"NO! this cant be right!" I yelled slamming the paper down. He smirked at me as he leaned back in the chair. "what?!" I screamed at him. "oh nothing, i just love the way you are taking this" "Fuck off" i spat, glaring at him. "oo touchy" "This is some kind of sick joke isnt it?" "sure, you could say that." He got up from desk and grabbed his backpack. "i have to get to fourth period" he clapped me on the shoulder and smirked at me before walking out of the clasroom. I glanced at the clock. "shit" i mumbled grabbing my bag and running to my next class.i walked in and all eyes were on me. "You're late Nicholas" "sorry" "thats the third time this week. you have detention after school tomorrow." she said, filling out a slip. Ooos and snickers echoed around the room. She handed it to me. "take your seat Mr.Hollows" I did. i pulled out my notes and hid my blushing face from the other students who were snickering and pointing secretly at me. rude much? the period ended and it was time for lunch. I sat at my normal table. Kaleb and Alex were already there. "So, Vlad's decendant huh?" I glared at them. "the joke isnt funny" "oh come on guys, give him a break" Juliette said sitting next to me. "yah guys, its not funny" Sam said taking a seat next to Juliette. Kaleb and Alex laughed and i just sat there, picking at my salad with a fork. I wasnt in any mood to eat. the girls when on to gossip, like always, and i ignored it. it was all bullshit. then i heard them mention something about my girlfriend. "what?" I said, sitting up straight."didnt you hear?" "hear what?" "Massie is going out with Devon" "isnt he like your enemy?" Me and him have hated each other since forever. our families hate each other. we are always competing. problem is? they're our neighbors. "Yes" I said, stabbing my salad with my fork. The pain registered in my chest. "i gotta go" I got up and walked out of the cafetiria. I wasnt one to cry over things, but this pushed it. I ran into the boys bathroom and locked myself in a stall. God, im such a fucking girl. I silently cried till about five minutes before the end of lunch. I walked out and went over to the sinks. I splashed water in my face and dried it off. it was clearly obvious i had been crying. i walked out and went to class early. I took my seat and pulled out my notebook. i scribbled down a note to Massie. She sits next to me this period. the note read:

i folded it up and just sat there. the teacher walked in the room. "Oh! Nick! you're early!" "yeah, i just wanted to be on time, i already have a detention for being late, i dont exactly need another." "oooh, i see" he set his stuff down and began writing the plans on te board. the bell rang and everyone came in and sat at their desks. I glared at massie secretly and she smiled all wide. The over dose lipgloss on her lips was disgusting. how many coats did she have on? 12million? okay, that might be a bit exaggerated, but it looks like that. She took her seat. "hey babe" she whispered to me. "hi." i stated flatly. "whats wrong?" She asked, cocking her head to the side and putting a conserned expression on her face. "nothing. my days just been shit today." "oh, thats not good." "yeah... and yours is about to be that way too" "why is that?" I slammed the note down in front of her. She looked at me confused and picked it up. she opened it and read it. She stood up and slapped me. "YOU BASTARD!" she screamed. She ran out of the classroom crying. She deserved it. Blondes are so fucking annoying sometimes. Not saying all of them are, but they have a tendancy to be slightly bitchy. or is that just me? the whole class was looking at me. I shrugged and tey turned around. "ill be back" the teacher said, following Massie out the door. "dude what did you do?!" people asked, running up to my desk. "broke up with her" "why?!" someone yelled. "she's cheating on me" "with who?!" the same girl asked. "is that your buisness?" "no..." she said blushing. She was clearly embarrassed. "so your free?!" another girl squeaked. "im not looking for a relationship at the moment sorry" there was this thing with all the girls in this school having a crush on me. Im not even that popular. They all sighed and went back to their desks. the boys laughed. "nice one dude" "she totally deserved that" "isnt she dating devon?" i nodded. "oh that sucks ass" "yah, i know" they went back to their desks and the teacher returned moment s later. "Nick, you are wanted in the office." I sighed and got up. I tossed my bag over my shoulder and grabbed the stuff on my desk. As i walked out of the classroom, i got glared at and people snickered. Could this day get any worse?
I walked down to the office. when i got there, the lady at the desk looked up at me. "can i help you?" "im wanted?" "hmm.." she looked at her computer screen. "nicholas?" "yeah" "okay, follow me" She lead me to the principals office. There, Massie was sitting on a chair crying her eyes out. great... just fucking great. "ah nick, take a seat" he motioned to the chair next to Massie's. "do you know why you're here nick?" "I broke up with my girlfriend?" I spat sarcastically. "rather rudly at that." "she was cheating on me!" i said standing up. "Was not!" "bullshit!" "Nicholas!" I grunted and sat back down. "its clear you two need mediation." "oh god no, not with her" She slapped me again. "OW!" "Massie!" "what? he deserved it!" "No i didnt!" "did too! if your gonna be a dick at least put a....." "SILENCE!" we both looked at him. "you both have detention tommorrow after school." "nothing new, i already have detention fr being late." "you both will be here for detention, not in the library, got it?" "whatever" he wrote us each a slip. "you may go" he said handing us the notes. "this is your fault!" Massie said stepping on my foot and leaving the room. I winced in pain and followed her out the door. We went back to class and sat down in silence. people whispered about us and stared. class ended and the rest of the day dragged on. "dude what the hell happened?! you're like the talk of the school" Alex said running up to me. "yeah dude spill it" Kaleb said, also running up to me. "its nothing" "its not nothing dude spill" "fine. I broke up with Massie and she made a big deal out of it. now i have detention in the principals office tomorrow with her." "wow" "yeah" "what did you do?" "i gave her a note and called her a bitch." "this is why i dont date blond girls" "liar! you dated ashley last year!" "and tiffany" i added "fuck you guys" "haha, please dont" we walked home and parted ways. I walked in the house and my mom went ape shit. "YOU CALLED A GIRL A BITCH!?!?!" she screamed at me. "she cheated on me." "you have no right to call her a bitch for it! and you have detention?!" "yeah, in the principals office, ts her fault" "NO ITS YOURS! IF YOU HADENT CALLED HER A BITCH YOU WOULDNT HAVE DETENTION!" i rolled my eyes. "you are GROUDNED!" "what?!" "Go to your room!" "mom im not 12" "GO TO YOUR ROOM!" i grunted and went up to my room. I threw my bag across the room and sat on my bed. My phone buzzed in my pocket and i pulled it out.
Sam: Hey, we're all going to see a movie later, wanna come?
me: cant, my mom grounded me for calling Massie a bitch
Sam: You called massie a bitch?!?!
Me: get Alex and Kaleb to tell you. i gtg
Sam:Alright, bye.
Me: bye
i tossed my phone on my nightstand and sighed. I then got up and got my backpack. i pulled out my homework. i have nothing else to do... may as well do it, im in enough trouble already. I pulled things out and a paper fell out and to the floor. I picked it up. it was folded in half "what the hell?" i muttered. I opened it and there was blocky writing on the inside.

