From the ride to the airport, on the flight, and home, I was in Chance's arms. I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. He never let go unless he had to. I guess the short amount of time we were apart killed him too. Nevertheless, I was happy again and I felt safe.
"Paisley, is that you?" Kasey called from the kitchen. I walked in in front of Chance and gave her a shy smile. Of course they were upset. I randomly freaked and left. They had every right to be mad. I didn't tell them where I went, nor did I pick up any of their calls or texts.
"I'm so sorry. I went a little crazy. But. I did get my love back." I smiled back at Chance. He had put our bags by the stairs and was walking towards us. He smiled back, wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing my cheek.
"So. You went after him, huh? That is adorable. No hard feelings babe, I would have done the same thing." She smiled. She pulled us into the living room where everyone was at. With a few other people as well.
Cory sat on the single chair beside the couch, which Kasey then sat on his lap. Colby was sitting on the couch with the girl from the party we went to. Flynn had a girl with him to. She was on his lap while they sat on the couch beside Colby. Wait a second..
"Amy?" I coughed. Well, more like choked. My innocent baby cousin was sitting on Flynn. The jerk who cheated on me, and was also a little whore. I didn't want her getting hurt. She was precious and deserved way better.
"Paisley!" She smiled. She got up off of Flynn and wrapped me in a hug. Of course, I hugged her back. She was my baby cousin. I never see her, but she needs to be happy.
"Can I talk to you for a second, in the kitchen?" I asked her, eyeing Flynn. He rolled his eyes, giving me an are-you-serious look. She nodded and followed me in there. She sat at the table and I sat across from her.
"Listen. You're my baby cousin and I love you to death. Family is family. But I'm going to be straight with you. Flynn. I'm not sure how he is with you but-." She cut me off. Her eyes had this tired look as if she'd heard this before.
"What does that even mean? He's amazing. I don't care if he screwed you over, but he isn't that way with me. He told me he made mistakes in the past, but he regrets them. I'm so sorry that he was an jerk to you, but you seem extremely happy with Chance. I know you're only caring for me, but please just step back. I love you, but please let me do this. We've been talking for a while now. I know what I'm going into. Let me make my own mistakes. I won't know unless I try. Okay?" Amy spilled. My mind was blown. My innocent little cousin just ripped up one side and down the other. I was honestly speechless.
"Okay." Was all I said.
Chance and I went to my room, laying on my bed. Chance was laid back against the head board and I was laying with my head on his chest. I had an arm draped over his torso and his arm was around my waist, our feet tangled. There wasn't much conversation, just laying there in silence. It was nice, honestly. I'm over dramatic, yes, but I hated being away from him. It wasn't long, I know, but it made my heart ache. He was literally all I had around anymore. I still had family, but they aren't around. Chance was.
"Babe. Do you want to do something tonight? Something fun?" Chance broke the silence. The thought of fun thrilled me. I was actually bored and doing something, anything, sounded amazing. I looked up at my gorgeous love, smiling.
"I would love to! I'm so excited!" I laughed. He gave me a toothy grin, leaning down to kiss me. We didn't get into the kiss, the kiss just lingered a bit. It was a sweet kiss, yet the love and passion behind it was so strong. I knew I'd found the one.
"Well. It's around five right now. We can leave in an hour. It won't really be a surprise, it's just something fun. I figured this time won't end in tears and misery." He laughed. I wrinkled my eyebrows in confusion, but I smiled nonetheless. "Be ready in an hour, okay?"
I saluted him, which made him roll his eyes and laugh. He walked out of my room, letting the door close behind him. I walked over to my closet, looking for something. It was nice out, and the night would probably get a little cooler. Before I made any decisions, my door creaked open. Amy walked in, shutting it behind her. She walked over and put her arms around my waist.
"Hi cousin. It's your lucky night. You get the treat of hanging out with your lovely cousin tonight. So. I thought I could steal some cloths because that would make me so happy. So, please?" She gave me her puppy dog face. She was so cute. It's why she was my favorite.
