Okay so only writers will understand the struggles
But one of the worst things when you're writing a book is when the readers are literally like ten steps ahead of you
You ask them what they think will happen based on the prologue and BAM you realize that this was the worst mistake of your life because TEN SMARTASSES HAVE EXPOSED YOUR ENTIRE PLOT before you've even started 😭😭
Your first chapter could be like:
Samantha and Tollilly meet. Quentin likes Tollilly. Samantha eats a pie
Then next thing you know your comments explode:
QUENTIN WILL DIE OF ENDOMETRIAL PROBLEMS, SAMANTHA WILL GO INTO A COMA COZ OF THE PIE AND TOLLILLY ENDS UP WITH SASHA
It's like bruh how did you know, there are all my plot twists gone
And you sit there contemplating your entire career as an author like
What did I do wrong man
Like you just feel like you should change your entire plot coz there's no more fun in surprising the readers sad face
Or like you wonder if your book was just that predictable and it's like ugh fam
By the way, I am well aware that the endometrium is located in the uterus. BUT WHO SAID QUENTIN WAS A BOY
