and down like he did to me I smirked
“Deal… I’m going to get dressed. Why don’t you go… and stretch or something?”
Turning away from him I was surprised to see everyone in a circle around us. Guess we caused some attention. Changing into my tight lulu shorts and my sports bra I tightened my shoelaces, throwing my hair into a high ponytail. Strutting out of the change room’s I went into the circle of men; Jason standing in the middle.
“You look pretty”
Laughing at him I shook my head
“Can’t say the same, okay let’s do this; until the other taps out… or knocked out” I shot him a wink at the last part. As I got into my stance the gym door opened, I knew it was Will before I seen him.
“What the hell? What is going on here?”
He marched into the center of the circle, looking at all the men around- when is eyes landed on me he did exactly what Jason did only 15 minutes before. As his eyes trailed from my feet up my body I couldn’t help but shiver at his intense gaze. His eyes lingered over my breasts before snapping to my eyes. His voice came out in a deep low growl;
“Eryn? … What are you doing… and dressed … li-like that?”
I loved that he looked at me like that, and I fucking hated that I loved it. Standing up straight I glared at him
“Will, I’m showing your pussy men how to really fight. If you stay where you are I have no problem taking you and that giant teddy bear out… move.”
When Will never budged I mind linked Daniel.
“Get him out of here, I have plans today”
“Yes ma’am”
Daniel came around and whispered something in Wills ear; he nodded then moved off to the side. Raising my eyebrows at Daniel just smiled and shrugged then went to stand by Will.
“What did you say to get him to move?”
“Tisk Tisk Tisk Eryn… I don’t think that’s any of your business”
Shooting Daniel a glare he sent a wink my way then blew me a kiss. Will growled a deep growl and I shot him a glare
“Knock it off- control yourself it’s getting old”
I turned back around and got into my stance- I knew Will was shocked at how I spoke to him but I don’t care. I hate the affect he has on me still. Stupid good for nothing bond.
Jason got into his stance and cocked his head to the side. Giving him a nod I started to circle him, as he did me. I took a step to the right; he took a step the left. I knew he was going to lunge for me before he did; Daniel always said watch the feet… they never lie. The direction of the foot will always tell you where they will go so when I took a step right and his foot pivoted I was ready. He lunged fast… but he was a big guy he couldn’t just throw it around like that. As he landed on the ground I wasted no time jumping on his back, my right arm went under his neck as my left arm held it in place. He gasped trying to buck him off me but I had my legs locked around his torso. Clawing at my arms I moved so my lips brushed his ear.
“Do you tap out?”
His wheezy breath tried to yell never.
Shaking my head at his stubbornness I tightened my grip on his neck. Within 15 seconds he dropped. Getting up I faced his men… eyeing each one until I stopped at Will.
“If that was your best fighter in the pack then you should ALL be here everyday training; without bitching and moaning. If you don’t you WILL be wiped out when the hunters attack.” Shrugging I started to make my way to the treadmill; I was running off adrenaline and I loved it! I stopped just before I jumped on and turned back around to the stunned men
“If I was you guys; I would be less worried about the hunters and more worried about a rogue wolf… you ALL need to learn a few things”
Jumping on the treadmill I started to run; and didn’t stop for 30 minutes. I was happy nobody bugged me; I needed to run off some steam. As I jumped down I grabbed my water bottle and squirted it in my mouth. I didn’t care that it was going everywhere it felt so good. When I opened my eyes they locked onto Blake’s green ones. His eyes diverted to my neck where I felt some water driblets running down my already sweaty body; it slowly rolled into my sports bra. Blake’s eyes snapped back to mine and he stalked forward, swooping me up over his shoulders I squealed.
“Let’s get you in the shower yeah?”
Swaying back and forth I couldn’t help but watch Blake’s butt as he walked, my hands squeezed his cheeks… I love this guy!
“Looks like I don’t have a choice”
I straightened up and my eyes locked onto Will’s sad eyes. I felt a twinge of guilt but instantly pushed it aside; that asshole deserves nothing. Smiling at him I blew him a kiss and bent down to smack Blake’s bottom again; laughing as I did so.
Just as we got to the change rooms Daniel called out to Blake
“Hey man; sorry but I need your help outside… you mind?”
I narrowed my eyes at Daniel… he was lying… why would he lie?
“Yeah I do-
I cut Blake off as I jumped off his back.
“No… we are obviously in the middle of something Daniel… what exactly do you need help with?”
His eyes flashed with guilt… what was he up to?
“It’s okay babe, I’ll see you in a bit Kay?” his smile was so beautifully rare.
