Stryders: The Beginning

chapter 1: The contract

It was a freezing night in a Russian tundra a group of armed men guarding a truck full of high technological items of interest. As a shadow rises above one guard broke away from a the group. The shadow pulls the man into the bushes with very little struggle as the shadow breaks the man's neck. One of the guards who looked as though they were the leader takes a head count and finds the group was missing one he alerts the rest of them and go into a diamond formation to cover all sides. A mistake they will take to the grave. A bullet rips through the flesh of the leader. The rest scatter running for safety. Even more bullet fire hit one guard is the center of the chest cavity. The last guard stumbling as they try to get a away the shadow appears from a tree in front of the terrified guard. The shadow aims a SKS at the guard and says in a a voice that seemed to be changed by a device "what is in the truck." The terrified guard says "it's a EMP device mentioned to take down the British electrical grid." The shadow says nothing and shoots the guard and walks over to the truck. "Package us clear." A voice comes over the radio headset. "Contract complete return to base syndicate."
