they see a garden,
i see an inferno.
hellbent on my agony —
hell indeed.

sweet,
thick,
slowly oozing nectar;
drink of the gods,
chosen by Dio Himself.
they can't stomach it,
their thirst is unquenchable.
seeking salvation;
deliverance to their sins.
caucasian, mongoloid and negroid children
will one day join hands
despite their colours or what they believe in,
who they love or how full their pockets are,
whether they be 'pink' or 'blue';
we still fail to see this beauty,
as if our visions are obscured
by some ungodly light.

haii. incase this wasn't so clear, this poem is about police brutality and white privilege. i put all of my heart into this one. i can't describe it.
