I was awoken by a knock on my door, i opened my eyes and saw Derek
Derek: Hello chief, I see you fell asleep too
Me: What can I say, all that crap is so boring, and plus I'm tired
Derek: Why do you think I gave up that job
Me: Why do you always say that?
Derek: Because that job is horrible, the doctors of Seattle Presbyterian are coming
Me: Shit Cristina isn't here, she has my clean clothes
Derek: She is here, she gave me your clothes
Me: Thanks
I took the plastic bag from his hands
Derek: I'm gonna be waiting for you down stairs with everybody
Me: Okay see you
He left and I got changed, put on some deodorant and went to the lobby, there were a lot of new red scrubs everywhere and very few blue scrubs, I got up on a chair and clapped my hand, everybody looked at me
Me: Alright, hello everybody, I am Dr. Owen Hunt, I am the chief of surgery of this hospital, I am happy to welcome you all to Grey Sloan Memorial hospital. Nurse Mary over there will be giving out the scrubs and Nurse Melissa over here will give you your lab coats, you will be in groups and some doctors will make you visit the services, go on everybody and again, welcome. If you have any questions I'm happy to answer them
I looked around and didn't see Cristina anywhere, I went to Meredith
Me: Okay Meredith, you're taking Dr. Karn, Dr. Harvey and Dr. Fox; Avery!
Jackson: yes?
Me: You're taking Dr. Raub and Dr. Canner
Jackson: Sure
Me: Arizona you have, Lennox and Marling, Shepherd you're with Westbrook and Brown and, where are Pierce and Altman?
Jackson: Surgery
Me: And where is Cristina?
Jackson: I don't know she should be here
Me: Okay then you guys go I'll take care of it
...: Wait Dr. Hunt
Me: Yeah, oh Dr. Marling
Emma: Dr. Marling? Wow
Me: Do you need something?
Emma: No I was just saying hi
Me: Okay
...: Um excuse me Dr. Hunt
Me: Yes? Oh Dr. Hahn right?
Erica: Yes, everybody was assigned to somebody except the three cardio attendings, what are we suppose to do?
Me: I am so sorry we're waiting for...
Cristina: Hey
Me: Where were you?
Cristina: We bought chips
Me: At 8 am?
Cristina: We didn't have breakfast
Me: Whatever, Cristina you're taking Dr. Hahn, Dr. Bryant and Dr. Meyer and showing them the cardio wing
Cristina: Dr. Hahn, hi
Erica: Hello Dr. Yang
Cristina: Dr. Marling, hello
Emma: Hello Dr. Yang
Me: Okay Cristina, you take care of this, and I take care of bringing Grace to Day Care
Cristina: Okay bye honey, Dr. Hahn, Dr. Bryant, Dr. Meyer, follow me please
They all followed her and I took Grace in my arms
Me: Goodbye Dr. Marling, I think you should go now
Emma: Why are you doing that? Why can't you talk to me normally for once, you're the one who broke my heart, for that woman, it was always for her, you even met me because of her, she wanted you to meet someone right?
Me: I'm so sorry Dr. Marling, but I need to go, could we continue this conversation later, please
I turned around and started walking
Emma: Of course, run Owen like you always do
Grace: Who's that girl? Was she your girlfriend?
Me: It's a long story
Grace: I have time
Me: No you don't, let's go to Day Care now

Me: So Dr. Pierce our head of cardio is in surgery with Dr. Altman our other female attending and Dr. Riggs our only male attending is out for the week, that's pretty much all you need to see
Melanie: Dr. Yang, Dr. Altman wanted you to know that she won't be able to help you on Ms. Parker's surgery, her patient's injuries are more extensive than she thought, she is really sorry
Me: Alright, thank you Dr. Evans, um..Dr. Hahn would you like to scrub in with me?
Erica: Sure, why not
Me: Perfect, then I will see you in OR3 at 12:30, goodbye doctors
I left them and went the room 236, to see Addison. When I got there, a man, a teenager and a little kid were there
Me: Hello
Addison: Cristina, nice to see you again
Me: How are you?
Addison: I'm good, Derek came by, checked my brain thing ad he said everything is great
Me: Good
Addison: So, any news about Amelia's organs, I get it if you don't wanna talk about her but I'm just asking
Me: No we don't have any news and it's alright
Addison: Oh I didn't introduce you, this is my husband Jake, my step-daughter Angela and and my son Henry
Me: Nice to meet you
Jake: Finally meeting the famous Cristina Yang, I heard about all the way in Los Angeles
Me: Yeah, you probably did
Addison: Haven't seen you in a while
Me: I'm not gonna say we were close friends but we were, getting along well?
Addison: Sure, but of course you know, Amelia and I
Me: Yes of course I know
Addison: But I'm not mad at you for any reasons, she's over him
Me: Good then, yeah good
Somebody knocked on the door, we all turned around and an intern came in
Intern: Are you Dr. Yang?
Me: Yes
Intern: Um a nurse from Day Care told me to find you and tell you that your daughter fell and got a cut on her elbow
Me: What?
Intern: It's not bad it's just, she wanted you to know, if you wanna come
Me: Did she tell you which daughter?
Intern: No I'm sorry
Me: Okay thank you, Addison I need to go, it was nice talking to and nice to meet you Jake
I left the room and ran to Day Care, Owen was there
Owen: Cristina you're here I paged you
Me: What happened?
Owen: Grace fell, she has a cut, it's kinda deep, she needs stitches
Me: What? Where is she?
Owen: In the office getting her stitches
We heard a big "ouch" coming from the office, I went and opened the door, Grace was sitting on a chair and a really young doctor was stitching her up
Me: What are you doing?
Doctor: I'm trying to...
Me: You're doing it all wrong, it's not even numbed right, you think she's some sort of soldier who doesn't feel pain, she is 6, give me that. I'm surprised you even passed your intern test
Doctor: I'm a resident
Me: You're a resident and you don't know this, it's basic stuff every doctor should know, get out, I'll do it myself
Doctor: You can't do it yourself, it's your daughter
Me: Get out!
Doctor: Dr. Yang I'm sorry but you can't
Me: I DON'T CARE! GET OUT!
Owen: Cristina!
Me: I'm not letting her touch Grace's arm again
Owen: Cristina give me that and step back
I got up, gave him the suture kit and stepped back, he started stitching up Grace's arm and put a bandage on it
Owen: Okay babe, you're all set you can go back now
Grace: Thanks dad, bye mom
Me: Bye
Owen came and sat down next to me and put his hand on my back
Owen: I get that you're scared for Grace but you can't speak like that to people
Me: I know I'm sorry
Owen: Oh no need to apologize to me, apologize to that doctor
Me: Oh no I'm not apologizing to her, I am an attending, she is a resident
Owen: Maybe but you're a person, and human being apologize when they're rude
Me: I know that but I'm not apologizing to a resident, I want people to respect, and they're won't if I apologize to them and be ...nice
Owen: Okay, whatever you want to do
Me: Anyways I have a surgery with Erica Hahn, in an hour and I'm all stressed out, you think you can help me?
Owen: Of course I can help you
We both laughed and took the elevator, found an empty On-Call room and locked the door
