3rd person
It was the 18th day of school for the students of Karasuno. The students were talking about the new transfer student they heard about. All of them were interested in getting to know her. Except for one boy who sat at the edge of the class.
"Good Morning" the teacher said, suddenly entering the room
The students went back to their seats and greeted their teacher a good morning
"We have a new student today" he said and wrote her name on the chalkboard before motioning her to come in
A girl with Black hair and Brown eyes entered the classroom
"Well... Introduce yourself" the teacher told her
"Um... My name is Fujioka Aiko. Nice to meet you" she said in a tone that was laced with boredom
The students were whispering about her. Saying that there was wasn't anything special about her appearance and that her attitude was rather dull. They didn't know that the new student heard what they were saying, but instead of taking this as an insult she took it as a compliment. She worked hard to hide her natural appearance after all.
"Okay then... Fujioka please take your seat next to Yamaguchi" the teacher said "Yamaguchi please raise your hand"
A boy with green-ish hair and a freckled face suddenly raised his hand up and Aiko noticed the empty seat next to the window
She sat on the empty seat and the teacher began to teach his lesson

I sat on my seat and the teacher began teaching.
I suddenly felt drowsy because of my lack of sleep
'Why do I feel sleepy here, and not when I was actually trying to sleep?' I thought to myself
I can't blame myself for feeling sleepy though. I haven't slept in two days because of my insomnia.
But even though I felt sleepy I didn't sleep. Instead I grabbed a special notebook that my dad gave me for volleyball strategies and such.
My dad loved volleyball, he taught me how to play it. We used to play when he wasn't busy with the company, and have mom yell at us because we stayed up too late playing volleyball. I missed them
I started thinking of volleyball strategies and writing down whatever idea I had. Completely ignoring what the teacher was explaining
"Fujioka"
'Oh shit'
"Yes sir?" I replied with a hint of fear in my voice
The students chuckled
"Can you answer this question" the teacher said pointing to the board
I got up and looked at the board and analyzed the question.
Finished I said within a matter of seconds. The question was surprisingly easy
"Wow. You know for a student who doesn't listen in class, you're pretty smart" the teacher said
"Um... Thank you... I guess..." I said unsure
"Yeah. Go back to your seat" he said
I went back to my seat and after minutes that felt like hours lunch finally came
Everyone left the classroom, but I stayed there. I grabbed the chocolate milk I packed for lunch and a book I was currently reading. I also checked my phone for news.
I sipped on my chocolate milk and read my book
"Hey Fujioka. Want to have lunch with us?" Yamaguchi said with a tall blond boy behind him
"Um... Sure" I said
They each grabbed a chair and sat around my table
"Hi. I'm Yamaguchi Tadashi. Nice to meet you" he said putting out a hand for me to shake
"I'm Fujioka Aiko. Nice to meet you too" I said shaking his hand "Oh and call me Aiko"
"Okay" he said "And this is Tsukishima Kei. I call him Tsuki for short"
"Nice to meet you" Tsukishima said
"Nice to meet you too" I said
I opened my notebook and started drawing a sketch.
"Are those volleyball strategies?" Yamaguchi asked
I grabbed the notebook and put it close to my chest "Oh. Um. No..." I said with an unconvincing tone
Suddenly Tsukishima snatched my notebook from me and saw all of the strategies I made.
"Give it back you piece of blond shit!" I said reaching up for the notebook, but failing to do so because of the heigh difference
"Now. Now little Aiko. You shouldn't hide talents like this, these will surely help us in matches" Tsukishima said with a smirk
My face grew red with anger and annoyance. So I jumped as high as I could and snatched the notebook from his grasp.
They both looked at me. Surprised
"Wow. The shortie can jump as high as shrimpy" he said
"That was amazing Aiko! I didn't know you can jump like that!" Yamaguchi said
"Well... No one does" I said
The bell rang and they went back to their seats
I went back to reading the English novel on my desk and ignored my surroundings.
The other students got back to the classroom making the once peaceful classroom to a noisy one
I heard other people talk about me. Some saying that I was quite cute, and some saying I wasn't really pretty.
I ignored it all and focused on what I was reading until I was transported to another world
Class resumed and I was just reading the book, and I didn't notice that class was over
"Um... Aiko?" Yamaguchi said "You know that class is over now right?"
