I hated having to skip meals but it was necessary if I was to finish on time, I walked though the winding halls until I arrived in front of the room of requirement and thought about what I needed that's when the door slid open and I was greeted by the messiest room I had ever seen, I walked toward a large cabinet and pulled a cloth off it. It was beautiful the wood still held its color and the embroidery was beautiful. It's a shame it didn't work but then again does anything ever go my way?" I placed the apple I was carrying into the cabinet and closed it quietly, it would take a day or so for it to go to Borgin and Berks and back. Depending on what kind of damage there was, I would take the necessary actions to fix it. I walked out of the room and started to decent the stairs, I needed some time to think so I was headed toward the astronomy tower and that's when I heard Neveah's laughter echoing through the hall I ducked into a abandon corridor and watched as Neveah and Violet walked by laughing and talking. A pain shot through my chest Fred and George must have been worried about me when I didn't come to work this summer. It was shameful really sneaking around like this, my uncle Sirius is probably looking down on me and shaking his head. I finally made it to the astronomy tower. The view today was beautiful the sky was clear and powder blue and the clouds looked like cotton balls drifting by, I closed my eyes and began to think about all the events that have happened to me. That's when it dawned on me that its all because I meet Astoria in that bookshop a small smile creeps across my face as my memory of her at eleven plays through my mind. I turned and saw the Old Dragon standing there. I smiled and said, "Hello Professor Dumbledore" He smiled and said, "Don't you mean Old Dragon?" I froze, how did he know about that?" I looked down at the ground and said, "I'm sorry Professor Dumbledore it was very rude of me to say that about you" He simply pats my shoulder and says, "I gave my teachers nicknames to when I was growing up its alright and at least its something respectful." I turned my gaze back to him and said, "How much do you know?" He leans against the railing and says, "I know enough and I'm sorry about your situation but I know your doing what your doing for all the right reasons." I sigh and say, " I wonder what my life would have been like if I was born to muggles, I bet my younger years would be filled with happiness and laughter instead of cold empty halls." That's when tears begin to slip down my face and I said, "I'm so sick of being used like a piece in a chess game and now I can't even look Astoria in the eyes without feeling shame." The Old Dragon pulls me in for a hug and says,"You had a very difficult decision to make and there will be more to come always pick the ones you regret least" He let me go and said, "Have a good day Mr.Malfoy and I'm sure Sirius is smiling at you because of your courage." I watched as he walked away and my heart shattered once again. Time stops for no man
