Mr. Ching: Good morning everyone! As the university closes its quadricentennial year, La Salle opens its centennial year. We have collaborated and therefore decided to host a national event. Hear out Miss Angeles to explain the rules.
Ms. Angeles: Thank you. De La Salle University and University of Santo Tomas will host a competition entitled, Battle of the Champions. Ateneo de Manila Univeristy and University of the Philippines will also be part of the said event. Each school will select two participants to represent their university, thus will be called champion. Everyone age 18 and above. again, 18, are allowed to file their application forms to the registrar's office. Filing of application will last for two weeks
Principal: Thank you Ms. Angeles. Now let me tell you. Fame. that's what you get in winning this. Not only in this school will you be known. the country will witness you not just representing your self, your family, your college, but your school. Once chosen, there is no turning back. As we uphold sportsmanship, this event is to promote inter-school unity, and to meet new friends too...--

Bea: Kris, sasali ka ba?
Josh: Sali tayo!
Lexi: Siyempre hindi! delikado yun kris no!
Josh: KJ mo naman lagi lex! alam mo dapat sumali ka dun eh, baka kakasimula palang, alam mo na agad kung ano mangyayari kasi, know-it-all ka eh no?
Lexi; Funny lang no?
Top student si Lexi sa second years. Madalas siyang inaasar na Ms Know-it-all, kahit si Josh, na best-friend niya.. tipong lahat ng tanong ng teacher alam niya.
Kris: Tumigil na nga kayo jan. kahit naman mag-apply ako. sino bang mapipili?
Josh: May pag-asa ka naman ah! kilalang-kilala ka kaya!
Lumapit si Ken, ang number 1 kaaway ng trio. Mayaman, gwapo, at ... MAYABANG. Football player siya. At kaagaw niya sa kasikatan tong si Kris. Parehas kasi silang nag-aagaw sa 'breakthrough athlete of the year''. Asar din siya kay Lexi dahil pumapangalwa lang siya dito pag dating sa academics. At inaasar naman ni Ken si Bea pag nagtre-training ito kaya naiinis sa kanya si Josh.
Ken: Martin! Wag mong sabihing sasali ka? haha! Asa ka pang mapipili ka. pero sige. mag-apply ka. baka naman sabihin nila, madali kong nakuha yung position.
Lexi: Hindi sasali si Kris no!
Tumawa si Ken. Sa tatlo, si Lexi yung pinaka-enjoy niyang asarin. Nakatingin parin siya kay Kris.
Ken: Grabe din girlfriend mo no? over protective? kung sabagay... baka magasgasan ang balat ng 'baby' niya! HAHAHAHA!
Bea: Kung wala kang magawa sa buhay mo. umalis ka na!
Ken: Sa tingin ko dapat kang maging mabait sakin Bea... Maraming gustong makapasok sa football team.
Josh: At umaapaw na rin ang mga basura sa mundo... hindi. actually kahit sa Pilipinas lang. Kaya pwede, wag ka na dumagdag?!
Umalis na si Ken. Stil grinning.

Okay. medyo fast forward na natin dun sa selection. Dahil UST ang host, dun dumating yung mga bisita nila. dun mismo ia-announce yung mga participants so maraming pumunta, nag-file man o hindi. supporters din. Lahat ng school naintroduce. Ateneo. Lasalle. UP.
CHED head(?): Now. the moment we've all been waiting for! The Champions selection! School Administration were the ones to select among those who filed their applications... I will now give the floor to your school heads to announce your champions.
Na-announce na yung champion sa La Salle, at UP.
Ateneo head: Our champions... Alden Richards and Hiro Magalona!
UST head: Thomasian Champions... are Derrick Monasterio and Kristoffer Martin!
nang pumunta sa stage ang UST Head, tumayo na si Ken. naghahanda... pero nung tinawag si Kris... JAW-DROPPED siya.
CHED head: Lahat ng natawag... please com forward to be fully acknowledged.
Nagcheer lahat ng students! Medyo hindi na magkarinigan
Lexi: Kris! sumali kaaaa?!
Kris: HINDIII!
Bea: Eh bat ka natawag? akala ko ba hindi ka sasali!
Kris: hindi ko din alam! hindi ako nag-file ng application!
Bea: Sigurado ka ba? pumirma ka ba sa kahit anong... paper? o kahit ano man lang!
Kris: ...hindi ko... hindi ko...
Maraming nagcongratulate kay Kris... hindi siya kinakausap niJosh pero ngitingngiti siya...
Kris: JOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!!
CHED head: Mister Martin. Please come forward
Napilitan si kris pumunta. sinubukan niyang ipaliwanag na hindi siya mismo ang nagfile ng application niya. Pero ang katwiran ng CHED head, napili na siya at wala na siyang ibang magagawa kundi ang sumali.