"Of course. Pick what you want. It's been updated, most likely by Kasey. I've never seen half of these cloths." I said, moving the cloths around.
I now had short skirts and skimpy dresses. More heels and dressy shoes. Cuter flats and tight tops. No converse had been added, nor jeans and t-shirts. Those were my favorite..
"Oh! This is perfect! Can I wear this?" She held up a black top that had a back that looked shredded and white skinny jeans. I nodded, then handed her a pair of black combat boots I didn't know I had. Her face lit up in excitement.
I went into the bathroom, leaving Amy to get ready. She'd already showered and needed to fix her hair and make up. I on the other hand.. I got in the shower, scrubbing my body and washing my hair. I got out, wrapping myself in a towel. I grabbed my toothbrush and started to brush my teeth when Chance walked in. He gave me a lazy smile before wrapping his arms around me from the back.
"You smell good." He said. Well more like mumbled. I rolled my eyes at him, then finished my teeth. I turned around, giving him a weird look. I pulled my towel tighter, not like it mattered.
"What are you doing, love?" I asked. His arms were on either side of me, and he leaned closer to my face. His hot breath fanned across my face and my breath got caught in my throat. We'd been together a while now and he still seems to make my toes curl and heart flutter.
"About to shower, baby. Little did I know I'd be surprised with such an overwhelming sight. You seriously look amazing." He lowered his face to mine, slowly kissing me. Our lips moved in sync, but I pulled away.
"Sorry but, I need to get ready. I'll see you in a bit, yeah?" I pushed him away, and walked out of the bathroom.
In my bedroom, Amy was finishing up on her little blonde curls. I grabbed my essentials and put them on. They matched and I was pretty happy about it. I grabbed a pair of my light blue Capri's, and laid them on my bed. I wasn't sure about a shirt yet, so I resorted to drying my hair.
After drying and straightening it, I pulled on my Capri's. I looked for a shirt. It was excruciating. I was to the point where I didn't really care anymore. I randomly reached in and grabbed one. I pulled out a black tube top that was loose at the bottom. It had a jewels in the middle right above my chest. It was cute and I was surprised. Might have to randomly pick more often.
I put on my make up, not going to dark. I put on my black converse, rolling my eyes at the heels. I wasn't really head over heels for them, no pun included. I smiled at my reflection. I added perfume and I was finished. Amy had already left to find Flynn, and I was left to find Chance.
I walked into his room to find him laying out on his bed, throwing a basketball up above his head. I hurried over and caught it before it could come back down. He grabbed my waist, pulling me down on him and I squealed. We laughed a little before finally settling down.
"You look astonishing. Breathtaking really." He smiled, kissing my forehead. I rolled my eyes. "Thank you." I gave him a quick peck before pulling him to his feet.
We went downstairs, looking for Amy and Flynn. They set snuggled up on the couch, watching Lion King. They were really cute together now that I think about it. I guess I never noticed because I was blinded by anger I felt for Flynn. But if he made her happy, it was all I could ask for.
"Ready love birds?" I called, leaning into Chance. Amy rolled her eyes and got up, Flynn following. They followed us out to the truck, Chance and I in front, Flynn and Amy in back. The drive was familiar but I couldn't really put my thumb on it. It wasn't until we pulled up did my stomach drop and jump at the same time.
The amusement park. I looked over at Chance to find him staring at me. I could see the fear in his eyes. This was the place I saw him sucking face with some bimbo. I was with Dee then. I gave him a big smile. I didn't care about that anymore. This excited me.
"Ah! I'm so excited! Lets go, hurry up!" I called, rushing out of the car. I grabbed a hold of Chance's hand and practically pulled him to the gate. He bought us arm bands so we could ride everything. He pulled me over to his favorite ride, telling me this was the first one we would ride.