I looked up at him and saw other people leaving "Really?" I said with a surprised tone
"Yes dumbass. Now let's go. We'll be late" Tsukishima said
"What do you mean go? And I am not a dumbass"
"Volleyball practice" he said
Before I could protest he grabbed my blue notebook with the volleyball strategies in it and handed it to Yamaguchi, then he threw me on his shoulder.
"Well you're very light" he said
"I never agreed to this Tsukishima! Put. Me. Down!" I said while punching his back
"Stop that it hurts!"
"Make me"
He shuts up and I stopped punching him realizing that I have no choice.
We entered the gym and I'm still being carried around by Tsukishima then he suddenly threw me on the floor
"What was that for!?"
"Payback for your punches" he said with a smirk
"Coach. These are volleyball strategies that she made" Yamaguchi said and handed my notebook to a guy with dyed blonde hair.
He studied my notebook and he looked at me with a surprised expression
"When did you think of these?" He asked
"Um... Most of them I made when I was 7 or 8" I said
"WHAT?!" He said surprised
"..."
He cleared his throat and calmed down
"Can you please be my assistant coach?" he asked politely
The whole boy's volleyball club stopped playing and looked at us.
I sighed and closed my eyes. I guess joining a club won't be that bad.
"Fine" I agreed with a hint of reluctance in my voice
"Really?! Thank you!" The coach said shaking my hand "Okay it's time to introduce yourself"
"Oh... Um... I'm Fujioka Aiko, from class 1-4. Nice to meet you" I said "And please call me Aiko"
"Nice to meet you Aiko. My name is Sugawara Koshi" A boy with silver hair said with a smile
"I'm Hinata Shoyo"
"I'm Daichi Sawamura. I'm the captain"
"Tobio Kageyama"
"Asahi Azumane"
Then I saw two boys hiding behind Sugawara-senpai
"Um... Hi" I told them and they began to cry
"Stop it you two!" Sugawara-senpai said "I'm sorry Aiko. These two are naturally like this"
"It's okay" I said
"This is Yu Nishinoya. He's in second year" he said pointing to a guy with brown hair with a little bit of blond on it "And that one is Ryunosuke Tanaka"
"Nice to meet you Nishinoya-senpai, Tanaka-senpai" I said and they cried harder
"She called us senpai" they said
"I'm gonna buy you ice cream!" Nishinoya-senpai said
"You don't need to Nishinoya-senpai" I said
"I'm Shimizu Kiyoko. Call me Kiyoko" a beautiful girl with black hair said
"I'm Fujioka Aiko. Call me Aiko as well" I said and we both smiled
"KIYOKO-SENPAI SMILED!" Nishinoya-senpai exclaimed, and then cried with Tanaka-senpai
Daichi came up to them with a scary aura and told them to get back to practice
I helped them practice by tossing balls and we tried out some of the strategies I made
"Aiko" Coach Ukai said "We're having a practice match in Tokyo, please get ready for that"
"Okay coach" I said "How may days are we staying there?"
"Two days" he said
"Okay Coach" I said
I sighed. I'm not gonna be able to sleep there
Hours passed and practice was over. We went our separate ways, until I was alone with Tsukishima.
"Are you following me?" He asked
"The fuck? No. My apartment is this way. I think..." I said mumbling the last part
"Aww... Is the dwarf lost?" He said with a smirk
"No!" I said denying
"Well... Kinda..." I sighed in defeat
"What a pain." He mumbled and sighed "Where do you live?"
"Umm... I think I live somewhere in block 5"
"Oh. That's not far from here. I'll walk you home before you could get yourself killed" he said
"Thank you" I said "But for your information I have a black belt in Taekwondo, karate, judo and kendo. So I think I'll be fine"
"Wow... Shortie's got skills" he said with sarcasm
"Shut up"
We arrive at the gray building, and he saw the small bachelor apartment
"Do you live by yourself?"
"Yeah"
"Where are your parents?"
"...Working" I lied
"Okay" he said
We said goodbye and I closed the door.
I had some instant ramen since I can't cook for shit and did my homework
After that I went to my bed and lied down, and after agonizing hours I finally got to sleep.
