Randhir got ready and came down. Clad in black designer suit he looked absolutely stunning. Everybody was waiting for Sanyukta now. Renuka got upstairs to bring her down.
"Sanyukta..." Renuka entered into her room while Sanyukta was lost in her thoughts
"Sanyukta..." Renuka tapped her shoulders thus bringing her back from trance.
"What happened Beta...Are you fine?" Renuka asked worriedly
"Yes...I am fine" Sanyukta replied with smile
"Okay...Come lets go down now" She caress her hair
"Hmm..." She smiled
Renuka took her down. She was looking absolutely gorgeous. Randhir had his eyes fix on her. His breathes got stuck in his throat.
"Its 7...mahurat hogaya hai..." Raghuvir announced
Randhir stepped forward in her direction. Admiring her he took steps and stood exactly in front of her. She was puzzled. He smiled lightly and put forward his hand. She looked at him first then at his hand which was seeking for her hand.
His eyes held something. Something which she is trying hard to decode since the day she met him.
His eyes had an aura. She just love to keep looking in those pair of chocolate orbs.
Her chain of thoughts was broken by him
"Sanyukta...." He said
She smiled and gave her hand in his. She looked how he wrapped his palm around her fingers.
He lead her to the centre of the hall.
She loved his gesture. She was happy. She looked at him and smiled widely.
Renuka made them sit on sofa.
She applied tilak on their foreheads and showered some flowers on them. She is loving all this. The love and care she is getting from Shekhawat family. This customs and traditions she had only heard about it from Dadu but now she is experiencing all this.
"Hmm take..." Renuka handed her the ring.
"Put it on Randhir's finger..." Renuka said
Sanyukta asked for his hand. He happily gave his hand into hers while she placed ring in his ring finger. She looked at him while everyone clapped.
"Randhir now your turn...Take this" Renuka handed ring to Randhir
Randhir asked for hand. She placed her hand into his and he slide the ring into her ring finger. Everyone clapped.
Randhir & Sanyukta took blessings from everyone. Next they went to Pradhyuman's room to take his blessings.
The ceremony got over. Everyone got back to their rooms except Sanyukta.
She was on terrace admiring the beauty of night sky and thinking about the recent happenings in her life.
She touched her ring and serene smile appeared on her face. She had the flashbacks of the time when he was around her. His concern. His care.
What is happening with me? She asked to herself
Why I feel like...I...don't know. What's this feeling called? Its very new to me. I never felt this for anyone...Randhir...?
Numerous thoughts cross her mind.
"Sanyukta..."
She turned back and found him standing behind her.
"What are you doing here?" "Its quite late" He asked
"Umm...I was...I...I wasn't sleepy so..." She fumbled
"Are you fine?" He asked out of concern
"Yeah...Yes..." She replied
"Sanyukta...you can share with me" "If something is bothering you...feel free to tell me" He said
"Nothing like that...I am fine" She said with a not so convincing smile
"Okay...Its quite late. I think you should go to your room and sleep" "Night" He said and was about to turn just when she stopped him
"Randhirr..."
He stopped and turned back
"Yes..." He replied
"I...I want to...want to ask you something" She stammered
"Go ahead..." He replied
"Randhir...Umm...." She fumbled
"Sanyukta...We are engaged and soon to get married. You can trust me." "We need to be open and vocal to each other" He said thus trying to convince her
"Randhir...I know I just wanted to ask you...Are you happy Randhir?" She finally asked
"What?" "What made you ask me this?" He said
"Everything is happening so fast. Like we are getting married day after tomorrow. I mean we don't know each other properly and...I thought of asking you this. Aren't you marrying me under any pressure or..." She stopped immediately on seeing him looking at her intently
"What do you think Sanyukta?" He asked her
"I...I am...I don't Randhir" She said helplessly
"Are you happy Sanyukta?" He asked her directly this time
"Randhir....I.."
"Tell me are you happy?" He asked her again
"I asked you first so you've to answer me first...." She said
"My answer depends on your answer" He replied leaving her totally concern
"What" She asked him
"Are you happy Sanyukta?" He asked again
"And how does it matters...." She said crossing her arms around her chest
"It matters...It matters to me a lot. Everything about you matters to me..." He replied
"Randhir...I....you...I mean..."
Randhir chuckled on her state
"If you are happy I am happy too. If you are not I can never be happy" "Your happiness matters to more than anything" He said
Sanyukta was stunned.
What did he just say? Why does my happiness matters him so much? Why? She thought
"Don't think too much. Go and sleep" Randhir smirked and left the place.
While Sanyukta was confused.
Firstly her new found feelings and now Randhir's talks.
Just then her phone received a message
"Good Night"
It was from Randhir.
She smiled. She was happy.
"Night" She replied
