This fight is so long and most of it is talking and it's so intricate. Basically it's taken so much time just to watch let alone write haha

Rin
My eyes stung, and it was a struggle to keep them open. My body felt heavy, like some extra weight had been added to my limbs. I was smart enough to know that I wasn't in any condition to be in this battle, but the dumber more caring and cautious side of me wouldn't stand back and leave Naruto to fight alone. I was exhausted, mentally at least. Memories kept flashing through my head taking my focus elsewhere as all the times I had blacked out became clear. The Jubi wasn't making this any easier, whispering and urging for me to return control to him but I wasn't having it. Then to top it off I couldn't stop thinking about Kakashi, his body was probably now buried under all this mess. I looked up at the battle. The toads and Naruto were struggling against the Animal Path. The more of the summoning beasts the toads killed the more that appeared. I sighed as I put my hands together.
"Dark chain jutsu" I slammed my hands against the earth and chains erupted in the distance wrapping around the summoned beasts. I stood up, using the strength from my susanoo to pull the chains forcing the beasts to the ground. The toads looked back at me, seemingly surprised.
"Thank you" I nodded in reply as I pulled harder on the chains and made eye contact with Pein from across the field. I forced a smirk and winked at him which only added to his anger.
"We need to cloud his vision" I thought out loud.
"Agreed, Naruto is beginning to lose his sage abilities" I glanced at Fukusaku who looked up at me.
"I can't cast a genjutsu strong enough to block his vision, he'd see right through it" I replied to his unspoken question. He nodded before looking at the female toad beside him.
"Rin, keep the beasts down. We'll give Naruto some more coverage" I nodded then allowing the chains to wrap around my susanoo's arms strengthening the grip.
"Ma you know what to do" He told the female toad and I watched as he ran over to Gamabunta.
"I'm going to hurl you straight at Naruto-Boy you understand?" Fukusaku somewhat explained. I watched as Ma shot into the air putting her hands together. Wind followed her breath creating a sand storm around us. I heard a loud crash from within the dust and when it settled both Naruto and the Animal Path were missing.
"Where are they" Pein demanded, just as confused as I was. The answer came as smoke came out of Gamabunta's mouth. The tension released from my chains as the summoning beasts disappeared and I let the chains fade. Gamabunta leaned forward letting Naruto and the Animal path slide from out of his mouth.
"You've exhausted all your Sage jutsu" Pein pointed out. He was right, Naruto's chakra was low. I raised an eyebrow as Naruto pulled the giant scroll off his back, so that was his next big move. I moved my arm forward, the susanoo following and slammed it's katana into the ground between Pein and Naruto. Pein slid to a stop nearly running into it as I reached my other hand forward the dark chakra reaching out to him.
"I'm going to re-enter sage mode!" Naruto shouted towards me as I turned swinging the giant blade of my susanoo forcing Pein further back.
"How?" I demanded.
"I've got it covered I just need a minute!" He shouted as he ran past me.
"Hurry it up then!" I replied as I faced Pein.
"Your prowess with your Sharingan rivals that of your brothers" He mused and I rolled my eyes.
"This whole your just like your brothers thing is starting to get a little old. I've held my own for years, I have my own strength and created a reputation that strikes fear into people with just the sound of my name not Itachi or Sasuke's" I replied shortly.
"And your point?" He asked, and I motioned downwards as his shadow pulled towards me.
"My point is I'm not my brothers, I never have been and that's why I'm the one you should really be afraid of" I lifted my hand reaching out for his shadow and once it made it contact I pulled. Pein seemed briefly surprised as he fell flat on his back. I lifted my arms creating a wall of black chakra obscuring the others vision and glanced back at Naruto.
"Ready?" I demanded as a shadow clone of him vanished, I realized then the scroll he held was a summoning scroll. I stumbled back when he ran past me blocking Pein's attack, shattering his staff before looking back at me and grinning. His eyes yellow and the area around it orange.
"Ready" He finally replied. I drew back my sword allowing Naruto room to fight Pein as he pressed forward. Each kick and punch perfectly timed until he sent Pein flying backwards. He summoned two more clones to his side creating another Rasenshuriken.
"It's over you're mine!" He shouted throwing it directly it am. I thought he had it, that was until one of the others slid in the way to block the attack. He reached forward and the jutsu slowed. I knew this one, it's the one he managed to revive after I pumped it full of dark chakra. The Preta path. I released a slow sigh as I stepped towards Naruto.
"Whats going on?" He asked.
"That path can absorb and block ninjutsu, he's a tricky one to get around. The Pein I'm most familiar with is dangerous, he can repel and attract basically anything. It's the one Kakashi and I fought" I explained, forcing down the lump in my throat.
"But that's the one you want to take down first" I advised pointing towards the farthest Path.
"He can revive the dead, It's how they keep coming back. I destroyed one his paths beyond recognition, basically ground it to dust so that could have been what prevented reanimation but I don't think we should rely on it" I explained.
"Our best course of action would be to take down the one that can revive the others and then focus on the rest" I said firmly and Naruto nodded.
"You're right" He agreed as he held out his hands, two rasengan beginning to form.
"And use smoke bombs too" I reached into one of the pouches of my belt and threw the bombs against the ground, they erupted into a red smoke that blanketed the field.
"Alright!" I watched as Naruto threw the decoy first, the transformation jutsu tore through the smoke clearing the field. The Preta path raised its hands, I could almost hear him scoffing as he absorbed the attack but instead Naruto appeared. Naruto launched at his torso tackling the Preta path to the ground. The second rasenshuriken followed, this one would be to quick for Pein to dodge but as Pein stared at it with no concern I knew this plan would result in failure. He was much to calm.
