As I'm leaving the arena with Finn, Carmella walks over to us.
"Hi Bayley." She says.
"Hi Carmella."
"Can I talk to you?"
I look over at Finn and he nods.
"Sure."
We walk over to some crates and sit down.
"I'm sorry." I say quickly.
"I'm not mad at you."
I look at her confused, "Why?"
"You didn't mean it."
She smiles at me and I smile back.
"Plus I missed my best friend." She gives me a hug and we stand up.
"So you and Finn are close?"
I nod.
"How'd that happen?"
"I don't really know. He just... helped me."
"Well I'm glad." She says.
"I should probably go, I don't want him to wait too long."
"Okay, I'll see you later."
I walk outside and towards Finn's car.
Enzo runs into me and turns around.
"My bad." He says.
"It's cool."
"Where are you heading?" He asks and starts to walk with me.
"To Finn's car."
"I thought you two weren't friends." He says confused.
"Things change."
He stops walking and I look at him.
"Do me a favor?" He says and I nod.
"Don't hurt him. He really likes you. Finn doesn't fall for people."
"Wait what?"
He walks away and I stand there for awhile.
As I'm walking over to Finn, I see Becky walking away. I don't think much of it and he finally notices me.
"I'm sorry I took so long."
"I don't mind."
He smiles at me and his smile melts my heart.
We get into his car and he turns to me, "Do you want to get anything to eat?"
I nod, nothing how hungry I am.
As he drives, I watch him. I study his face and notice how handsome he actually is. His head is moving to the beat of the music and I can't help but smile.
"Why are you all smiley?" He asks without even looking at me.
I blush slightly, "Because I'm with you."
"Cheesy."
He stops at a red light and turns to me, "Bayley, I really..."
A car honks behind us, interrupting him.
"What were you saying?"
He shakes his head, "It doesn't matter."
He pulls into some random place and we go in. It's late, so it's pretty empty.
We sit down, "What do you want?" He asks me.
I shrug, "Maybe just a salad."
"You're not hungry?"
"I am, I'm just not in the mood for anything else."
"Whatever you say."
I play with the fork that was already set up on the table.
He looks up from his menu, "Are you okay?"
"Why wouldn't I be okay?" I asked confused.
"Because of Aaron and everything."
I drop the fork and stand up, "Take me to the hotel."
I wasn't fully over Aaron and I hadn't been thinking about him much. Finn brought him up and it just hurt. It hurt as I got reminded of all the things he had done to me. All the pain he put me through.
