So big and wide
Frowns when I cry
God why
Did you make it so pretty
So perfect , it fit me
Just right
Down to my dimple
Even my little mole near my lip
I can see when I take a sip
Of my juice
Just enough to show my teeth
Enough to show the happiness my momma brings me when
I get out of school
And she's there
Looking all bright and cool
My smile breaks hearts
When my lips part
And arch up
And my teeth shine like elephant tusks in the hot African Sun
I'm beautiful, and when I grin
It shows my within
At least for awhile