"His powers returned" I muttered, somewhat frustrated at this and sure enough as the jutsu reached it expelled around him, with just a glance he managed to destroy it. I wanted to shout for Naruto to retreat but when he covered the Preta's path eyes I realized then he was never going for the Pein I knew. He had listened, and went for the Path that was capable of revival.
"Sage jutsu, rasengan barrage!" Another shadow clone had appeared from the sky with two rasengan in hand. Pein's eyes widened in shock as Naruto landed the hit against the path behind him.
"What" Pein's voice was angry but Naruto merely stared him down as his jutsu tore through the path capable of revival. I had to smirk at this, it was very well played. I'd never have thought that the Naruto I used to play ninja with would be capable of something so calculated.
"Two left" I breathed. This was actually happening, he was winning.
"I'm not done yet!" Naruto shouted, raising his fist. The original went for the Preta path but the clone went straight for Pein.
"Naruto wait, his power..." But my words were lost as Pein lifted his arms.
"Almighty push!" Both Naruto's were sent flying. The clone vanishing on impact. I ran forward just in time to catch the real one. I flinched at the impact as my feet slid a few steps back. I looked down at Naruto.
"Are you okay?" I asked and he nodded as he stood. We watched the three giant toads attempt to attack the remaining two Pein.
"We can't use ninjutsu or taijutsu" Naruto started.
"So what can we do?"

I looked at Rin as I asked the question, out of habit of her usually having the answers or being our trump card. Rin stared at me, seemingly confused before realizing why I was looking at her.
"Alright, look between the central Pein's attacks we have at most five seconds. That's it for attacks. Any second later or earlier and were dead. The Preta path can probably be taken down with taijutsu but again we'd still need a way to keep the original at bay" I explained.
"And how can we do that?" I asked and RIn sighed.
"I'm not sure" She replied.
"Then perhaps our best hope is to trap him with Genjutsu" Fukusaku suggested.
"But how? I'm no good. I can't pull off Genjutsu to save my life" I reminded.
"You can't, but she can" Fukusaku said, motioning to Rin.
"I already told you, I can't pull something to trick Pein" She objected.
"But you've done it before Rin, I-I've seen it. Your genjutsu is powerful"
"But against Pein I.."
"The boy is right; other than fire this is your clans speciality. You're the only one here capable of this level of genjutsu" Rin glanced behind me as Pein threw back the other three toads. They went flying in different directions, defeated.
"I know you're scared Rin" I said quickly and she looked back at me.
"But we need you" Rin stared at me for a while and released a slow breath as she withdrew her susanoo. It broke apart fading back into her and she took a step back to steady her self.
"I'll need time, and I'll need a strong defence. A genjutsu of this caliber will require more strength than usual, can you give me that?" She asked and I nodded.
"Alright, I'm counting on you Naruto"
"Same here, this plan won't work without you" Rin nodded as she stepped behind me. I faced Pein as Fukusaku and Ma took a somewhat defensive post around Rin as she retreated.
"I must say you're truly strong Naruto, this is the farthest that Pein has ever been pushed but no more. It's over" Pein raised his arm towards me.
"Universal pull" It was startling the moment my feet left the ground and I was flung towards him. I tried to stop myself but was propelled directly into the second Pein's fist. I flinched as he caught my arm and pinned me against him.
"Don't worry, I won't kill you. You are a precious jinchuriki" He said calmly.
"Ha, did you really think you could hurt me with this move? You shouldn't underestimate Sage mode, and now it's my turn too..." I felt it at that moment, my Sage chakra leaving me. It was this Pein, he could absorb it, all my chakra.
"Yes you're right, Sage jutsu is powerful" Pein agreed. I could feel myself getting weaker by the second.
"The nine-tails has been captured" He said clearly.
"Not yet, I'm not done" I replied.
"You're quite the stubborn one aren't you" He said, annoyed. I released a slow breath realizing that not being able to move was perfect. I could absorb more nature energy. I focused on that, now ignoring Pein as I allowed the one that held me to absorb all the chakra he wanted.
"What the..." I smirked as I looked up at the central Pein.
"I guess you don't know about this but nature energy is really hard to control" I explained and could feel the one that held me turning to stone. I struggled to free myself but managed to break free.
"Sage jutsu chakra, it seems it comes with a fair bit of risk"
"Now were finally down to just you" Pein didn't seem to hear me as he instead looked towards where RIn should be. He lifted his arm and I expected Rin to fly forward but instead it was Fukusaku. I lunged forward trying to intercept the attack.
"Geizer sage!" I shouted. I couldn't reach him in time as Pein raised his staff slicing clean through Fukusaku. I slid to a stop, dead in my tracks and barely managed to catch the body when Pein threw it at me.
"Universal pull!" I launched towards him, Fukusaku tumbling from my hands as Pein caught my throat and threw me against the ground. I felt him catch my hands and screamed when he pinned them to the ground with his staff. I slowly glanced up at him as he knelt down, putting his weight on the staff that sunk through my palms.
"So, where'd the Princess disappear to?" He questioned and I managed to glance behind me. Sure enough only Ma was there, Rin was gone.
"W-What..." I let my sentence trail off, it had to be apart of her jutsu. I looked back towards Pein and merely shrugged, much to his frustration.
"Rin knows I can't kill you and she also knows I can't kill her" He explained, pulling another staff from his cloak.
"But I wonder how many other lives she's willing to lose, how long she is willing to listen to you suffer just to pull off whatever stunt it is you two have planned" He mused and I screamed again when he pushed the staff into my shoulder.