He was super happy today, what is up with today and my friends?! I narrowed my eyes at him but nodded… standing on my tiptoes I pecked his lips then turned to head into the showers; shooting one last ‘I’m on to you’ glare at Daniel.
I had all 8 of the shower’s on making it extra steamy in the change room. Stripping out of my workout clothes I wrapped a towel tightly around my body. Sighing I took my hair out of its tight pony tail, scratching my tender scalp I let out a tiny moan- it felt so good. Looking back in the mirror I could vaguely make out a silhouette of a person leaning on the door frame. Jumping around I walked towards them ready to give whoever it was a tongue lashing. Why did I turn on all the showers again? I could barely see!
I was surprised to see Will – his basketball shorts hung low off his hips. He was covered in sweat but it didn’t disgust me; it actually made him more appealing. His hair was messy like he just ran his hand through it & his defined stomach was just so delicious looking. I watched as a bead of sweat went over his abs and stopped in his fox tail on his stomach. When I finally snapped out of shamefully checking him out I met his dark eyes; seems he was doing the same to me. I looked down and snapped back to reality; I was in a very short very tight towel, which barely covered anything.
“What are you doing in here Will?” I was surprised how husky my voice sounded. I took a step back as he took a step forward.
“I just wanted to talk to you; and since you were finally alone I figured no time like the present” His voice was as husky as mine, shaking my head I turned around and walked back to the sinks. If I didn’t look at him I could concentrate.
“There is nothing for us to talk about. Once the threat of the hunters is gone you can go back to your old life with Leanne and I can go back to my old life with Blake… I can’t wait for you guys to leave” I looked up at him in the mirror when I said the last part. It was 100% the truth. He came up behind me and moved my hair to the left side; it tumbled down my chest leaving my right side of my neck and shoulder exposed.
“My life is with you Eryn, I know I hurt you but I will spend the rest of my days thinking of ways to make it up to you. You are mine” His hands wrapped around covered waist; his nose went into my hair and smelled my scent. He slowly dropped his head to run his nose down my neck; the shocks of our contact making my knees buckle.
My voice came out in a husky whisper
“You rejected me Will. My life is with the Midmoon pack. It’s where I belong now” The end came out in a moan; he was nipping my neck and it felt so good. I forgot how great the mate bond was. His hands slithered up to cup my towel covered breasts. I arched into him as his mouth covered my sensitive neck and hands massaged my breasts. I knew I wasn’t thinking straight, I knew I didn’t really want him but the mate bond over took me making my thoughts hazy and jumbled. I was vaguely aware of my towel hitting the floor, everywhere his skin touched mine sparks of electricity flowed through me; making me that much more sensitive. His thumb and pointer fingers rolled my nipples around and I cried out, grinding on him in the process. His right hand left my breast and slowly descended down my stomach. I loved when Blake did this. Thinking of his name instantly cleared the fog away.
“You William Camp have some nerve using the mate bond to get close to me. “ I was fucking livid and he knew it his eyes shamelessly roamed my naked body; making me more pissed. I bent down and grabbed my towel wrapping it around my body tightly. I took a menacing step towards him
“You listen to me William; I do not have a mate; as far as I’m concerned he died two years ago”
His eyes widened at me, he was getting angry to… good.
“You don’t mean that” his voice coming out in a growl.
I whipped around to take a deep breath. When I felt myself calming down I turned back to him.
“I will never join the CrystalNight pack again. My priorities lie with the Midmoon pack, always will”
Taking one more step towards him I held his gaze
“Blake is my mate now.”
He grabbed me and pushed me up against the wall; his eyes almost completely yellow. His mouth slammed into mine; I tried to push him away, my hands hitting his chest but it was no use. I hated the electricity that was overtaking me again. Just as I was going to kiss him back he took a step away from me. His eyes were lustful and oh so angry – a dangerous combination.
“You listen and listen good Eryn, I am YOUR mate. You may think Blake can be a replacement but nobody” he took a step towards me again grabbing me roughly around my waist. “And I do mean nobody will ever” his hands grabbed my ass hiking me up so I had to wrap my legs around his waist “Make you feel” his front grinded into my core making me cry out “as good as I can” His mouth slammed into mine again. I refused to kiss him back; I may have been trapped between his body and the wall but I loved Blake. Will growled a deep growled and slapped my bare butt cheek making me yelp. He took the opportunity to shove his tongue in my mouth. As quickly as it happened his head shot back. “I will always be the only one to make you feel like this. You are mine and the faster you realize that; the better” He squeezed my butt cheek one last time before letting me down. He turned around and walked out of the shower, leaving me by myself.
“Rosie; what the fuck just happened”
“I have no idea”
