It's midnight
Dark,
I'm in a car
Driving,
Memories of her,
Fill up my thoughts
Echoing..
The sound of her
Happy..
With him..
Fills me in a daze,
My Insomnia,
Is slowly killing me..
Only 5 more miles
Till the road runs out,
I grip the wheel
Breathing quietly,
I'm going to drive away my pain
Forget about everything,
And then out of no where,
My phone rings,
It's her,
I pick it up
Listening..
She sounds quiet,
But happy,
She kept saying sorry
And forgive me,
I didn't listen to her,
I didn't talk..
And then I heard another voice,
It's her boyfriend,
Telling her to come back to bed,
And as soon as those words came out,
The road ended,
And I drove straight off a cliff,
I then whisper in a vacant voice..
"Don't try to stop me.."
The car then slams into the ground,
I open up my eyes,
Still alive..
And then saw a picture of her,
A picture that dropped from rear view mirror
But as soon as I tried to grab it,
The car explodes
And I'm still holding the picture,
Because the picture,
Was all I have left of her...
