Tommy:
I stepped out side salty drops lingering on my chin. I breathed in deep. Staring at the night sky. The cold air comforting my lungs. I grabbed the wall behind me barely able to stand.
Hands shaking I put them onto the brick wall turning around and leaning with my knees bent and head lowered. Breathing slow deep breaths.
I wasn't ready for this. To see him again. My first true love. Well I loved him, the same couldn't be said for him. I picked up my sleeve looking at the yellow bruise. He never forgot to mark me, even when I wised up and got away from him.
"You alright love?" A voice said looking towards me face full of concern. I sniffled.
"Yeah, I'm I'm grand just a bit nervy." He gave me a look of confusion.
"That looks painful, you sure you're alright love?" He said looking at my wrist. I pulled my sleeve down as I heard my name being called. He came out drunk grabbing at my waist. I winced. Not because it hurt but because he was touching me.
"Wondered where my whore went." He said grabbing at me roughly. I flinched.
"Let go of her." The stranger said.
"Who even are you!!" He yelled pulling me back. I whimpered not used to him being around me.
