Chapter 6
I stared into King's eyes. They was so pretty that I fell in love with them. "Take a picture. It'll last longer." He smiled showing his pretty white teeth. "Shut up." I punched his arm. I didn't care if it gutted him or not. "Ouch." He teased. "You're so annoying but I love it." That's when he started to play fight me. I laughed uncontrollably. He then reached down putting his sexy lips against mine. Why did I have to fall in love with this? By then I wanted him but I couldn't let that happen. Besides I was pregnant by somebody else. Why couldn't it have been King's. Instead I was pregnant by my nightmare. I hate Danny so much.
"What are you thinking about?" King asked worried. Like he knew something was on my mind. "A lot." I replied knowing there will be more questions. "About what." King had both eyes on me. "I was just thinking about me, my baby, and you. I was just wishing Madison was yours and not Danny's. I just-"I was cut off by another kiss from King. "You don't have to worry about that. You got me. I love you and I love Madison like she's mine. She will be mine and she can call me her daddy. We can raise her together." He put the biggest smile on my face. "Are you sure that's what you want?"
"Yes now stop making me explain myself. Too playa for that." I picked up a pillow and hit him with it. "So you want to pillow fight. He asked picking up a pillow and hit me. "No I don't. Leave me alone." I begged. I was interrupted when my phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Hey Alexis. This is Chasity."
"Hey Chasity. Is everything OK?" I asked worried. "Not exactly. I think I'm going into labor and-" I cut her off. "Oh my God! Oh my God! I'm on my way. Text me your address." I quickly hung up the phone.
"What's wrong?" King looked worried. "Chasity Is going into labor. We have to get her to a hospital." King quickly grabbed his keys and we headed to Chasity.
"Chasity." I called but I didn't get no answer. I called her again but still no respond. "Stay right here." King ordered and made his way inside. In my mind I was hoping she was okay. I was hoping her baby was fine too. "Alexis get in here." King called.
Chasity was just sitting there speechless. "Are you ok?" I was worried about my friend. Tears rolled down her eyes. "Just get me out of here." She screamed. I didn't know what was wrong. She didn't sound the way she sounded on the phone and I was worried about her. "We still have to get her to the hospital." I said nervously.
We waited for Chasity in the waiting room. They didn't tell us anything that was going on since we wasn't family.
I started to cry. "She's going to be fine." King tried to Keep me calm. I was just scared for her. She really had no family support and I didn't know what to do. That's when we was approached by someone. "Are you Alexis?" A light skinned woman with Sandy Brown hair asked. "Yes." I wiped my eyes in the process. "I'm Chasity's aunt. Thanks for getting her here safely." She smiled while shaking my hand. "Don't worry. Her and the baby is fine." I felt the relief. That's all I needed to here.
