Teri's P.O.V
We finally pulled up at a hotel, even without considering all of the breaks we had, and the rests that Calum and Michael took from driving the journey was far longer than I thought it would have been. It was typical of me to be falling asleep as we had to finally get up. I felt Luke gently tap me on the shoulder.
"Teri, we are going to the hotel now, time to wake up." He stated kindly.
I pulled myself off of the seat, rubbing my eyes and finally getting out of the car. My legs needed stretching, I can't imagine how George and Luke's legs were aching, they had to deal with someone sitting on their laps for ages... We checked into the hotel and sorted out rooms, Ali and I had a room to ourselves, Luke, Calum, Michael and Ashton shared a room. George, JJ and Josh also shared a room.
We didn't have anything to unpack, so we all decided to go and get some sleep. Ali and I turned on the small Tv provided and the news channel was on. We weren't paying too much attention, until the voice of the news man made us both turn around and listen.
"Teenage boy killed by gang at a house party. The victim Ryan was together with one of the gangs members a girl named 'Ali' who was causing a problem between him and one of the other gang member 'George'. There were 7 others in this gang, 6 other boys and another girl. They are all on the run, and supposedly left in a white range rover.
We both ran through the hotel and started banging on the doors of the boys, who were next door, they opened their doors and began asking us what was wrong.
"WE WERE ON THE NEWS, THEY ARE LOOKING FOR US, WE NEED TO FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO, QUICKLY BEFORE SOMEONE SPOTS US!" I said, loudly but cautious of the surrounding rooms.
"Teri, calm down, if anything we need to keep calm, breathe Teri... Breathe." Asthon told me, he was worried, he didn't hide it very well. But he tried.
"Okay, I have an uncle just north from here, he can hide us for a while." Luke stated.
As soon as he said this Michael began rounding everyone up, and pushing us all to the stairs, guiding us down to the front desk, we quickly paid and threw our keys in and made a move. We all jumped into Michael's car, re-gaining our seats from earlier on, Luke in the front this time though, so I sat in the back on Ashton's lap and George still stuck with Ali. Ashton seemed quite contempt with me just sitting on his lap. I had always been very close to Ashton, closer than I was with the other boys.
This particular journey took no longer than 30 minutes, which was a relief for us, as we were under the pressure of being caught wherever we were. At that moment, as we sat in the car, waiting to get out, my phone began to ring, I had forgotten it was in my pocket, 'incoming call from Jaymi.' I answer the phone:
"Hello Jaymi" I say in a mature tone, as he may have already seen the news.
"You guys, what happened? I saw the- the news reporter say about the p-party, please tell me that was just a massive coincedence!" He kept stuttering, obviously worried.
"Jaymi, I'm so sorry, I am so sorry, we didn't mean it, he started it and George pushed him, and then he hit me, I promise it wasn't intentional, someone spiked Ali and then, and then..." The tears began rolling again down my eyes as I dropped my phone the the floor, cutting the line dead. Ashton holding me tightly as I cried into his shoulder. Then turning to look around the car.
Everyone staring at me with great sympathy except Luke, he looked angry, we made eye contact and his eyes softened. No one spoke as we retreated from the car, we got out and Ashton stuck by my side, making sure I was okay, Luke's angry face returning briskly, what was his problem?
