She waits for him. The beach breeze blowing her dark pool of brown hair all over and the sunglasses of her face cover her as if she were afraid someone might notice.
His journal stayed in her bag. Though, she felt like of she brought it out she might have to run away from the chair she'd gotten when she woke up at 6:30am and hide in the restroom as she cried for the 100th time this month.
The split was rough. As if he'd hits gotten tired of her. She would wait endlessly for him to come home and at least have the decency to have a chat with her. Her life wasn't all rainbow and sun shines as everyone had thought.
He didn't, come home, or didn't when she was awake. She would feel him sink down into the bed every night, but never had the courage to say what was actually on her mind.
Until she finally snapped.
When the yelling and arguments ended and his last words were "but I love you". She stormed out the door, leaving him with tears running down his face.

That was 4 months ago.
Though, the crying never ended and neither did the guilt she felt everyday.
The journal didn't help either. She had taken it the day she left. She knew what she had to do and she simply wanted a piece of him. Other than the luxurious things he gave her to fill the empty gaps he took from her when he left for work every morning.
The headaches never seem to end and the burning image of his crystal blue eyes didn't either.

Luke was the best thing to ever happen to her. She was amazed with all the joy he filled her with when he was around. She would dance around the house or laugh endlessly at his jokes. He was her soulmate, but sometimes our soul mates change, or maybe we have many. All she knew was that Luke was her best shot and he simply wasn't enough for her constant needs.
