Gabi na ng makauwi ako sa amin.
It was friday evening.
Mom:" no! Please huwag mo kaming iwan! T___T"
Dad:" i'm sorry but i don't love you anymore"
Mom:" what about Kate! Your just going to leave us?"
Looks at me and says...
Dad:" i'm sorry... I have to leave... Goodbye..."
Mom:" no!!!"
Me:" mommy please. Stop crying"
I witnessed my dad and mom fighting.
I was 12 back then.
My dad was leaving us for another woman.
My mom found out about his affairs when he was working abroad for business matters.
I've always known that he had relationship with another woman.
That's why i despised and hated my father so much.
I was always there for my mom.
When he left us I stayed by my mom.
A week after that incident...
I couldn't believe what i saw...
I saw my mom trying to commit suicide...
I was only a kid i stoped her.
Thankful that she didn't do it...
But a month later...
It was then that i found out that she has cancer...
A disease always uncurable...
A few minutes before she was gone she left me a promise...
Mom:" Don't ever fall in LOVE... It'll just give you heartbreak... Promise me... You will never fall in LOVE just focus on your studies... Finish your college first and Follow your dreams..."
Me:" opo mommy i promise you that..."
And with that she died...
