"What?" I stuttered. I still can't believe this. Leukemia. It just kept going in my mind.
"We will need to run a few tests just to be sure." I hear the doctor say over the phone.
"Oh okay. Can I make an appointment now? Over the phone?" I ask.
"Of course." She said and I set an appointment for in 2 days. Then hang up.
"Honey. You are going to school for a few days." I explain to her. First her mother and now this. Lorde please heal my sick child. I believe you made the blind see you made the crippled walk, you raised from the dead, believe you can heal her. I want you to destroy this sickness, please. I pray.
"Daddy? What kind of sickness do I have?" Faith asked. I didn't know what to say.
"Well the doctors are unsure but we are going back and they will tell us. But remember, I will always love you." I replied with tears threatening to fall from my eyes.
