I am now dead after going through 100 entries choosing the top 20. Also dead because I worked on putting this together for 5 hours, but it's all good fam.
Guys, I CANNOT stress enough how much your guy's edits blew my mind. All of your edits, your lyrics, your one shots, your youtube edits, and your song covers...they all are now placed in a special place in my heart and I will forever be grateful to have such amazing people like you guys to enter lame contests like mine.
I have chosen the top 20, they are not in any particular order at all, so don't think they are. If you all weren't aware, you will be voting on the winner, rather than me picking the top one (that would be torture for me omfg)

I have to leave for some time, and I'll be back one day, I promise, but I didn't want you to worry.
You'll will be fine while I'm gone, won't you? I don't want anyone to be missing me too much.
But before I leave, let me tell you I never wanted to. I would give you the universe, but you continue to ignore me and it hurts.
I clambered beneath the folds of the sky's surface, and returned with scars on my body and stars in my hands. When you ask, I tell you that I'd been searching for a galaxy with enough beauty to match your own. Yet of course you shut me out because it isn't enough, as if I haven't sacrificed everything I'd once been and battled the most ruthless demons for you.
Why do you deny my love for you when I would give you the world if I could? You deserve the universe and so much more.
Why do you hide under layers of fake beautification, trying to mask who you are? You're already perfect.
Why do you shield your eyes from the world, as if you think it's possible to preserve my innocence? I'm already so deep into this mess, and I'm so deeply in love with you that I think it would actually hurt more to see you cry on my behalf than it would to gain the wound that caused you to.

Most would call it the real world, but for us, it's just a glorified version of what we've already been through.
Hell, we can do anything.
As long as we're together.

[1] Two things. One; when referring to the others of his kind, it means that the good Kitsune expresses more human attributes. Not from an accurate information, just a theory I made up. Two; in Japanese mythology, the kitsune would sometimes grant wishes for humans they liked.
[2] Canonically, the Nogitusne is said to be over a thousand years old. I, personally, think he's way older for some reason.
[3] So the whole 'murdering humans' bit paired with the concept of love came from the fact that it is said when a kitsune would marry, the ceremonies were extremely sacred and private. If a human laid eyes upon it they would be killed.
[4] Two things again. One; I honesty believe Void doesn't understand the concept of crying. Two; tiny character study on Stiles here because, let's be honest, he's more messed up than most of the pack and more than he lets on. I honestly could give you a whole essay on depth of his character, but best not to bore you.
