"I haven't seen you since I left the US in the beginning of May and I hate it."
"Tom, we're flying to New York to have our big 20th birthday bash with everyone in just 12 days. We've been apart for months before, I think we can take it."
"It just seems so long."
"I know, Tommy. These next 12 days will fly by, I promise."
"They better."
"They will. Now, I'm trying to figure out last minute party details. Anything specific you want at the party?"
"You."
"Other than me. Like do you want two separate cakes of one big one?"
"One. The bigger the better."
"Gotcha. Chocolate or yellow cake?"
"Chocolate! White icing please."
"Anything for you, Tommy. What are our colors again?"
"Gold and Silver, I believe."
"Right! And I just ordered the big letter balloons that will spell out our names."
"Awesome, I gotta go Babe. Talk to you soon?"

"The party is 12 days away, DD. Stop planning and relax for a moment." Brooke said, prying my phone out of my hand.
I pouted, "The party has to be perfect."
"It will be! Trust me. But it won't be if you don't relax."
I laid back on my bed, "I don't know why I'm stressing out so much."
"Because you're letting this party consume your life!" Brooke exclaimed.
I groaned, "Its mine and Tom's 20th birthday. I just want it to be everything I imagined it to be."
"Are y'all finally going to tell everyone that y'all are dating?"
I shrugged, "Maybe, I'm definitely thinking about it."
"I think you should. Everyone wants you to date anyways, so they'll all be happy."