It was called 'Mission Impossible'. You sat in a two person cart, and got strapped in. You weren't caged in, just strapped and a thing above your head pulled down. It brought you up in the air and you did wicked spins and turns. We went upside down, laughing and smiling. It was exciting.
"Oh my gosh! That was so much fun!" I laughed as we came off the ride. He wrapped his arm around my waist, smiling at me.
"I'm glad you weren't mad about coming here. I was a little indecisive about this. The coming here I mean. Our history here isn't exactly picture perfect. But this moment, now, is all the better. How did I ever get so lucky?" He said, looking me straight in the eyes. My heart melted. I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling myself to him.
"You have no idea how much you mean to me. If anything, I'm the lucky one. You're so perfect. I love you so much." I said, kissing him. He responded eagerly.
We ended up riding all of the rides. We rode some more than twice. Well. Almost all of them. We had one left and we saved it for the end of the night. Can you guess what it is? Yup, the Farris Wheel. What couple doesn't save it for the end? You always smooch at the top, duh!
We stood in line, Flynn and Amy were in front of us. It was around 11 and it was getting late. We finally reached the front and I was anxious. Chance had his arms wrapped around me securely because there was a guy at the front working it eyeing me creepily. It wasn't the same one from last time. This one was older, his beard wasn't well kept at all. He smiled at us when we got to the front, well smiled at me.
"Aren't you a pretty girl. Very pretty indeed." He winked, making my stomach churn. Chance glared, his jaw ticking. His hold on me got tighter, but not tight enough to hurt me.
"Watch it. She obviously has a boyfriend." Chance growled. I leaned into him, making Chance relax, but only slightly. The guy let out a throaty chuckle before letting us on the ride. He shut the cage, but winked at me again. Chance didn't see, but it didn't mean anything so I didn't bother telling him.
We were wrapped in each others arms, watching the stars. It went around twice before finally starting to stop. Chance was watching me carefully. It was like he was waiting on me to do something.
"See something you like? I mean, a picture would last longer." I winked. He smirked. Of course he had a comeback.
"Nope. I see something I love. And why take a picture when I get to look at you all day and everyday for the rest of my life?" He whispered. Rest of his life? My heart skipped about 50 beats. Of course I was in love with him. I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. But him saying that, made everything so much better.
"Chance. You honestly know all the right things to say, huh? I'm honestly head over heels for you, babe." I whispered back. The ride stopped again, making us at the top. He leaned down, taking my lips with his, not missing a single beat.
We slowly kissed and it was like everything around us had disappeared. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else with anyone else. I was truly happy now. My family would have loved him and I'm sure they're glad I'm happy.
Once we got off the ride, we went to the truck. Amy and Flynn weren't far behind us. The ride home was peaceful and I ended up drifting off. Chance carried me into his room, which I was half awake as he did. I could've walked but, him carrying was nice too.
"You little.. You were awake the whole time." Chance smiled, setting me on the bed. I leaned up, giving him a lazy smile.
"I just love being in your arms." I tried. He rolled his eyes. He pulled off his shirt and jeans, leaving him in his boxers.
He pulled a shirt out of his dresser, tossing it to me. I pulled of my cloths and pulled Chance's shirt over my head. His scent entered my nose, and I loved it. I laid back in his bed, wrapping myself in the blankets. Chance got in beside me, pulling my into him. His arms wrapped around my waist and we just cuddled.
"Thank you for today. I mean, I had a lot of fun. I'm glad we did it." I whispered. It felt like everything was falling into place.
"You're welcome baby. But don't thank me. You should expect that. You definitely deserve it." Chance whispered back. He kissed my forehead, snuggling closer to me.
"My mom would've really liked you. She would have loved you actually. They all would have." I told him. He froze, but soon relaxed. He sighed, and started tickling my arm. It was more soothing than anything.
"I'm sure I'd love them too if they were anything like you. My mom would be proud to know I got somebody like you. You guys would have gotten along well." Chance replied back. It was my turn to sigh.
"I love you."
"I love you too, Princess."