the name was in a different language and i couldnt read it. thinking it was one of the guys fucking with me, i texted Kaleb.

I am so confused. who the fuck sent me this note? I made a mental note to tell kaleb to go back to preschool cause of the way he texts, then i went back over to my bed. I looked at the time. 4:57pm. i still had like 5 hours. I did my homework quickly and then put it back in my bag. My mom called me down to dinner. I ran down and me and my sister head butted in the hallway. "ow!" she yelped. I rubbed my head and she did the same "sorry" We walked down to the kitchen. We ate dinner and talked about random family stuff. I went back up to my room and closed the door. i looked at the time. 9:12pm. wow time flies. "guys go to bed!" my mom yelled walking past our rooms. i knew i wasnt going to bed. i was debating on if i should go to meet this guy or not. It all seemed like a big hoax. The curious side of me is the reason i was going. I sat on my bed and waited. the light in the hall turned off. i had my room light off and i was sitting in the dark. i had my phone out and i was listening to music and playing minecraft. hey, im 15 and bored as hell, its not a crime to play minecraft. I built a house and then looked over at the time. 11:36pm. it took me that long to build this shitty ass house?! wow... then it hit me. i frantically got up and as quietly as possible put on my shoes and a jacket. i grabbed my phone and a flashlight. I also grabbed my pocket knife cause, you never know. Quietly, i opened the window and jumped out. It hurt a bit when i hit the ground cause my room is on the second story of the house, but i didnt care. i walked it off and walked to the graveyard. i approched the gates and looked at the time. 12:06am. I loked up at the gates. something about graveyards at night scared the shit outta me.'grow a pair' i thought to myself. i took a deep breath and slowly opened the gate. it sqeaked a bit. when i had it open enough, i slid through it and carefully closed it. 'first oak tree to the left' i looked to the side and pointed my flashlight to the left. i scanned over the headstones and then saw the tree. i made my way over too it slowly. there was a snap and i turned to the side and aimed my flashlight where i heard the noise. oh. it was just a squirrel. i got to the tree. "h-hello?" i asked slowly. no anwer. was this all a prank? it wasnt funny anymore. i looked at the time. 12:15am. where was this guy? "this isnt funny...." i ssaid outloud. "hi!" a voice piped up next to me. i jumped back and hit the tree. i swear to fucking god my heart stopped. there was a boy hanging from the tree. like upside down from the tree. his eyes were a bright red color. i shined my flashlight on him. "ah! can you not!" he said blocking his eyes and giving me a disgusted look. "o-oh sorry" i turned off the flashlight. he jumped down from the tree. "i didnt think you'd actually come" he said smiling. "i.. i was curious... thats all" "why are you afraid?" "i.. im not..." "i can hear your heart beat, its so loud, so fast..." he was getting closer and closer to me, leaning into my neck. i couldnt bak up cause i was against the tree. i felt my heart race faster and i thought i was gonna drop dead from the unhealthly speed of my heart. "Charlie!" Another male voice said. The boy jerked away from me and took a step back. "sorry dad... he just looks so... good..." He was gonna eat me?! My eyes widened and i slid to the ground, i held my head to my knes and tried to block them out. this wasnt real. i was terrified. "oh great, charlie you scared him." "sorry" "your grounded" "what why?!" "Chralie, go home" he grunted and left. "your okay, dont worry, i wont hurt you..." he put his hand on my face and i froze up. his skin was so cold.... like ice... I looked at his face. his eyes were red as well, he had his hair pushed back all slick like and he was pale white. he looked to be wearing some fancy robes. he looked like a vampire. wait... "d-dont touch me" i said pushing his hand away and getting up. I walked to the gate and nearly tripped over two headstones. Fuck. I didnt know how id get back in the house. I decided to figure that out later. I wasnt paying attention and ran into someone. yes, SOMEONE. my heart stopped and seconds later someone lips were pressed against mine. "CHARLIE!!!!" he pulled away and smirked. "godnight my prince..." I was paralized. I felt the color drain from my face and next thing i knew, i passed out.
